The breakfast sandwich was overly buttered with the eggs runny and undercooked, despite our requesting them a medium doneness. The huevos rancheros had a mix of flavors (pico de gallo, tomatillo and a sour dairy sauce) that didn't quite come together. The restaurant was busy with a Labor Day crowd and seemed a bit understaffed, but the owner/waitress was incredibly warm and welcoming. My husband and I ordered the spicy chicken cubes, eggplant with garlic sauce, and rare beef pho. The stir-fries were outstanding--the chicken packed a punch with spice and that wonderful numbing kick from Sichuan peppercorns, and the eggplant was fried to perfection with crispy edges, just like a dish I loved growing up in China.
