Delicious curry

Absolutely outstanding food and service. You won't find anything better in the valley, and I've been here since 2008. Today I was in a rush and wanting a to-go order, and it took a little longer than I'd have liked for the host so I walked out. I was on the phone and said, "I'm not getting service," to my employee. A man who was sitting down outside with two others stood up and explained he was the owner and had to make it right. I explained it wasn't a big deal and that I was in a rush, but he and his wife insisted on making it right. So they had their Chef make a quick to-go order and we sat and chatted. I felt a little embarrassed because it really wasn't a big deal, but we ended up having a lovely conversation and the host came out and apologized. They refused to accept any cash and sent me back to work with a delicious meal in time to prepare for my 1pm. You don't find service like that anymore and I'll of course keep coming back.

Everything I've tried so far has been amazing -Samosa -Cauliflower Manchurian -Naan - Butter Chicken -Korean Pulled Pork Bowl Current special: chicken teriyaki with pineapple upside down cake. My favorite place to go with friends and share different entrees and appetizers!

GREAT outdoor patio. loved the live music. I came here for a solo dinner experience and had the cauliflower flatbread, cilantro salmon and chocolate torte. I appreciate it that they have gluten free and dairy free options listed on their menu.

Tofu Pesto Sandwich

Came here with my fiancé and his parents after a weekend in Ashland for OSF. He and I are vegan and his parents aren't so we're always grateful for places that have great options for both. I had the tofu pesto sandwich, which was simple and fresh. The fries on the side were so perfect and crispy. Service was great, and it wasn't very busy so we were helped right away. I like that it feels like someone's home. We sat outside on the patio, which was pleasant. I'd come back again to try out the little bar and the mimosas!

By very comfortable, great food and a nice view of the nearby hills. Lots of gluten free healthy options. We will eat here again for sure.

We showed up at 5 and were greeted by the same fabulous woman as last time. You just know that someone that kind and welcoming would not own a place she wasn't rightfully proud of. She sets the tone and all the employees carry it through the entire meal. We chose to try the patio tonight and it was cozy yet open, darker with a couple of fire lights around the room. Intimate. Some of the tables are separated by live plants in planter boxes. We loved it. We started with the beets (with shaved fennel pieces and a citrus vinaigrette with a tahini yogurt sauce on the bottom) and burrata (with grilled pieces of bread and sugar snap peas and capers) appetizers - both were delicious. Randy wanted to try another of their off menu drinks. We can't remember what this drink is called but it's not on the menu and has some Mai tai mix and orange bitters ... like a mock Mai tai spritzer. Delicious - Randy had two! I got the mushroom bolognese - so good. It's home made (!) bucatini pasta with a mushroom (cremini, oyster and shiitake) and san Marzano tomato sauce with burrata on top. I love mushrooms but Randy does not and he loved this dish. The mushrooms taste meaty. Randy ordered the Carbonara again and it was also delicious. We also got an order of garlic bread this time and wow. We each have half of our dinners left, lucky us. We shared the creme brûlée which came with a lavender short bread cookie. Perfect. Everything was perfect. The place was packed and all employees were calm and efficient and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

TL;DR: the service and menu are inconsistent. Some nights really good, some nights not. Mistakes…read morewere made by multiple aspects of the restaurant and a member of our party who communicated very clearly that she has Celiac was served a dish with bread. I truly want to like this restaurant, but I have had some really mixed experiences. The ambiance is very nice - it can get a little loud in the dining room, but the tables are comfortable, the lighting is appropriate, and the decor is interesting. The wine list is phenomenal and the reason I brought friends on my most recent visit. The menu is really hit and miss. There are some dishes that are excellent (some things even sell out before the evening is over), but unfortunately, not all. The hostess is absolutely wonderful - she is charming and funny and really has a talent for making you feel welcome and appreciated for dining with them. Unfortunately, the service is really hit and miss. On my last visit, the waitress really didn't seem like she had time for us. She didn't take the time to explain in much detail about menu items or the wine list. She didn't participate in any banter with us or really make us feel welcome. She seemed rushed, which has not been my experience with service here in the past. My biggest concern, though, is about the efforts of the staff and kitchen to keep items allergen-free. The restaurant advertises itself as a place that is Celiac knowledgeable and friendly. We made it clear in our reservation and to the waitress when we sat down at the table that one member of our party had Celiac and needed to be strictly gluten free. All seemed well and we ordered two appetizers marked as gluten free on the menu. One of those appetizers was served with bread. After the food had been delivered, the waitress must have noticed the issue and offered to have the kitchen remake the dish. We agreed (she left the original plate on the table and in the end we were only charged for one, so all good). The re-made dish was brought out, with bread on the side. There should not have been bread at all, it was very confusing. All in all I would return one more time and hope to have a different experience, but if that experience was the same as my recent one, I likely would not return.
