Pangea is that little hole in the wall that brings a lot of heart to what they do and I will say that rose lemonade... give us more!!!! Pangea is an amazing little spot with indoor and outdoor seating. They have very open space and it's just a nice spot overall. The service was very good and the food comes out in good time. They were really sweet and accommodating so ask all the questions you want they are amazing humans. The food was pretty good, I can tell they are noted for the crispy crunch of their sandwich's the only hard part for me is they got soggy inside. The flavors were good but I would toast the inside just a bit so it does not get too soggy. I also did not taste any of the pepperoni in my sandwich. But outside of that my wife was doing the happy dance with hers. We really enjoyed coming by for a light lunch and would definitely come back for more. read more

Pangea has a menu that I can eat everyday. However, I already had dinner when I passed through here but I couldn't resist trying the kabocha pumpkin soup. I've never heard of such a thing. The soup almost eats like mash potatoes and I see quinoa and onion in it. It was delicious and very inspiring for my own recipe development. I literally can eat this menu everyday! Casual. Wow! Spicy tofu panini was delicious. We also had a two of the soups, a (huge) lemon basil cookie, and rice pudding. Everything was made fresh and tasted incredible. There is a table outside (dog friendly) but we opted to take our food to go. The folks working there were very friendly and their recommendations were perfect! read more

This is such a nice little spot on the main drag in Ashland. I got lunch here before a matinee at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. It's counter service, and someone brings your order to your table. It's also rather small and got crowded inside, but the environment itself is cheerful and whimsical. I ordered the Spring Chicken wrap. It was larger than I expected, with generous ingredients! A good amount of food for the price, for sure. I'm a rather small eater for midday meals, so I actually couldn't finish my second half. I'd love to see a half order offered, maybe with a cup of soup? I think I might try a half portion salad next time. Everything on the menu sounds good, so it was hard to decide on something. Hope to be back soon! read more

Amazing food and great vegan/gluten free options! I came here with my friends who don't have dietary restrictions -- they are foodies who love cheese, meat, and bread, so we struggle to compromise finding food places that work for everyone. We dropped in for a quick bite, before our play, and found Pangea on Main Street is a real gem! We greatly enjoyed the German Potato Soup with Bacon ($7.50/cup), the classic Split Pea Soup ($7.50/cup), and two very generous and delicious wraps, the Teriyaki Chicken ($14.99) and the Grill from Ipanema, with Chicken ($14.99). The folks behind the counter were friendly, fast, and packed plenty of napkins for our to-go order (Thank You, Orion!). The restaurant is small and quirky, in the best of ways, and the uni-sex restroom was clean. The food is the real Star of Pangea, and I am looking forward to returning tomorrow. Service was a bit slow, both with ordering and delivery. Staff were a bit impatient. The menus are in a rack on a hutch as you make your way to the counter to order. We tried the Indian curry wrap (with chicken) and the French Kiss (a caprese using brie.) I keep trying things with curry and I keep wondering why I did! Did a DoorDash order for Pangea to get lunch to-go before embarking on a long car drive. While looking in the app, one of the wraps- Tangled up in Blue- was not showing up in the app. After a quick phone call with the restaurant, one of the servers was equally as stumped about why it didn't show up. She quickly came up with a great solution that I would order a different wrap that had the same price and make a note in the comments and she would take care of it. Lo and behold I was able to get my Tangled up in Blue after all! It was very nice of them to go the extra mile to help get that sorted For the record- the Ranch Blues (and the sandwiches in general) are better than the wraps in my own opinion but as far as how clean I could be in the car, the wrap was the far better choice. A friend of mine insisted that I come here. We had just left SOU and needed a casual, relaxing lunch! Great little place to come to. The lentil soup was delicious! The French Kiss panini was good, a little more brie would've been great cause it's my favorite. I loved the ginger lemonade! So refreshing! The best little sandwich shop on Main and it is open on Mondays! I was starving and needed to find a quick bite. Happened upon this unassuming gem which was open and serving both take out and in house dining. The menu was posted out front. I BnB ordered the "I'll have what she's having". Totally yummy panini. Chicken and veggies served on the most delicious panini roll. Toasted just to perfection. I also added chips and water. Now we're talking' Everything was delivered quickly and nice and hot. Only stopped in to get some soup. They claim their soups of the day are on their Facebook page. But it wasnt for today (10/27). So, had to visit in person. They were offering 4 soups. I went with the German potato and bacon. This is a cream based soup, like a tradition potato soup. It was pretty good. It could have been a little bit thicker, but it was not really runny. The flavor was good. A lot of small pieces of bacon and a lot of taters. The only disappointment is the price point. $7.50 for a cup. That's a little extreme. But I get it. Touristy town. "inflation". The young lady taking orders was pleasant. They were going through some computer issues but she tried to stay positive. read more

Okay not wowed. Grilled paninis take longer to get out than wraps. My grilled panini "I'll have what she's having " was super salty. I was told it the salty sauce on plate. Otherwise it might have been tasty also a little messy and 2nd half got soggy (maybe I ate too slow;) Italian Bolt was good. We waited in line for 15 minutes for a pickup order to be told their online ordering was not working secondary to their printer not working. We had an appointment and did not have time to wait for the order to made. A refund was refused despite this being an error on their side. Very poor customer service. Will not return. Happy to find Pangea, thanks to my fellow Yelpers! Many choices for panini sandwiches, wraps, salads, coffees and teas. Unusual and yummy selections to choose from. They offer vegan and gluten free options even though we are not vegetarian. You feel good eating this food and it's all SO delicious! Reasonable prices, decent sizes and you won't feel bloated. I like how they carefully put in spices and sauces to compliment the mix of ingredients. We had the portabello mushroom panini and the cherry chicken wrap which were both very tasty. Thai'd up Tofu, Hummus Wrapture, Hoodoo Voodoo and Asian Chicken are my favorite wraps on the menu. They also have a nice selection of grilled paninis, but I haven't tried any yet. I've been coming here for years since the food is tasty, although I typically get my food to go and don't eat in at the small cafe. You don't get your food lightning quick since they make everything from scratch (no microwaves here), so be prepared to chill out or do some window shopping along Main Street while they prepare your food. They use organic ingredients and free-range and hormone-free meats. They also have gluten free, teff wraps, and a small selection of beer, wine and coffee drinks. read more
