Went with a 4 because 1. You can't use a gift card from Rubys in Ashland at this location. 2. The Egg sandwich on sourdough was very mediocre. It needs a vinegary component and a slice of tomato... maybe some mayo. But the steak and egg burrito was absolutely delicious. I wish I would have gotten that one. Service was just fine and the vibe outside was great. Surprisingly for Father's Day breakfast time it wasn't very busy. I'd be back for some more burritos... probably lunch too.

    Breakfast burrito

First, the good: the breakfast burrito was tasty. The bad: Basically everything else. I ordered a burrito and a decaf americano (they don't have decaf drip coffee). Paid. Sat down with my number. A bit later, the guy comes out and tells me that he doesn't have any decaf coffee ground up and it would take five or six minutes just to grind it. Apparently he doesn't want to do this. I can't have caffeine, don't want juice, so I say, "I'll just take a refund." We proceed to wait 45 minutes for the burrito. The person I'm with goes inside and gets a refill on their regular coffee (no one has come out to update us or refill his coffee in that time). He asks about the status of the burritos. They say they're backed up. But there are several vacant tables inside and out, it is not busy. We finally got the burritos, they were good. But 1) there was more than enough time to grind some coffee grounds and make an Americano in that 45 minutes. 2) I never got refunded for the coffee I didn't get. They said it would go back on my card, didn't happen. The burrito was good but there are a lot of places with good burritos in Medford. The entire experience left a lot to be desired.

Solid breakfast burrito. I ordered the breakfast burrito "spicy" which means it includes jalapeños. They pre-mix the meats it in it so I was unable to take a particular meat out. It has great flavor. The burrito is large enough to split between two people or keep half for another meal. Very clean. Very popular based on the crowd and take out orders. The wait for food was about 30 minutes on a Saturday morning around 8am but it was the result of their popularity.

Wendy burrito with curry tofu!! Delish!

My first time at Ruby's and I LOVED it! I ordered the Wendy burrito, tofu curry. Really GOOD! The service was great, kind and well versed with the menu items. And even made suggestions. The outdoor seating was just what I needed to enjoy the surrounding sights and sounds. I will be going back to try the other vegan options. Thanks Ruby's for a yummy lunch.

Went here for breakfast...delicious breakfast burrito. I can sneak gluten in once in a great while and so glad I did here. The menu does say they can make anything gluten free. I think it was $10 and was completely filling. They served it pretty fast and they were friendly. Love to find awesome places like this! Cute casual decor too.

All around good, decent 3 star food. The kind, friendly service gets them an extra star. We like their variety of mimosas, the kiddos like their burritos and we all like the atmosphere. It's a great location to chill out side with a warm coffee on a cool morning or a chilled mimosa for brunch on a warm, sunny Sunday. We've tried close to 1/2 the menu now, and it's all been good...just not wow worthy.

I love the food here. The service is also amazing. I prefer the summertime so I can sit outside (if you are bundled up the patio is still available) on the patio since the inside is a little small and noisy but they've add some wonderful plants inside and updated the decor so the inside is great now as well. They make mimosas that are super yummy but my favorite is they make one with an on tap CBD kombucha that is to die for. Cheers! Oh and they stay open later now, I believe until 8pm.

Delicious food, beautiful presentation and friendly service. The prickly pear lime margarita was perfect of this scorching hot day.

I've been eating a Ruby's for quite some time now. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy. The breakfast burritos are the best in town. At lunch today my brain cells sparked in just the right way and I made a fantastic discovery. You can order Gil's Nachos on fries instead of chips! This amazing concoction will now be my new go-to Ruby's lunch of choice. Next time I'll try adding some Deep Leonard sauce. Suggestion: It should definitely be added to the menu as Henry's Loaded Fries.

Food is great. If they are busy you might have a bit of a wait but only because of small staff. They are always friendly.

Great burritos with huge portions. However the blood Mary was not my favorite. The drink was really thick and tasted off.

Worst spicy Bloody Mary in town. Food was alright. If you knew it was going to be too thick, why still serve it to me.

Otherwise amazing burritos and chocolate Jesus sauce... They closed the doors 10 minutes early as this is driving up. Really weird.

Wow!!!! What an amazing place that we came across! Thanks to Yelp for finding this place. The name…read morespeaks for itself with their biscuits. The restaurant is huge and open and friendly. We sat down fast and ordered pretty quickly. I ordered a pesto bacon and egg biscuit sandwich it was 10/10. I actually used the raspberry jam my mom got with hers and mixed it with the biscuit which made me end up buying the jam to go. Fresh homemade jam for $8 what a steal!! I fell in love with this restaurant, it's too bad I don't live in Medford or I'd be a frequent customer.

One day we hopped in the car and said, "Let's drive down to Medford for the night." We found a…read morecheap hotel and as chance would have it, this little bakery was right around the corner. It is a small, intimate space where we were greeted with a big smile by the hostess and our waiter came by soon after we were seated. It was a chilly walk around the corner so I was looking for a hot coffee to warm me up. Having never been here before I opted for the special of the day, which was something with lavender in it, and I was surprised at the delicate way the latte both supported the robust coffee flavor and the delicate lavender addition. It was better than I anticipated and I knew that we had stumbled upon a gem of a spot that emphasized quality of what they serve. Now, for breakfast, I love a good gravy but I am always disappointed by my order. The country gravy is usually too thin, to bland, too chunky with some sort of meat product, and too small of quantity to really enjoy a good biscuit with it. With this skepticism in mind, I ordered the "The Works" assuming at the very least, the addition of fried eggs and ham were good enough to eat on its own when the gravy, which I also assume will disappoint me, runs dry. I apologize for my assumptions, ButterCloud Bakery, because I was served a thick, seasoned, peppery gravy and plenty of it. This is actually the best gravy I have ever ordered from a restaurant, if I was not traveling, I might have bought a few sides of this delicious concoction and brought it home for the next several mornings! Nothing skimpy on my plate. My husband ordered the beef and blue and devoured every last bite. I managed to steal a few bites off his plate and was pleasantly surprised, I did not expect to like it as much as I did. I stole a few more bites when he was in the bathroom! We left very satisfied with our meal, our drinks, and our service. Fast forward a few months later and we are traveling with my parents to California and we insisted that we stopped by ButterCloud Bakery to share our gem of a find. My mom considers herself quite the cook and she also was skeptical of the gravy. One bite and her eyes popped...she was also impressed. This time round I had the scone and gravy and enjoyed every last bite. My mom tried a specialty hot chocolate and I, again, had the latte special of the day, both were rich with flavor. Our second round at ButterCloud Bakery did not disappoint and we have decided it will be our go-to spot when we are in the area, there is still a lot of menu items to try!
