My husband & I come here often, usually just for coffee (or latte) sometimes a goodie, occasionally breakfast. I think they have the best coffee in the Rogue Valley. My ultimate favorite was the special roast they made for the Jacksonville Inn which sadly went away when the Inn closed. The Mary's dark roast is a reliable 2nd. They also have a good, not bitter, dark decaf (nice to blend the two!) They have a simple limited menu but it's made to order with fresh ingredients. Highest quality bagel I've EVER had. Don't expect it to be a boiled New York bagel or a scooped socal bagel, and don't expect it to have a hole! These are basically bagels made into rolls and they are phenomenal!!!! I ordered the rosemary garlic and my partner ordered the jalapeño swiss. The eggs on the bagel sando are scrambled, the cheese has the perfect pull, and the bacon is thick and tasty. I wouldn't change a thing. Except maybe adding a light smear of a spicy aioli and a couple slices of avocado but these aren't needed at all, just an addition that could add even more excitement. 1,000/10 experience. People are mid, coffee was bleh, and food came unprepared. I used to love goodbean. I made a special trip out to Jacksonville just because I was craving a Goodbean Dream. When I went, I thought I grabbed the wrong coffee because the drink was so bitter. I was used to high quality coffee but only got something that tasted like I made it from home. I also got a bagel, which was annoying because they don't toast it for you. You have to use their weird conveyor belt toaster oven. Of course, my bagel got stuck inside it and I burnt my hand trying to get it out with a fork. Also, the server didn't smile at all or say anything friendly. She just pleasantly took my order and left it at that. There was another lady there who gave me my coffee and she straight up just deadpanned stared at me like she was waiting for me to leave so she could do something else. The pastries looked good, but I didn't try any, I'd consider a second trip to test it out the pastries, with the good reviews by others. Visiting from Las Vegas for a couple weeks this place is great for catching up with homework. FREE wifi and many places to sit. With Covid 19 regulations the servers clean regularly. The staff is friendly . Their is a variety of drinks from coffee to Teas and smoothies too! I had their 2 Oregon Sweet Chai. And their Berry Smoothie. All delicious.I had the Street tacos trio. Tasted very good. Great flavor! The lunch menu opens from 11-2pm it can get packed even on rainy days.The experience was pleasant I will stop by here a couple times more before my trip ends. I had the opportunity to visit this sweet spot in Jacksonville last weekend. It is the sort of place where I would spend A LOT of time if I were a local. We just stopped in for coffee (my mother got the drip coffee and I had a GoodBean Scream (half drip coffee half mocha). Their coffee is so smooth! No acidity at all. This was the perfect spot for our mother daughter breakfast this morning. Parking was easy, the atmosphere was super chill & it was very clean inside. We were first timers & everything looked so delicious it was difficult to choose. After scoping the menu in advance Emily had her heart set on her absolute favorite bakery item: coffee cake, but when the perfectly plated slice was placed on the counter it contained blueberries so unfortunately she had to pick something different. She ended up ordering a hot chocolate with a cinnamon twist & she couldn't have been happier with her decision. She loved both. I ordered the avocado toast topped with fresh sliced tomato along with an oat milk latte made with sugar free chocolate & hazelnut. My drink was phenomenal, so good I was bummed out when it was all gone & wish I had stayed long enough to order a second one. The avocado toast generally comes with toppings like tomatoes, bacon &/or an egg but since I don't eat either I ordered mine with just tomato; I wish it had been seasoned rather than plain but I added salt & pepper & enjoyed it nonetheless. We could tell it must be pretty good by the crowd inside and all the people sitting outside on the sidewalk patio tables. I ordered the french toast with sausage and egg and a Mocha and my husband had the pesto eggs and potatoes with black coffee.
