My friend and I are on a week long road trip from California to Oregon. We spent the night in Grants Pass recently, and I had looked up the best coffee in the area. I came across the Wheelhouse which had great reviews. We decided to try their coffee on the way out of town, and they did not disappoint us!! In fact, we thought it was the best coffee we have ever had!! My friend had their popular coffee drink called The OC, and I had the Salted Maple coffee. The three people working there were all super nice too. My friend and I kept joking about flying up to Grants Pass from the San Francisco Bay Area again just to have their coffee!! I'm so glad that my dad and I decided to stop by Wheelhouse on our road trip! It's such a cute van and the baristas are super friendly. They gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area since we were just passing through. I went with the OC (orange cardamom latte) and my dad got the Muddled Mint Cold Brew. We both really enjoyed our drinks. I love cardamom, so I was super excited to see it on the menu since it's not very common. It was the perfect pick-me-up during our drive to California. There were several other food vendors parked there but we didn't end up trying anything else. There are plenty of tables to sit at and bathrooms are inside the brewery. Also, parking is really easy. We were driving a 24' RV and parked on the side of the road. They have a parking lot next door as well. If we're ever passing through again I'll be sure to stop by! read more

This was an excellent stop in the morning for an espresso and iced tea for my drive. The espresso was nice and strong. The dirty chai was a bit too spicy for me so I saved it to dilute and enjoy later. Chatting with the owners was nice. Very friendly and nice to chat with. We tried this place while visiting Grantspass. It is a little coffee truck outside a local brewery. We liked it so much we came back numerous times in the week we were there. Walked up first thing is the morning with a large drink order, and it didn't even phase them. The menu is straightforward with the classics, yet tantalizing with their signatures. I loved their cold brew. Whatever roast they are using has great flavor and is very smooth going down. We also had a chai, which featured an impeccable balance of spice. Stacking up the points for wheelhouse is the customer service. Brendan was super cool and friendly. He even offered to make a few of the drinks extra hot because they were going to be driven and delivered before enjoyed. Nice and hot balanced without any overpowering flavors, and salt was a nice touch you pick up on in the beginning. I can't say it's the best ever mocha I have had but it hit the spot, so a solid 4/5 (I think that's good, right?!) I recently moved to the area and have been on the hunt for great coffee... and this is it!! The owners are incredibly kind and their set-up is super modern and cool. And the coffee is delicious! I ordered the Dream Cloud which is a cold brew topped with a layer of lightly sweetened cold foam. The foam was perfectly whipped so that it lasted with every sip of the coffee. It truly is what coffee dreams are made of! I also ordered the Salted Mocha over ice for my husband, and it was delicious as well. It had a good balance of coffee flavor with real chocolate and not overly sweet. I had my two little boys with me and we shared a Blueberry Muffin and Cinnamon Raisin Bagel. They were both so fresh and yummy, I will definitely order them again. Thank you Wheelhouse for making truly great coffee and sharing your kindness with your customers!! Lastly I also wanted to mention that Wheelhouse is in an awesome area with other food trucks that open for lunch and dinner. It is outdoors and filled with long wooden picnic tables with covered umbrellas. The shared outdoor space is very clean and well designed.
