The Lonely Pine is adorable and the coffee is delicious! It's a 10/10. I would consider it my favorite coffee in southern Oregon

Stopped in for a hot tea one evening on a visit to Grants Pass. I saw online they had Pavlovas…read more Sadly those were all sold out but I took a delicious double chocolate cookie and also a passionfruit mousse that the staff person said was her personal favorite. Ordered a London Fog to go with it and headed back to my hotel. The service was so welcoming and friendly and her suggestion was spot on. I will not forget that passionfruit mousse ever. Dusted with grated chocolate, it was so rich and creamy, had this subtle caramel-like tone, and yet the passionfruit powered through. Every bite was a true delight. If you are a passionfruit fan you will want to lick the container so you don't miss a morsel. I did not, but definitely wanted to! They add lavender and honey to their London Fog tea which was delicious. I will definitely go back when I next visit GP.

We also enjoyed their homemade, creamy gelato. It's the best gelato in the area and a must try! The service was fast and the staff is super friendly. We were welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. The owner was nice enough to talk to us about the restaurant and his story. The ambiance is chic and inviting. They have beautiful artwork on the walls and nice lighting to give it a warm winter vibe. We love this place and will definitely be back when we visit Grants Pass!

As far as Cupcakes go... this is the place for unique specialty cupcakes frosted to order. This is…read morethe 1st time I've seen a place frost each cupcake "to order" to ensure freshness. On a weekday, late morning, there was a short line. Everyone ahead of me ordered at least 2 cupcakes *good sign*. I new mom carrying their very new baby in a Mayan sling wrap order "one for now, one to go". An older couple ordered one each to sit and enjoy. I went big and ordered a dozen for a family get together (assuming 2 per person). I'm not into sugary sweets, so keep that in mind when I say that it's 50% frosting / 50% cake was a little too much frosting for me personally. That being said, the descriptions of each cupcake can not be more accurate. There are a few cupcakes that have filling (lemon and raspberry for sure), EVERY cupcake is moist and flavorful and exactly as described. Skip the birthday cupcakes and since you're paying specialty prices, pick a unique flavor that you can't make at home. Vanilla pecan Bourbon *yes please* Support A Local Business! Come Here :)

The decor was a definitely fun one, with Mickey and Mini Mouse and Jack Skellington adorning the walls. Everything looked fresh and it should have, when you order the cupcakes are made but they put the icing on and put it in a nice package where it would not get crushed. I ordered the carrot cake cup cake to go . There is a nice small table and chairs in the front of the business where you can sit down and enjoy your purchase. The folks working here are really friendly and full of great information. When I come back to Grants Pass this will be one of my first stops, highly recommend
