What an amazing experience at DASSH Bakery in Grants Pass! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the owners, a husband-and-wife team who clearly pour their hearts into this bakery. Everything is made fresh, and you can absolutely taste the difference. We ordered the Local Bagel, and it was phenomenal. It had bacon, aioli, and a variety of fresh ingredients that came together perfectly. I honestly can't remember everything that was on it because I was too busy enjoying it! The bagel itself was fresh-made and absolutely delicious. We also tried the ham bagel sandwich with cheddar, ham, and honey mustard, and it was just as fantastic. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. For a sweet treat, we had the blueberry scone, and it was perfection--flavorful, tender, and clearly made from scratch. Their coffee menu is impressive as well. They can make just about any latte you want and offer a great selection of syrups, including cookie butter, vanilla, lavender, and many more. They also have plenty of milk options, including oat milk, almond milk, whole milk, and regular milk. The bakery itself was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very inviting. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with outdoor seating available, including two two-top tables and a larger six-top table, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your food and coffee. The service was impeccable. Since the bakery is run by the owners themselves, things may take a little longer during busy times, but that wasn't an issue at all for us. The care, attention, and quality they put into every order are well worth the wait. If you're in Grants Pass, DASSH Bakery is an absolute must-visit. Stopped in for a quick bagel sandwich to go and this place is popular! A constant stream of customers, tons of regulars that the staff knows by name. A good variety of bagel flavors every day, they offer a few types of bagel sandwiches or build your own. Also offer pastries but not much was out yet at 9a at opening. We've been meaning to try this bakery for years! My husband is on vacation this week and we finally managed to make it in...and we've been back three days in a row. Every last thing we have tried (and we've tried quite a few things ) is heavenly! GREAT prices, EXCELLENT service, SPECTACULAR food & treats. Their bagel sandwiches are seriously something to write home about. Get there early because they close early! I always find myself craving their bagel sandwiches too often and get so sad when they're closed. Whenever anyone walks in, they're greeted with an enthusiastic smile when they walk through the door, and although their bagel sandwiches do take some time to make, it is ALWAYS worth it. Was really looking forward to trying this place. 30 minutes for two bagel sandwiches when you aren't that busy is just not acceptable. Unfortunately, it looks like the to-go order 5-10 mins behind us got our bagel sandwiches (10+ mins before ours came out) which meant not only was our order pushed back but the bagels were no longer available. The staff, while nice, spent the last 15 mins telling us repeatedly that they would be right out but ultimately we had to go in to get them off the counter. We have driven past Grants Pass a dozen times on the way and back from California. Never considered stopping. We didn't really see anything we wanted to eat in Medford so we kept driving. Found Dassh in the next town over on Yelp and figured, we have some extra time, why not? Glad we did! It actually became one of the highlight meals of our road trip. From the small hometown feel, where everyone that walks in is greeted by their first name, to the excellent customer service behind the counter. Great sandwiches, fresh baked bread, tasty pasta salad and plenty of desserts! We ate outside on the patio and listened to a clock tower strike noon just as some warm sun peaked through the clouds. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. They make their own bagels so they're not as chewy as traditional bagels. More like a really good crisp on the outside, soft on the inside roll. 9 am on Monday and we were in line ready to get a nice breakfast before continuing on our road trip. The staff were a little delayed getting ready so we occupied ourselves by walking around the block for 10 minutes. Now we're ready to go and a line has already formed. Everyone seems to know what they want already which is good because the menu is incredibly vague and DASSH does not have a web presence with a menu (even most of the photos and comments Yelp has posted no longer seem to apply). We order and that's when we notice there isn't a sign enforcing the mask mandate and the staff are not masked up. The food itself, a bacon stuffed croissant and what might be a pesto, ricotta, artichoke croissant were pretty good (though unfortunately not served hot). However, the experience cultivated around the food was not altogether pleasant. read more

Stopped in for the first time today and we are so happy we did. The Bacon breakfast sandwich and the Lox bagel were spectacular. The cappuccino and latte were also very good. I believe they use Mellelo coffee. They have about 6 two and three top tables inside and a few tables at the sidewalk. It was a Friday morning and they were very busy but were also very friendly and accommodating. The bakery was selling out of things pretty quickly so be patient and flexible when ordering. There was a friendly group of locals inside, and it definitely gave a local favorite vibe. I went with the bacon sandwich and absolutely delicious. Standard bacon, eggs, and cheese. However, the aioli and bagel sends this sandwich to the next level! Had a great breakfast here recently! Super delicious bacon and egg bagel sandwich which was generous and filling. Not sure where they get their bacon but its to die for! The bagel was perfect in chewiness, just the way I like it! My Mocha was just about the best mocha I have ever had. It was so rich and creamy, not sure if I got a breve by mistake, but if this was a normal mocha, I am in heaven! Just a tiny hole in the wall mom and pop place, but believe it or not we found a place to sit and enjoy our food, and the people behind the counter were very friendly. Hands down one of the best cinnamon I've ever had!!! Semi crunchy outside, moist & soft in the inside with sliced nuts & poppyseed (which I haven't had in a cinnamon roll before). It's also not too sweet like most cinnamon rolls, but it's also very savory! I also love the flakey croissant, buttery goodness. Last but not least I tried their ham & cheese roll that looks similar to a cinnamon roll. Super flavorful & tasty!
