Croquette Bakery is a little gem! Their croissants are absolutely amazing--flaky, buttery, and fresh. The coffee pairs perfectly, and the warm, cozy ambiance makes it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. On top of that, the staff is super friendly and welcoming.

We parked in the lot to visit Rogue Creamery and Coquette Bakery was right to the side. Why not try it out? We walked in and were originally set on getting the very puffy and flaky looking kouign amann, but after reading the label and seeing it was flavored with cardamom (not my favorite), we decided to go another direction. Pain Au Chocolate [sic] ($5.75) - Really dark brown baked cocoa-infused shell on this croissant, enough to give a deep color but not burnt. This creates an extremely flaky crisp right on the top, nicely contrasting against the chewy interior. The interior isn't dried out at all even with the somewhat harder bake. Inside they put a ton of mildly sweet dark chocolate. This isn't a traditional pain au chocolat, using batons, and instead there's basically a large log of chocolate rolled inside the center. Since there's so much chocolate, this one with a lower melting point than a typical baton, the additional moisture while baking compresses some of the honeycomb structure a bit. Based on my best guess from what I can see, the normal croissants baked at Coquette probably have excellent lamination and proofing. There's an additional chocolate drizzle on top that adds more sweetness, but the pastry never reaches the point that I would consider too sweet. (5/5) We only purchased a single pastry on this visit. I'll have to revisit in the future to try out their other specialties.

Omg. So good. A friend introduced me to this masterpiece over the summer. I had forgotten about it until a week ago and I've been revising a couple times a week since, grabbing one to go with a house coffee. Everyone has been very friendly. I also tried the chocolate croissant which was just as good. I happen to be a huge carrot cake fan so I stick with this. They also serve some lunch items so I'm planning to go back at some point in the afternoon.

We were in the area to go to a winery (which had closed) and found this cute bakery. It is a small bakery some different breads and pastries. We ordered a carrot cake cupcake and a baguette.

Crispy pastry with good filling. I don't have the picture. I ate it too fast!

What a finding! Fresh and tasty bread with a great service! Big variety too, we had a big group so we tried the ginger tile (unanimously the best!), cinnamon bun, ham and cheese croissant (had sooo much delicious cheese (my favorite!). The grilled paninis were also a hit (I didn't try) but they really like the sauce that came with. There are tables inside and also outside, lots of parking space.

I like this little spot next to the creamery. It's a old gas station with roll up garage doors. It's A + for Service and Friendliness. Baked goods also A+ Baked goods with a High Five for the coffee cake. Coffee, at this point, appears to be brewed only but no espresso. it was very good. Sandwich was substantial, they are pre made in the European style but they are too big for me or any of my buds who are all good eaters. Well, one guy finished, but he's special.

    Espresso, Cappuccino, or Latte anyone?

Besides the yummy artisanal baked goods, they've got surprises of desserts & cookies too! The hospitality is second to none...though I'd be too sleepy to entertain if I were the baker, they're now serving espresso, cappuccinos &/or lattes to go with your favorite Coquette speciality. Everything is so good, I always walk out with more than I planned for.

Cheers Coquette! Welcome to Central Point. Great to see you in a brick and mortar spot. A wonderful addition to the cache of places to hang in town, including Central Point Perk and Crater Cafe. Coquette is a different sort of place, baking delicious, hearty breads and baked goods the old fashioned way. Absolutely delicious croissants (yes, likely a whole stick of butter in each one), fancy sweet goodies like the Cocoa Puff pastry, fantastic loaves of various sourdough breads, and nice, balanced, yet hearty coffee. Located in the former Ledger David Cellars tasting room, this is a happening spot where folks bring their dogs, kids, and friends for a treat and some good conversation. A laid back vibe, super friendly owners and staff, and overall very welcoming. Breads, while seemingly on the higher-priced side, are actually a great value and will last you just as long as a loaf from a generic store-bought brand. The bread is very simple in ingredients, lasts whether refrigerated or not, toasts up like a dream, and is flavorful and old-world styled. YUM! These folks also donate their leftover goods to food banks and those in need, which is important and says a lot about their moral stance as a business. Hope you can check 'em out! It's worth the taste. Highly recommended.

I do not like blue cheese. I'll get that out of the way first. But Rogue Creamery with their world…read morerenowned cheese? There's no way I could resist visiting. On a weekday morning right during opening, as soon as I opened the front door, I could smell funky blue cheese wafting through the entire shop. Rogue Creamery doesn't make many types of cheese - just a couple of blues and cheddar, nestled in a single refrigerated display case, but they also offer other cheeses from several different outside suppliers. To complete a cheese plate, they also sell an assortment of charcuterie items like jams and honeys, and plenty of items in the fridge. Of course, since we were traveling, we couldn't exactly buy much, so we went with one of their famous grilled cheeses: Classic Rogue Grilled Cheese ($8) - This sandwich includes a drizzle of honey on both faces of bread followed by a sprinkle of blue cheese. and then a veritable mound of cheddar, which is then sandwiched together and pressed in a panini press. The amount of cheese included creates an awesome cheese stretch. The sandwich is rich and fatty, and the bread, cheese, and honey blends creates a somewhat salty, funky and sweet bite. While the bread is toasted, I don't believed it's buttered, so it isn't that crisp. I'd like to see some additional crunchy elements in the sandwich - perhaps some toasted nuts? I dislike blue cheese immensely, but it's surprisingly mild and sweet in this sandwich, being blended and balanced with the cheddar. Would I get this sandwich again? Probably not, due to the blue cheese, but it was great to try! Rogue Creamery Rogue Gold Pepper Spread Spicy, 8oz ($7.25) - This seems to be Rogue Creamery's version of pimento cheese, colored orange by addition of plenty of red colored piquillo peppers. That adds a delightful mild spiciness along with a flavor that is kind of fruity and very peppery, different from pimentos. The cheese is high quality and there isn't any liquid precipitating out of the spread. It's easy to spread while still having plenty of soft cheese shreds. It's a great replacement for pimento cheese and I ate most of it spread on biscuits and baguette slices. (5/5) PS: Make sure to look at the best buy dates. The first couple of containers in the front looked kind of funky with oils/liquids precipitating out of the cheese. Turns out those were expiring/best by the day I went. Further back there were much fresher looking ones packed the previous day, which is what I chose to buy. Note: Do not follow google directions for parking - instead, the parking lot is a little bit to the South, right in front of a wine tasting bar and bakery. Bathrooms - Single unisex
