Cinnamon roll was too dense and not fluffy, loaded with cinnamon though, the savory pastry with egg was not something I would order again. They bake everything and don't fry so if you are looking for a traditional donut then you are at the wrong place. The drip coffee was good and the ambiance was very homey and nice. The display case filled with choices was really amazing looking but then when trying the pastry, it was very dense. If they tasted like they looked then this would easily be five stars. The staff was fun & good. I will try again some different items. read more

We arrived a little later in the morning on our way home to Seattle. Raspberry Lemon glazed scone is so delicious.

Real bakery Get there early since the good stuff goes fast I would highly recommend them read more

Tried this little bakery on our trips to Grantspass. We had a cinnamon roll, cream cheese turbin, and lemon and blueberry racetrack. All were delicious. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We understand they often sell out of a lot of items by 9:30, so get there early if you want to have your pick of everything they sell. read more

Yelped for donuts in Grants Pass and I literally landed in heaven! This small traditional bakery offers the full gamut of baked goods however I was looking for a dozen donuts to deliver to my customer. So I've never had a miss here. It's literally so delicious. All of the pastries I've tried have been sooooo good. The fresh bread is so yummy and the coffee hits the spot. I just ordered a bagel for the first time and you can tell the bagel is baked fresh. I have to say that was literally the best bagel of my life. So darn good ! Everyone orders the biscuits and gravy, I have yet to try it though. The service is great ! Everyone is a cool person, sweet and polite. Can't say enough good things about this place. read more

An absolute must for breakfast! We thought we were just coming to a donut shop, but oh no, they offer WAY MORE sweet and savory options. It's conveniently located downtown and has a designated parking lot. You'll be greeted with a smile and a great selection. We especially like the turbin bagels filled with delicious flavors and cream cheese. They sell out quickly, so if you want all the options, make sure you plan accordingly. Our new favorite bakery! read more

Sooooo good. The nicest staff. Love the lemon poppy seed muffin!! Small building on the corner. Easy to find.

If you don't like this place, you're a fool. This is literally my favorite bakery on the planet. Their maple bars are the absolute best. I've tried maple bars all over the country because I'm obsessed and these are the best. I would do evil things for them. All of Britney's creations are excellent. Seriously if you don't like this place.... I'll fight you. read more

Every time I travel through southern Oregon, and plan a stop here. The ladies here make amazing hand made pastries and a great Latte!

I love, love, love small town bakeries. And Heavenly Sweets is pretty much as good as it gets. The moment you walk in the door of this awesome little hole-in-the-wall hidden gem, you are greeted by two of the coolest ladies. If you're lucky, the baker is holding her newborn and you get to join in on the swooning. The ladies are happy, friendly and so accommodating (it definitely helps that they play off of my sometimes-awkward commentary... I think I'm funny... sometimes others don't). They have a pleathora of goodies just waiting to be devoured. Their bear claws are the size of a VW Beetle, their blueberry danishes are heaven, and their cinnamon nut rolls are... well... nuts. I recently used Heavenly for specialty cupcakes for a company event and they worked with me on exactly what I wanted every step of the way. They never said they couldn't do something and did whatever they could to accommodate what I envisioned. Chocolate Peanut Butter, Red Velvet, Lemon Raspberry, and Peach "Cobbler" cupcakes. Oh. My. Lanta. I'm such a fat kid. I could live under their baking counter and live off of scraps from their amazing concoctions. All this to say, in a very long-winded way (as per my usual): GO TO THERE. read more

The best blueberry muffin ever! Get there early (before 10:30) for biscuits and sausage gravy!! They are so good the sell out quickly!

I ordered 12 cupcakes for a birthday celebration. They were ready on time for pickup and looked very pretty. We all enjoyed them, very fresh, moist taste and still tasted delicious several days later. Much better than supermarket bought. read more

One of my favorite spots to satisfy my sweet tooth. I especially love to take my three children there and let them choose a pastry. I like their cinnamon rolls and their prices. Plus, they donated to my PTAs teacher appreciation breakfast--so they are awesome. Their sitting area could be cleaner. Thanks again for donating to Parkside Elementary teacher appreciation again in 2013!!! read more

Super awesome staff, always friendly! Great food, I recommend the biscuits and gravy!

Though I've only been to the bakery on three separate occasions, each time I left feeling like I should have been charged more money. Their prices are more than fair. In fact, given the quality of the offerings, I'd say the prices are a steal. One of my favorite morning treats is a plate of biscuits and sausage gravy. At Heavenly, you get more than your moneys worth. The pork sausage infused gravy is perfectly seasoned, and a welcome start to Rogue Valley's cold mornings. The quiche (made with cheddar cheese) is filling, and pairs well with any beverage. The caramel nut roll is sweet, but not cloyingly so. The chocolate scones (with chocolate chips and coconut) and the cinnamon roll are favorites though the scone is a tad dry and could do with a higher butter content. But, with coffee, both are perfect as a choice to end any meal of the day. The people are friendly and willing to take time to answer questions. The memory comes to mind of what it was like to go into my aunt's kitchen and bug her. She'd smile, answer my questions, and let us lick the bowl from time to time. The only thing missing at Heavenly is the licking the bowl thing. Oh well! Homemade, hometown baking at its best... read more

Stopped by right at opening and the bakery smelt amazing Order bagels and they were very soft and full of flavor. The homemade cream cheese is DELICIOUS- definitely recommend getting it. Only bummer was they don't ask if you want your bagel toasted so they automatically give it to you cold with the cream cheese. If you wanted it toasted you have to ask for it. read more

Used to be one of the best little places to go for baked goods and such, when previous owners had it (when it was 4th Street Deli). Now? Not so much. Had to return stale food item (borderline inedible) for refund and was met with attitude; owner needs to treat customers better. I've scratched them off my list. read more

I absolutely love this bakery. Very inviting smells! And the owner is super friendly! All the baked goods look very appetizing and are at good prices. They are freshly baked each morning. I really really really miss their 25 cent big flaky kolaczkis. Oh so tasty!! read more

Had the maple bar, made with freshly whipped maple! Good choice. Friendly morning staff. Awesome!

If great croissants, Danish and baked goods are your weakness then, to quote Brigham Young, this is the place.

Been going here since it was the 4th Street Bakery. They actually are open on Saturday now. Where do I start? They have the BEST branola muffins I've ever had! They are more like mini loaves. I get the one with the craisins and they have without too! Cinnamon roll, Sombreros with refried beans and cheese or chicken, mild green chili, and cheese, or ham and cheese...each one with filling inside a puff layered pastry. Maple bars, you name it...everything freshly baked in the morning. Prices border from reasonable to cheap! I don't know how they do it for the price!! Yummo!! read more

Wow! Just passing thru on travels. Such an unexpected surprise! Turban-to die for savory! Super fun take on a traditional bagel. Blueberry cream cheese danish-fabulous...not too sweet. Every item LOOKS so pretty! Caramel nut bread-YUM! Kids wanted to turn around and buy more to bring home! read more

While traveling in Grants pass OR we came across this wonderful bakery. Their hours are 6am-1pm M-F so get here early to take advantage of the yummy bakery items. Very cute and clean place. read more

We lived in Grants Pass for 6 years and Heavenly Sweets (aka 4th St Deli) was one of our favorite places to go. When the original owners sold it and it became "Heavenly Sweets", we were a little concerned. The new owner did a fantastic job of updating the bakery while staying true to the recipes and goods offered. We came back into town after being away for 2 years and were so excited to visit our "favorite" bakery. Unfortunately it seems as though ownership has switched hands and the quality of the treats has gone down substantially. The recipes have been tweaked (not in a good way), and are flavorless. Seriously disappointed. read more

Owner and employees are friendly and everything is so tasty! The Three Cheese Bagels are a must have. Prices are very fair.

They have some of the best bakery goods in town. And their soups are soooo good. I would highly recommend them. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. read more
