Their hot fudge machine wasn't working! This is actually the first time we ate this brand ice cream! I would have had my own ice cream, it was too expensive, and Son #2 ended up not getting any, \he changed his mind, he didn't want to get in line! Walked into this small ice cream shop and was greeted by the friendliest server. They didn't have many basic flavors, only one I saw was vanilla. So, might not be great spot for those who want the classics. However, the scoops were HUGE! Like, I've never seen scoops that big. They also do half and half scoop for those indecisive people like myself. I was sooo excited! I tried the maple nut and coconut cream, delicious! One scoop was $5 and they serve Umpqua ice cream. I had the black walnut, they had the cookie dough, and Jacksonville. The young lady present was very nice and provided us with great service. The space was beautifully decorated, full of eye candy (literally, lol), clean, and inviting. We enjoyed our creamy and flavorful sweet treats! The cones were tasty as well. Great flavor on the meat. For me it's all about that first bite and how does it taste. Scoops meat is excellent. The fries were good, but I wished they weren't cook as well as I got. I prefer a lighter cook on my fries. It was a big serving. The service was great and very friendly. I wished I had had room for a milkshake. I will definitely eat at Scoops again.
