You might be, but Visions of Wonderland is a tucked away corner of one of the three buildings on the corner lot there. Essentially, pull in like you are going to Squeeze-In Sandwich shop and drive around the building to the back. Tucked in the corner you will find Visions! Tika has a great attitude, a fun style, serves up coffee, tea and sometimes a sweet snack. You can bring your own beverages and snacks, as well. Tika is patient and talks the class easily through the painting, even challenging ones! I've been following Visions of Wonderland on Facebook for the last few months, and I love how Tika keeps it interesting, promotes the different classes, for kids, different media and she also takes suggestions for new ideas! The "adult" grilled cheese sandwiches, my favorite is the Batman (Bacon, Avocado, & Tomato), are great. They have a wide variety of ice cream flavors. While there you can paint any number of figures, dishes or bowls which will be cooked in a kiln. They also offer a glass making class. You can rent out the entire place for a party. After scanning some yelp reviews, I stumbled upon this place. I walked in and was welcomed with such warmth that I knew I had hit the jackpot. So much so, I spent every single lunch at Nature's Kitchen. The owners, Flannery and Patty (and a special shout out to Cliff) are absolutely exceptional human beings. They are so kind, so lovely, and just radiate love. The food is delicious - HIGHLY RECOMMEND the bacon jalapeno quiche - and everything is homemade, even the dressings! My favorite combo of the week was the bacon jalapeno quiche, a side salad with their homemade balsamic, some chips, and a chocolate chip cookie! To say I was sad to leave Yreka because I would miss out on the best welcoming committee to date, is an understatement. But I am so happy that a place like this exists to warm the heart and feed the belly. Thank you Flannery & crew, I miss you so!

Some only care for their time/money, and some only care about their own creative styles. Sky is a bit extraordinary in that regard. We hired her to shoot our engagement session in Burney Falls. She took the time to understand our needs and wants. She has a pleasant demeanor about her and really knows how to work with couples to get those amazing moments you didn't were possible for you. She also took the time to drive up to Burney Falls to do a sample photo shoot, before we drove up there (5 hour drive). Her rates are reasonable, she's awesome, and we are looking forward to working with her in future. What are you waiting for? Hire her already!
