My first time at Scoops but it's a favorite of my sister and brother in law who live here. I ordered the single smash western bacon Cheeseburger, medium size fries and a drink. The squishy bun and smashed burger was excellent. I'm not a big fan of onion rings, but these were the best I've tasted. Crunchy, thick coating that didn't slip off when you bit into it. Great flavor on the meat. For me it's all about that first bite and how does it taste. Scoops meat is excellent. The fries were good, but I wished they weren't cook as well as I got. I prefer a lighter cook on my fries. It was a big serving. The service was great and very friendly. I wished I had had room for a milkshake. I will definitely eat at Scoops again. Love the burgers here. Made fresh to order, can't decide between the bacon or mushroom swiss...today the latter won & it was delicious. The grilled onions are perfect, caramelized just right. With a side of rings, I don't have room for dessert unless I get it to go & save it for later. The portions are great! Had the best experience with the food and staff today. My child has a corn allergy and the staff member searched far and wide to make sure he could get something sweet to eat with the rest of our group. I want to give this place 5 stars ASAP, but their vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are strictly limited, so I can't do it quite yet... Such a cute little ice cream place! They had more Flavors than I expected and so many toppings to choose from. It looks like they plan on adding some additional food items to the menu as well. Fries are extra and would fit into a 1/2 cup serving. The chili was brown water with some chunks of beef and some beans. Had a weird flavor. The po boy came on a 6" roll with a bunch of shredded lettuce, some tomato and rock hard over cooked popcorn shrimp. Service was sloooow. I waited 45 minutes and then received everything at one time. Chili was barely warm, fries were soggy and had no flavor. I said enough already about the po boy. Rhe cost was 28.80. The place was clean but uninspiring in decor. I sat in front of a painted full size Bigfoot in black paint holding a burger. I heard the burgers were really good, so I might give them a second chance with a burger order and onion rings. First let me start by saying there's a super nice guy behind the counter. Was surprised by the amount of food on the menu in this cute little stop. I was crazy hungry and thought I'd give this place a try. Looked cute from the outside right off the 99. I ordered the French bread pizza and some ice cream to go. Yeah, was one of those kinda days. However, while I waited for my pizza and took a couple bites of my ice cream, I pulled out a long medal wire. So that kinda grossed me out. Then as I was looking around, man this place needs a serious scrub down. Like please at least clean the floors and the bathroom. It makes your mind start to really wonder about the quality and cleanliness of the food, and I was pretty hungry and could eat a hippo. Ok, so then I got the French bread pizza and left. I'm not sure what was up with the sauce but I had a strange taste in my mouth for hours. The cheese wasn't real mozzarella. All in all it filled me up because I was crazy hungry, but I felt kinda icky afterward. Now, I should mention that a guy that showed up had ordered a Philly cheesesteak and said they're amazing. A very nice Surprise! They have so much more than just ice cream! Burgers, subs, salads, pizza, soup/chili and more! The two guys that were working when I dropped by very hospitable and friendly. OMG! We are so glad they opened back up after the Covid crisis. We were one of the first to order our take-out order when they re-opened. I think they will have dine in service again soon but for now, it is great take home food. We love, love, love their smashed cheeseburgers. Let me tell you, I tried to duplicate these during the lock down but didn't even come close - they have the magic touch. We rotate between fries, tots and onion rings with our cheeseburgers --- all are tasty. We try not to get ice cream TOO much from there (they are close to where we live so could be dangerous for our waistlines) but hubby loves their chocolate malts - one of the few places around where you can actually get a malt!
