Best shrimp tacos in the northwest! Shrimp & Shrimp n Carne Asada. Both crispy fried!
    Dan W.

Hands down, the best shrimp tacos I've ever had--period, end of story. If you're anywhere near Grants Pass, Oregon, you need to get here now. The horchata is handmade from scratch and absolutely delicious. The owner is incredibly hospitable, making this stop even more worthwhile. The red tacos are next level--crispy, flavorful, and packed with goodness. Add in fresh chips, a salsa bar, and homemade beans, and you've got yourself a meal that's hard to beat. This was a fantastic stop for us on our latest trip, and I can't wait to return. 5 stars for me, no question. Well done, and thank you for the amazing experience!

This place was phenomenal!!! Best place we'd all been to in some time! Very friendly owners, clean, amazing food, and their green chile sauce was amazing! I loved The shrimp tacos, the beans, the margaritas, and everything is made fresh and to order! We all loved this place so much we went back there again on our way home from camping! Such good food and the owners are clearly passionate about what they are doing! A "must" stop!!

Nachos, shrimp taco, chile reano, salsa bar

Delicious :) The chile reano and shrimp tacos were good but the nachos were the real star of the show. Bountiful pollo, carne asada and shrimp cooked perfectly on delicious homemade chips. Super impressive! I'm so glad we stopped by here. Affordable and FRESH!

Welcomed by the joyful Renee. I had three shrimp tacos, crispy recommended by Renee....the best tacos I have ever had bar none!. My wife had a delishious chicken and shrimp burrito it was massive to boot. We will be coming back again and again!

Run, don't walk to Tijuana Birria. The crispy corn Birria tacos with cheese are absolutely amazing and easily the best Birria I've ever had. I can't speak to the rest of the menu because they're so good and I keep coming back for the same thing. The restaurant is also clean with nice tables and a good atmosphere. Your food is ready quickly and tastes very fresh. What a gem of a place in Grants Pass.

Dusted with grated chocolate, it was so rich and creamy, had this subtle caramel-like tone, and yet the passionfruit powered through. Every bite was a true delight. If you are a passionfruit fan you will want to lick the container so you don't miss a morsel. I did not, but definitely wanted to! God had a plan...Visit The Jelly Donut! I walked in to this smaller, unassuming shop and quickly realized this place is for real! I was tempted by the usual suspects, like the cream-filled eclairs, but the super-sized apple fritter caught my eye, so I jumped on it. Thinking this measly $4 investment would sustain me for many miles of travail, I gobbled it down within a few blocks of the shop. AMAZING! Highly recommend The Jelly Donut! Have been to Steam Distillery now on multiple occasions since they opened and continue to hope that service time will improve. The Lemongrass Collins is my absolute favorite cocktail on their menu, its just unfortunate that the service is extremely slow. There is typically only 1 or 2 employees handling the entire space and since the drinks are all crafted, between waiting to get your order taken and then waiting for the drinks to arrive, you're looking at 15 to 20 minutes. For the first time of these visits, we made reservations for the now reservation only Sunday menu. Reservation was at 4 and you had to place your order at the time of making your reservation days ahead. We didnt get our meals until 445. While the menu and presentation were amazing, the taste was not there. Lobster was very overcooked and lacked flavor in the seasoning, prime rib cut was impressive at 16oz but was cooked perfect and thankfully was served with some type of horseradish cream. The potatoes were stated as being a mashed potatoe type but we're not a mash in my opinion at all. It was a half super chunky scoop with the sour cream and butter kind of hidden in the middle.

The food (my brisket taco) and my wife's shrimp tacos, were just incredibly delicious AND good-sized. I've had Brisket in Texas and in Tennessee, and this brisket was seriously the best of them all that I've had before. We'd been looking for just the right spot to have a 30th wedding anniversary dinner. One local place (by the river) has great food but can't seem to get a ribeye right. The other with a NewYork motif, served me a hideous ribeye a few months ago...so we wanted something else. KING on food, and ambiance secondary. Don't let Steam Distillery fool you- the causal steampunk- meets-British Pub vibe is not a ragged presentation, but a carefully crafted and executed place to sit and relax. SO laid back; and in a very special way, feels like home. We contaced April (That One Place Owner) to get some details before we came down, she's such a loving 'people person', and it shows not just in her demeanor, but the genuine care & love imbued into the dishes she serves. Three days after our recon visit, my wife and returned on 10/19 to celebrate our 30th anniversary few days early. Steak (Ribeye) and Lobster is what we both ordered. THE BEST RIBEYE STEAKS we've had in Grants Pass, right here, and BY a WIDE MARGIN!!!! The Lobster was sweet, and the twice-baked potatoes were stupendously delish. Will we be back? ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME. (??) MY wife told he she's quitting cooking on Sundays so we can come here. The patrons- good, salt of the earth, local folks who are very gregarious without being too much so- we had table o Casey was an attentive huge blessing serving at our table, we lacked for NOTHING. Jess behind the bar was awesome. My wife loved her Rogue Roasters Espresso Martini. Just over the top. And... April managed to come out of the kitchen so we could meet here in person- hugs for everyone. What a blessing she is, and she and her husband have an INCREDIBLE thing going here. DON'T MISS IT!!! The food they serve truly reflects not only the quality of the food itself, but more importantly the care and talent of the owners and kitchen staff. Celebrating a 30th wedding anniversary IN A PUB? Lol, with Steam Distillery & resident kitchen 'That One Place' serving the food they do, we wouldn't have it any other way. I'll post a pic of my wife's Shrimp tacos, and my Steak & lobster plate to get you salivating....it's the least I can do.
