    Two pork and cheese Pupusas.
    John E.

Pupusas in Medford!! Another little Taco Truck on Riverside tucked away between a pawnshop and a motel. This taco truck however differs from the rest. Mostly because they don't do tacos. They do Papoosa's and they do quesadilla. That is all. I had a couple of the pork cheese pupusas with the slaw and sauce. The pupusas were crispy and tender and juicy and delicious! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different. The menu is small, but if it is pupusas you want, then you need to stop here!

3.6 stars for PM... It was pretty good, but I wasn't overly impressed... The popusas were good because they were different than your traditional Mexican food you typically get everywhere... They were served piping hot, with a crisp exterior and soft interior... The filling had good flavor and the accompanied slaw was fresh and cool, a nice contrast to the semi-fried popusas... Here's the draw back, they were kind of bland... They needed salt... The homemade hot sauces were the same way, good base flavor but lacked punch... We tracked them down at the Saturday swap meet on the Medford & Phoenix border... They work out of a good cart, so they set up a tent with plastic tables and chairs... Each popusas were $2.50 each which was a reasonable price... Bottom line, if you're looking for Mexican food that offers something different, then check this place out... ***Eat Local***

The restaurant was clean, and the female staff member who helped us was friendly and upbeat. At first, we were given the regular menu with no happy hour listed, but when we asked, she promptly brought us the happy hour menu. Happy hour is available Tuesday-Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. I ordered a Mojito, and watching it being made was a bit amusing--the bartender shook the cocktail shaker very slowly. It lacked the usual bar energy, giving the place a more casual feel. For food, I had two asada street tacos, which were simple and easy to eat but fairly average in flavor. My husband ordered the Chile Relleno, which was very cheesy and a bit too rich for his taste. Overall, the service was pleasant and the happy hour makes it a convenient stop, but the food didn't quite stand out.

You enter & are properly greeted with a welcoming smile & pleasantries, seated & then swiftly graced with warm, crispy tortilla chips with warm frijole dip & salsa. All of it delicious & with refills !!! We were doubly pleased they serve Corona NA.! My partner ordered the seafood chimichanga & I ordered the chicken asada. It arrived in perfect time & looked most appealing. The tastes for both of our different menu selections were delicious. My favorite aspect was the fact that the dishes were not overpowered with salt or grease that is often the case in many Mexican restaurants. The flavors were balanced & the meat tender...... nothing was burnt passing for " caramelized " food. As a foodie & excellent cook myself , I was very happy with this meal. Deliciousness, ambiance, & awesome senor servers with a singing cooking staff!! If your chefs are happy, that stands for a lot!!! Right?! We loved finding this gem of a place & it felt comfortable & "just right" on our road trip. My only complaint: they are not located in our town!!!! You will love it here... plenty of menu options.... we went early on Sunday which probably helped ( no crowded frenzy to deal with).
