Old building, spotless! Authentic and unique to the area menu items! Corn tortillas made to order on El Machino. Beer, horchata, Jamaica, soda. Meat broken down in house. Marinades to dream of, friendly staff, amazing mural tables/ chairs. I can't WAIT to go back. Salsa bar with amazing Habanero salsa and variety of condiments including deep fried jalapeños and picked carrots...... Great! Now I'm hungry!

We really enjoy coming here the staff is always nice and welcoming the food hot and the portions are ample enough for 2 meals. Our favorite so far is the Carne Asada Chimichanga Plate we actually haven't deviated from that plate yet. Hot sauce bar is amazing and they also provide chips and salsa while you wait for your plate. The decor is simple and flows throughout the restaurant. We like to come eat at least every month or so we recommend checking it out.

WOW! and YUM!!! Sunday a friend and I ordered a few dishes from Los Tres Potrillos and couldnt be more impressed with our food. I had pork burrito, Super Nachos and my friend had Cabeza burrito a 4 of the tiny tacos. We also selected a few salsas flavors and jalapenos from the salsa bar. I added a pic of this red one, I fell in love with!! They should bottle and sell it! Yumm! Jalapenos were smoky grilled and fantastic. My pork burrito was so good I ate till my stomach almost burst, just the right amount of meat, rice, onions and flavor....sooo GOOD! We each tried one anothers food and both agreed this place is a 5 and will be returning to try more. Only other comment is I wish there were a menu on line to view as I forgot to get a take out when I was there, love to know what the specialty dishes are.

This place is overrated. I got 4 asada tacos today that were so mediocre and boring. Good salsa bar though

Just okay. Nothing to get excited about. Have to order at the counter and look at the menu on the wall. We rather sit and be waited on.

Had a wonderful experience at my first time eating at Lucy's Taco Shop! I ate in their spotless…read moredining area (the restroom was immaculate too). They have a huge menu on display. There are 27 combo plates that include rice and refried beans. Most are bargain priced at $14.25 (only three were $17 for shrimp). I had a burrito bowl with carnitas. It was very tasty with a large portion of pork, pico de gallo, rice, refried beans, guacamole and sour cream topped with shredded lettuce and cheese. It was a lot to eat for $13. Portions are substantial and most patrons left with a box to take the remainder of their meals home. They have long hours from 7 am to 11 pm seven days a week. I noticed that they have an extensive breakfast menu too. Delivery of the food was very fast both for the dining in and drive-thru customers. One thing to note about their location. They're in the former Jack in the Box building on the corner of Cheryl Lane and Highway 99 across from the vacant Ray's Food Place in Phoenix. If you're driving from the south on Highway 99 you cannot cross the median to drive into the restaurant. You need to turn left at the light into the Ray's parking lot (or drive straight at the light into Ray's if coming from I-5), turn right and cross Cheryl Lane to get into their parking area or turn into the drive-thru for Lucy's Taco Shop. Leaving is back through the parking area to Cheryl Lane. Phoenix has a confusing interchange to get onto I-5. When you're leaving. drive past the Chevron station to turn left by the former Rite Aid to head towards the freeway entrances. Join Highway 99 in either direction from the light coming out of Ray's parking lot. It's worth the driving logistics the first time to get to Lucy's Taco Shop to support this family owned business. I know it won't be the last time I eat there!

We've been stuck on the East Coast for 15 years and I legit almost cried after my first bite of tamale - it tasted like home. Pro tip: get the half order of nachos unless you're trying to go into a food coma. We still crushed every last chip and were absolutely stuffed, but there was no way we were letting any of it go to waste.

I'm really glad I listened to all the good reviews here on Yelp. Cocorico is a great restaurant. I…read morewas able to score a reservation for dinner about a week before we traveled to Ashland. Our table was in their patio space, which I actually like better than the indoor part of the restaurant. The patio space feels very open and has a lot of live plants in the planters that make space between tables. It was a little warm on the patio since it was 98 degrees outside, but they keep it relatively cool on this mostly enclosed patio. Our server was great. She was so friendly and fun to talk to. She helped us figure out what we wanted to order and checked in on us just the right amount. You can tell the food here is very fresh and homemade. We started with the Deviled Eggs, which are really special. I love how they serve them over a bed of crushed up potato chips as they give this dish some salty crunch. Next we had the Beet salad, which is marinated beets over a whipped cheese. The beets do have a strong vinegar flavor, but it's balanced out beautifully by the cheese. My wife ordered the Mushroom Bolognese, which was probably the best dish of the evening. This is an incredible, vegetarian dish that is so meaty without any meat. The finely diced mushroom sauce is so good along with the handmade noodles. Also, adding burrata to it gives it a perfect creaminess. I ordered the pork chop, which was also excellent and enormous. It did take me a lot longer to eat since it was a little hard to cut, the compote on top added a great sweetness, but I feel like it could've used more. Also, the polenta and grilled asparagus was awesome. Lastly, we got the Rice Pudding for dessert. It comes with a hazelnut crumble and a dolce de leche sauce. Normally, I feel like rice pudding has a kind of thin, milky consistency, but not this. It is think and has a wonderful texture. It is probably the best rice pudding I've ever had. The nuts give a satisfying crunch and the dolce de leche sauce is light and sweet. Disclaimer: we did order one dish we really didn't like. It was a special salad with endives and lentils. The server was happy to get us another dish.

The food here is great! A little pricey, but definitely worth the price for the quality. The salads…read moreare fresh and creative, and the main courses are well-made and delicious. The pear dessert was so good! The atmosphere is cozy, cute, and a little tipsy--such a fun vibe. The service was also great. Definitely a lovely place for a good meal and a relaxing time!
