    Tri tip hash
    Kat S.

I came here for a weekend brunch. I ordered the tri tip hash. The meat was well done. The potatoes and few pieces of spinach were very oily. It would have been a nice meal if it were less oily. I forgot to take a pic when I started eating, this is what I couldn't finish. Portions were very large. My friend got the scramble with bacon. The server forgot the bacon and didn't check in with us after she noticed it was missing. The place is well adorned with decent seating and a lot of flies.

We stopped in for lunch on a weekday. The server was pleasant and prompt. The restaurant seems to be part of a larger operation with a gift shop and boating on offer in the same space. We tried a cocktail each and they were well balanced. I'm a sucker for biscuits and gravy but the ones I ordered were more dense than I enjoy and not flaky. I asked to replace the side of potatoes with fries. The fries were good. My spouse went for the grilled cheese sandwich and the French Onion soup. The sandwich looked amazing with a cheese lace on top but the other side was very oily. I also had the unfortunate experience of being seated in a location where I could overhear the cook? talking with the server. It seemed he was complaining that because it was on the menu they had to honor the substitution For Free. My fries? Who knows. Anyway, that and his other comments weren't great to overhear. I doubt we'll visit again.

Food 5/5 Service 4/5 Value 5/5 Ok, so this place is awesome. Quality ingredients and excellent execution and care. Great potential and being that it's new I have high hopes it'll pan out. We had the salmon hash and classic Benedict. The hash was excellent. A variety of potatoes, asparagus, Bernese sauce and a large FRESHLY prepared piece of salmon. Emphasis on the freshly prepared salmon! Not some dry prepped piece, but cooked to order and it shows. Very good and large enough to be shared by two. The classic Benedict was literally one of, if not, the best Benedict's I've ever had. The meat is a thick slice of pork loin that's fresh and seasoned with a touch of sweetness. It pairs very well with the homemade English muffin that is crispy and chewy and sweet and a perfect vessel for the awesome homemade hollandaise sauce. Very legit and very good. Worth nothing that the often overlooked "fruit salad" that came with this also excellent, freshly prepared and was way better than most "fruit salads" served at most places. Awesome! Ambience was casual. Service was good, although a bit slow but they're figuring things out. Overall an awesome hidden gem with tons of potential and and amazing value. We'll be back and can't wait to sample the dinner menu. Try it, You'll love it!

Beef tenderloin hash with three decent sized pieces of filet, potatoes, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, a fried egg and hollandaise sauce.

Just enjoyed a delicious brunch at Ajace with my girlfriend/neighbor. We both ordered the beef tenderloin hash and we were not disappointed. There were three decent sized pieces of filet atop potatoes, onions, mushrooms and bell peppers. On top of this was a fried egg and hollandaise sauce. Neither of us had any complaints about taste/portion size or presentation. It was great. Before the main act we shared a large lemon bar because we were craving something sweet to go with the excellent coffee. This was my second visit, and today's meal was as good as the cheeseburger I had last time. Which for those of you who look for good burgers - Ajace has one! Server was friendly and atmosphere is nice with the bubbling brook and Shop at River Rock staged for Christmas. Ajace is a welcome addition to the Grants Pass food scene.

I have visited this place twice for lunch and once for breakfast in the past month. An unbelievable food experience each time. This is definitely not fast food. Each plate that comes out is a visual and tasteful delite. Credit going to a very talented kitchen staff. Twon is a two-legged encyclopedia of cuisine and drinks. He will let you know how the food is freshly bought and prepared using locally. A true gem in our little town.

Such a cute place to enjoy a meal! Had the avocado toast-super yum! And the roasted potatoes with garlic aioli was double yum!

What an amazing experience at DASSH Bakery in Grants Pass!…read more From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the owners, a husband-and-wife team who clearly pour their hearts into this bakery. Everything is made fresh, and you can absolutely taste the difference. We ordered the Local Bagel, and it was phenomenal. It had bacon, aioli, and a variety of fresh ingredients that came together perfectly. I honestly can't remember everything that was on it because I was too busy enjoying it! The bagel itself was fresh-made and absolutely delicious. We also tried the ham bagel sandwich with cheddar, ham, and honey mustard, and it was just as fantastic. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. For a sweet treat, we had the blueberry scone, and it was perfection--flavorful, tender, and clearly made from scratch. Their coffee menu is impressive as well. They can make just about any latte you want and offer a great selection of syrups, including cookie butter, vanilla, lavender, and many more. They also have plenty of milk options, including oat milk, almond milk, whole milk, and regular milk. The bakery itself was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very inviting. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with outdoor seating available, including two two-top tables and a larger six-top table, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your food and coffee. The service was impeccable. Since the bakery is run by the owners themselves, things may take a little longer during busy times, but that wasn't an issue at all for us. The care, attention, and quality they put into every order are well worth the wait. If you're in Grants Pass, DASSH Bakery is an absolute must-visit. Fresh-made food, outstanding coffee, a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and wonderful owners who truly care about their customers. Easily a five-star experience, and we'll definitely be back! Excuse the photos I got to excited to eat and then forgot to take photos ...

I ordered an egg sandwich of some sort, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The bread that they make at this bakery, IS TO DIE FOR. It was salty, crunch, and so tasty. I'll be sure to stop again anytime I drive through Grants Pass. This is a little spot you don't want to pass up.

5 stars decor, vibe and music 4 stars for steam distillery…read moretasty drinks 3 stars for super slow service and 3 stars food from That One Place. Have been to Steam Distillery now on multiple occasions since they opened and continue to hope that service time will improve. The Lemongrass Collins is my absolute favorite cocktail on their menu, its just unfortunate that the service is extremely slow. There is typically only 1 or 2 employees handling the entire space and since the drinks are all crafted, between waiting to get your order taken and then waiting for the drinks to arrive, you're looking at 15 to 20 minutes. For the first time of these visits, we made reservations for the now reservation only Sunday menu. Reservation was at 4 and you had to place your order at the time of making your reservation days ahead. We didnt get our meals until 445. While the menu and presentation were amazing, the taste was not there. Lobster was very overcooked and lacked flavor in the seasoning, prime rib cut was impressive at 16oz but was cooked perfect and thankfully was served with some type of horseradish cream. The potatoes were stated as being a mashed potatoe type but we're not a mash in my opinion at all. It was a half super chunky scoop with the sour cream and butter kind of hidden in the middle.

My wife had come across some chat and pics from the resident restaurant here "That One Place" and…read moreso we searched it out- actually our first visit was last week right after we left the gym...lol, just wanted to take a peek inside, but the atmosphere and people were so inviting, we took a table for a quick bite. The food (my brisket taco) and my wife's shrimp tacos, were just incredibly delicious AND good-sized. I've had Brisket in Texas and in Tennessee, and this brisket was seriously the best of them all that I've had before. We'd been looking for just the right spot to have a 30th wedding anniversary dinner. One local place (by the river) has great food but can't seem to get a ribeye right. The other with a NewYork motif, served me a hideous ribeye a few months ago...so we wanted something else. KING on food, and ambiance secondary. Don't let Steam Distillery fool you- the causal steampunk- meets-British Pub vibe is not a ragged presentation, but a carefully crafted and executed place to sit and relax. SO laid back; and in a very special way, feels like home. We contaced April (That One Place Owner) to get some details before we came down, she's such a loving 'people person', and it shows not just in her demeanor, but the genuine care & love imbued into the dishes she serves. Three days after our recon visit, my wife and returned on 10/19 to celebrate our 30th anniversary few days early. Steak (Ribeye) and Lobster is what we both ordered. THE BEST RIBEYE STEAKS we've had in Grants Pass, right here, and BY a WIDE MARGIN!!!! The Lobster was sweet, and the twice-baked potatoes were stupendously delish. Will we be back? ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME. (??) MY wife told he she's quitting cooking on Sundays so we can come here. The patrons- good, salt of the earth, local folks who are very gregarious without being too much so- we had table o Casey was an attentive huge blessing serving at our table, we lacked for NOTHING. Jess behind the bar was awesome. My wife loved her Rogue Roasters Espresso Martini. Just over the top. And... April managed to come out of the kitchen so we could meet here in person- hugs for everyone. What a blessing she is, and she and her husband have an INCREDIBLE thing going here. DON'T MISS IT!!! The food they serve truly reflects not only the quality of the food itself, but more importantly the care and talent of the owners and kitchen staff. Celebrating a 30th wedding anniversary IN A PUB? Lol, with Steam Distillery & resident kitchen 'That One Place' serving the food they do, we wouldn't have it any other way. I'll post a pic of my wife's Shrimp tacos, and my Steak & lobster plate to get you salivating....it's the least I can do.
