The food was delicious. Steak was very tender and cooked exactly how I asked for it to be. My wife enjoyed her salad as well, very tasty. My only complaint is the live music, while the music selection was great it was just too loud, even with twenty or so people in there eating and conversing. I had to ask my waiter two or three times to repeat himself. I'll definitely be coming back though.

This is a classic! Take friends and family here for a great steak,it's that simple. It's not fancy with a traditional menu. Just like the one mom and dad took you to. We had ribeye and a slightly fancier eye of ribeye all cooked to our perfect temperature! All at significantly less $$ than a downtown steakhouse! See you there!

Arrived at 5:18 and we're only offered bar seats. Fast forward no one was still at the tables we would have loved to be offed when we left. Wasn't really feeling the hospitality initially. We ordered the Bruschetta; tomato's were fresh.. bread not so much. Caesar was ok. Then out came the chargrilled ribeye cooked to a perfect medium rare with mashed potato's and green beans. There was an outstanding char on the steak. It was absolutely worth bar seat's plus our bartender was super nice. We will be back to sample the prime rib for sure. Based on being made to eat at the bar we will defiantly try to call ahead next time to be sat at a proper table to spread out and enjoy dinner. Thank you for having us.

I enjoyed the ambiance of The Steakhouse. My friend I split the Ribeye and Salmon! We enjoyed both entrees and the service! The meals were well prepared, hot and tasty! I would definitely return!

Located between a burger place and a BBQ restaurant, The Steakhouse can be accused of hiding in plain sight in this unassuming strip mall. On the night of my visit, they offered a choice of three steaks (filet, ribeye and sirloin) with all the trimmings (choice of salad and side items) for under thirty dollars. We dined here on a Saturday night and were welcomed with the wonderful live music of guitarist Annie Allman. Service was impeccable, and I ordered the fourteen ounce ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted corn. The steak was cooked perfectly, and seasoning on all of the items was amazing with no need to add any salt or pepper. Without a doubt, this steakhouse ranks in the top two of all I have ever visited. The are closed on Monday and Tuesday, and reservations are highly encouraged. The meal was amazing and I look forward to many return visits in the future.

The Steakhouse is a well kept Savannah secret - until now. It's hidden by the fact it's in a well worn, unassuming strip shopping center. Last Thursday, we arrived at opening time, and The Steakhouse was already booked for the evening. Upon arrival tonight, at 5:00 pm, only bar seating was available. This unadvertised restaurant opened about a year ago, it's a small restaurant and Covid social distancing is respected. Another highlight of The Steakhouse is the live entertainment. Annie Allman plays here Thursday - Saturday, 6-9, and each Thursday is wine tasting night. Make reservations! I was thrilled to see they had several Manhattan cocktail choices. I said "yes, please" to the Woodford Reserve, Cherry Street Manhattan. Cheers! The three steak entrees here include a choice of salad, potato, and vegetable. My filet was seasoned and cooked perfectly medium as requested, $26.95. The House salad with balsamic was fresh and crisp, and the add on request of crumbled blue cheese - no problem! The mashed potatoes were delicious, and the fresh, vibrant green beans were cooked crisp tender. We will return!

Are you looking for a great meal away from all the bustling of downtown Savannah? Take the drive which is a quick 20 minutes from downtown Savannah and don't be taken aback to discover that the place is located in a small strip mall. Sometimes they have live music and other events such as wine tastings. The service is attentive, the wine prices are unbelievably reasonable, and the food is very good and flavorful. Menu is not a long laundry list of options rather they offer reduced options that they do well especially their steaks. One point to note is that they close early.

Avoid the steaks, the 14 ounce ribeye appeared to be about the thickness of a breakfast steak, at best a 10 ounce steak.

We had the best service from the bartender at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready to our server - who was full of recommendations and suggestions. We had a little bit of everything, sharing the crab cakes, mac and cheese poppers, she crab soup, spring rolls. For our main course, we had the salmon and the pork tenderloin. Everything was full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. We wish we would have had room for dessert, but our dinner was too filling. This is the perfect place and we will be back!

It was dimly lit and had a warm, inviting atmosphere and our server was awesome! To start, we all got the cucumber blossom cocktail. I got mine with tequila and the server was very knowledgeable about the drinks and the liquors that would work well with each one. We decided the best route for us was to split 2 apps and 2 entrees. For appetizers, we went with the focaccia and the crispy brussel sprouts. Both were AMAZING! I always love bread to start a meal. And the Brussels were nice and soaked in balsamic glaze, which maybe diminished the "crispy" in the title... but I didn't mind because they were delicious. For our entrees, we went with the gnocchi and the catfish served over grits. I would say the standout was the catfish. The gnocchi was good, but not as good as the other dishes we had. Overall we had a great experience splurging a bit on a nice meal. I would definitely recommend getting a reservation on the weekends. They seemed to be busy!

Been here for both dinner and lunch. All this said, I think my approach to this review is comprehensive. With regard to food, I think they have a decent (not expansive) selection of food, which I think lends itself to quality. They do most things really well. This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.

The main reason I specifically went to Vic's was for the She Crab Soup I was told I had to try. I ordered that and a salad. It was hot and hot soup didn't sound the best but it was delicous, just as it was promised to be. The salad was light and helped cool down the heat of the day. The refund came through exactly as he said it would. To be clear, the food on my visit genuinely missed, and I'm not pretending otherwise. But Tyler responded publicly, owned it, and followed through completely. That kind of accountability is rare, and it's what earned the bump. Credit where it's due on the space, too -- the ambiance is genuinely great. Warm, candle-lit dining room, an open kitchen, a well-stocked bar, and a covered patio that had a real buzz to it. It's a spot that looks and feels like somewhere you want to be, which is exactly why I'd give the kitchen another shot based on how the owner runs this place. --- Original review (2 stars): Disappointing birthday dinner. Came in for my birthday and left underwhelmed. Our server Troy was the one bright spot -- professional and attentive all night. Caesar salad: Several bitter pieces of lettuce, and no black pepper offered or available. Faroe Island salmon: Overly buttery like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The shishito cream sauce was way too acidic -- tasted like uncooked wine or vinegar. Crispy rice cakes were bland and a strange pairing (rice blocks with salmon?). The baby bok choy was decent until the sauce drowned it out. Braised beef short rib: Tender but flavorless. The mashed potatoes tasted old, not fresh that evening. To top it off, my wife had arranged ahead of time for the birthday dessert to be brought out -- the message never reached Troy, so that moment never happened. Troy deserved better than what the kitchen sent out.
