It's refreshing to have a salad that's topped with delicious, healthy, homemade salads (chicken, shrimp, egg or tuna), and not something breaded and fried. I was also happy to see products carried in the market that are keto friendly and gluten free. Cute array of items - homemade treats for your pup; frozen and fresh prepackaged products - vegan, vegetarian, meat and fish. I had a fresh greens salad topped with shrimp salad and avocado and was just what I needed after a full day of travel.

So I enjoyed the brown rice warm, the edamame was perfect, but I didn't like the tuna warm... and it tasted smoked... I like tuna just seared so that the center is still cool. That is my preference, others may like it all warm. As I was leaving I decided to take with me the carrot ball's rolled in coconut flakes and the oat/chocolate/bar. Now that bar was yummy... very filling. I also like the carrot balls, although I would prefer unsweetened coconut flakes... more natural and no processed sugar in it.

I could smell the delicious variety of food from the buffet booth, but what I thought I wanted was changed when I heard about the hungry vegan platter that came with a side of cauliflower. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing it really compliments how liberty Street in Abercorn Street the corner. It's really busy, but it's so serene and quiet. I'm sitting out here as I am writing this enjoying my pastry from the two empanada combo that they have. So the two empanada combo comes with two empanadas, of course of your choice a drink and a homemade pastry. You can also have a choice of specialty drinks for an up charge of three dollars so you can sacrifice one empanada for a specialty drink homemade and I'll add up to the same price of the three empanadas combo. Personally, I tried the chicken and cheese and the beef and cheese. Both of these were absolutely phenomenal, nice and hot freshly made.... The cheese was wonderfully paired with the meat and flavor. My choice of drink was their Arnold Palmer both homemade. Their lemonade has grated ginger and mint in it and paired with the tea. It's a very refreshing drink. My choice of pastry honestly I'd let the owner suggest one to you. The owner himself is the barista, he works and he takes your order and I find that so charming and that's why I think this place is a five star without a doubt so lovely, so charming, very vibrant, and full of life. If you're looking for somewhere with full of life, full of enthusiasm, and full of intention this is the perfect spot for a solo date. P.S. This man didn't lie when he says it made with lots of love.

Donna's Delicious Delights, the name says it all :)…read more I love the staff here they treat you like family every time I walk through the front door. This is a small Black Family Owned Business. You walk in and to the right there is a food case where you order your meal. There is a variety of different soul food items each day, so you may want to call ahead of time if you're looking for a certain item. The day I was there I ordered the Lasagna, it was simply the most delicious Lasagna I've ever had. Although it did not taste like it was made in Italy, It tasted like mama made it. It was seasoned to perfection and enough to share, although I did not share. My sides were good too. The Mac and Cheese is the show stopper on every plate, make sure to try it. They also offer some of the best cupcakes my favorite is the key lime cupcake, they offer it with or without nuts. I like mine without nuts. I've also tried their red velvet cupcake and that come with or without nuts. That's my daughter's favorite flavor. Oh and the cakes, I don't think I've ever seen so many in one place before. The cakes are displayed like royalty in the cutest covered cake dishes. Looks like about ten are out on display all the time. The cakes are beautiful, some look too pretty to cut :) my favorite dessert is the mini sweet potato pies, I come in all the time ordering them. There is something here for everyone. I'm so happy a friend told us about Donna's Delicious Delights. they are closed on Monday's, and also the weekends.
