The Stand is awesome! The Chicken Teriyaki Bowl and Chicken Club Sandwich are both seriously delicious. Plus, Mike is super cool and makes ordering a piece of cake. Definitely a great spot! Great addition to Santee. read more

Great customer service Mike helped me out! loved the ambiance inside of the store. The food also sounds like it's gonna be amazing!

The service and food were amazing! Their chef Renato even offered a side sauce for my chicken teriyaki bowl. I will definitely be back to try a burger and beer! read more

Mike was amazing. The food is great and the service is unmatchable. Very attentive and good food.

My husband was able to order online so there wasn't a long wait. He ordered a chicken sandwich that looked pretty good. I ordered the ahi salad which I would not recommend. The ahi tasted funny and wasn't very good. I wasn't crazy about the salad dressing either. Bummer but I'm sure we will try it again. read more

Mike was extremely helpful! The food is always good & comes with urgency. The staff is very polite & will always cater to your needs. The environment is much more enjoyable knowing I can dine with my dog. read more

I would say this is not worth the visit. You wait in line where nobody greets you or shows you appreciation for being there. Then you order at the counter. After a long while, someone brings your burgers which have cold and untasted buns. The fries and boring and average. Nothing juicy about the experience. The inside of the restaurant is very nice, but not nice enough to return to. I would rather go almost anywhere else in Santee that serves burgers. I don't understand how a place in its first week of business doesn't go out of their way to wow their 100% new customer base. Also, don't waste your time with their app. It is horrific and clearly not something they care about. read more

The service is five stars - best staff - super personable and well-trained - Riz should get a raise!!! Food is always great - pricing is reasonable and portions are plenty. Great ambiance and location. We visit every week since they opened and have tried everything on the menu read more

The Stand delivers on its "American Classics Redefined" promise with a lively, modern fast‑casual vibe. Open late on weekends (until 11pm) and comfortably spacious, it's great for both a casual family dinner or grabbing burgers with friends . Service is consistently friendly and attentive--staff remembered our order details, checked in mid‑meal, and kept smiles on even during busy times read more

Ronaldo was super helpful during my visit to The Stand. I had a bunch of questions about the menu, and he took the time to explain everything and gave me a few of his recommendations. He was patient, informative, and just really easy to talk to. The food was great and it's definitely a place to check out and try. I'll be returning for sure! read more

I went for the first time today and had the most wonderful experience. I ordered the French onion burger and my friend got the short rib grilled cheese. Both were crave-worthy! read more

Food was cold and hard to get service to clean off outside tables. The only thing good was their shakes

Came here for lunch, Mike took our order and was super kind, even went out of his way to clean our table again and dry it. I ordered the Southwest chicken salad, it was huge and delicious! Also the chili cheese fries were amazing! Thank you Mike for your awesome customer service! read more

great food and great service In Santee. So nice to have a restaurant like this in east county San Diego. Mike was super attentive and nice!

The BBQ Brisket sandwich was amazing and also shout out to Mike at the front counter.

WOW, fantastic!!! We received a flyer in the mail and decided to give this establishment a try and I am so glad we did. The food was awesome and the service was above impressive. Thank you Cameron for walking me through the process of ordering and suggesting the right sides to accompany our family dinner, you were most helpful and very pleasant. read more

First visit, I got the ABC burger was really good although was not cooked medium like they said. Second trip, I got the salmon bowl, was good however could've used more salmon or less of the other contents in the bowl. My brother got a burger and he said the same thing about the burger as I did, not cooked medium like they said and was a bit dry. I know it's a new place, so I'm not saying don't try it. I think they need to finely tune some things still. But all in all, great service, really clean indoors, nice outdoor seating, everything is freshly made. Just a bit rushed on the burgers and more protein in their bowls so it lasts amongst the other contents. read more

We have eaten at The Stand two times now and probably won't be going back. We typically order our food to-go and only live 10 minutes away. The food has been ice cold by the time we get home both times. The burger is flavorful but I could go across the street and get In-Out for half the price and it's just as good if not better. I've also ordered the fries crispy hoping they would still be hot. by the time we got home and they are soggy. They were never crispy from the start. read more

The Stand is a great spot for a nice bite to eat for any occasion. The quality of food is equivalent to what you pay, very friendly staff and quick service. The environment is open and not overly loud compared to other busy restaurants. Highly recommend stopping by here for a good bite and an extensive menu for a variety of food preferences. read more

Ris was so amazing! so kind and efficient! the store was busy and everyone was doing a great job! food great as always. thank you chefs!

Great food and great customer service and the place is so nicely kept and clean great experience with my family

Just dined in at The Stand in Santee and Mike provided excellent fast, friendly service!

Great! Mike was fantastic at the counter!! Such a great spot! Outside seating was clean.

Average. Nothing special here but the fries were good. Salads looked good, probable better choice than burger

Service is great and food is too! Only thing missing is Padre game on TVs. !! Great atmosphere too.

The food was great, the portions were good just didn't like having to get in line to order my food, for some reason I thought it was going to be more of a sit down and good place to hang kind of place. read more

Turkey sandwich had a rotten avocado and barley toasted. Not a great first visit but I will try it again one more time since I work in Santee read more

My new favorite spot! It's my go-to local spot to gather with friends and family. Well done! Great food and service.

I am very happy to say that after looking at the menu on my phone, i decided to try The Stand on mission gorge in Santee this past Sunday 6/08. I am so glad i did! The menu has a little bit of something for everyone! I had the bbq brisket sandwich, and my mom had the burger with the mushrooms and cheese, i cant recall the name of it, but we were both very happy with our choices! The restaurant was clean and brite, comfortable seating... but the absolute hands down winner of the whole experience was meeting an employee whose name is Renato Mora! He happens to be the head cook at this location, and i hope the corporate office knows just how lucky they are to have him employed! He was very friendly, very kind, and truly welcoming! Between his personality and his culinary skills he won us over.... consider us regulars now! So far ive shared my praise with every parent on our softball team as well as my coworkers, family and friends! Great food, with great choices, and an awesome staff... what more is there to ask for? Thank you Renato Mora! Look forward to seeing you and your wonderful menu real soon! Havent been that pleasantly surprised in a while! read more

Best burger of my life , just got something else I'm addicted to ! My wife and I are so indecisive , that's why we love this place they have a bunch of different options on the menu , but nothing beats their burgers ! I got the jalapeño bacon and I swear it was the best burger I've ever tried ! Juicy patty with slightly crispy edges and buttery bun but not To much on the sweetness ! Man the jalapeño just adds to the freshness of the bite ! The building itself is pretty big so even if it's busy you can stop by and won't be waiting too long , considering in-n-out , and chik-f-la across the street take aprox 30 minutes on average just to order your food ! The front cashiers were so nice and asked how I wanted my burger , Rolanto was the first person I talked to after I ate and I just had to let him know my experience was beyond amazing , it's been awhile since I felt like that ! an all around experience when it comes to the food industry . Ronalto and Jastyn had brought us both our orders even when we forgot to order another shake they were super cool and fast !! Will be back at least twice a week ! read more

10/10 Customer Service and GREAT food! The environment was light and open. Raynalto and Jastyn in specific had amazing customer service .... We will definitely be back! read more
