Their potatoes used to be around the $10 mark now they're close to $20 for tasteless food. Perhaps I got the wrong ones but the taco and chicken fajita potatoes were disgusting. The potatoes make for a huge meal. This is definitely a spot where you could order one and share with a companion. Sharing also makes sense because the spuds are a bit pricey. Plenty of inside seating, however, it's just a basic set up. Likely more comfortable to grab your spuds to take back home or to the office. Also, depending on how much you like liquid "cheese" topping, I'd recommend having it served in a side container so you can control how much is necessary. Otherwise, prepare to be slathered. read more

Customer Service is really good. I was helped by a younger women at the register, very nice. I ordered a seafood spud and though it looked good the food didn't taste as good. The spud was missing flavor. My spud has crawfish, shrimp and crab and it was still bland. Also the shrimp is frozen cooked pink shrimp. Maybe if the ingredients were fresher it would be better. I love a good Spud with plenty of variety, I had the fried shrimp spud, it was going if I had to add something to it I would ask them to put salt on the tables, while the shrimp was good when you get into the potatoe they have added butter but I really needs a little salt. Serving up GIANT potatoes stuffed with all the works! My brother in law and I tried the Spinach & Artichoke (add bacon, of course) and the Chicken Alfredo potatoes. The spinach & artichoke was similar to a dip served on a potato topped with cheese and chives. The chicken alfredo potato was grilled chicken smothered in a creamy Alfredo sauce topped with cheese and chives. Both potatoes were cooked all the way through to perfection! Customer service was excellent! Staff answered all of my questions courteously and accommodated me well as I requested cheese on the side. I was craving a baked potato for lunch, and a coworker suggested I head up the street to the Spud Spot. They have quite the extensive menu of toppings that you can choose (they also have poor boys and snoballs if that's what your aim is). They do have a sign saying they may have imported seafood for toppings, but otherwise, they have all kinds of meat, cheese, and veggies to choose from for your potato. I really only wanted the basics (like cheese and bacon), and it was pricey, like $11, but when I received it and this thing was the size of a small football! I couldn't finish the whole potato, but it was so light and fluffy, I couldn't help but enjoy it. Also picked up a large beverage, but it was all ice, very little beverage. Found on Yelp Ordered "Dat Cajun" spud based on reviews and the ingredients listed on the menu. It was a big potato but not huge. The sauce was spicy as the menu says. The staff was a bit rude while taking orders. Adding extras must be an issue for some customers. Added extra scallions (they called them chives and they are not the same thing, related yes but different) and she said there was a charge. I said fine. My friend ordered her potato and added a different protein and an extra cheese and she said they are extra. The tone she kept saying it in made us respond with we know things cost extra and if we ask for it we are willing to pay for it. The potato was filling and it was spicy and ultimately had to pour some of the oil off to enjoy the potato the ingredients were drowned in it. You can tell by the photo I will add. The corn was overcooked and the sausage was just okay. Id be okay not going here again based on the service. Especially after seeing the next customer treated so much nicer than us. read more

You can sub for the sweet potato version if they have any in stock if you're into the healthier stuff. From the potato choices, you can either have the half or full version. I had the crawfish potato while my friend had the meat & cheese. With his option, you can choose your meat and cheese. I believe he chose ham as his meat, but I am unsure of his cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, and Swiss?). Cheese is cheese at this point once it's loaded onto a potato full of other stuff. lol. My crawfish potato was delicious as heck! It was smothered in margarine, cheese, and other unhealthy flavors. I've driven by this place so many times and finally got the chance to try it today. I walked in, quickly placed my order and waited about 15 minutes until my food was ready to-go. The place was steady with folks coming and going for pick up orders or for snowballs. I ordered the Number 14 Chicken Potato with fried chicken, cheddar cheese, nacho cheese and added bacon. First, I don't think anything in this place comes in a small size because both the soft drink and potato were among the largest I've ever seen in my life. Second, I am emotionally and physically exhausted from eating this potato and I only got a third of the way through. It was delicious and SO filling. Any potato can easily be split between two people. They put enough of the fillings in it and there was still enough potato to go around. I placed my phone order at 11:29 a.m. order was not ready until 11:58 a.m. Upon reception of items I received the wrong order. I received a potato with no bacon and one with bacon although I ordered two of the same items the cashier had a line of five people along with answering the phone while two workers were in the back pushing out online and Food Service orders resulting in 13 containers sitting on the counter ready to go with four people waiting in the lobby. The food is okay but I suggest putting in a GrubHub, DoorDash, or Uber Eats order to be catered to in a timely manner because their attention is not on in-store customers. One employee did not seem to understand that the traditional potato comes with bacon and kept trying to give me a potato with a pile of shredded cheese that wasn't melted and no bacon.
