The seafood potato has the snell of old seafood. Also the chicken fajita was disgusting. Freshness is not here!

Customer Service is really good. I was helped by a younger women at the register, very nice. I ordered a seafood spud and though it looked good the food didn't taste as good. The spud was missing flavor. My spud has crawfish, shrimp and crab and it was still bland. Also the shrimp is frozen cooked pink shrimp. Maybe if the ingredients were fresher it would be better. The ambiance is quiet, it's not busy, pretty empty. They have potential but this wasn't it. I only came because Spudlys in Metairie was closed today. Would I go back.... probably not

This is THE BEST BAKED POTATO I've ever had in my life!!!! This place is truly a hidden gem located on the Westbank of New Orleans in a small strip mall! Serving up GIANT potatoes stuffed with all the works! My brother in law and I tried the Spinach & Artichoke (add bacon, of course) and the Chicken Alfredo potatoes. The spinach & artichoke was similar to a dip served on a potato topped with cheese and chives. The chicken alfredo potato was grilled chicken smothered in a creamy Alfredo sauce topped with cheese and chives. Both potatoes were cooked all the way through to perfection! Customer service was excellent! Staff answered all of my questions courteously and accommodated me well as I requested cheese on the side. This is definitely a great spot for lunch or a weekend test with the family! Extensive menu, dine in or carry out, and QUALITY!

Found on Yelp Ordered "Dat Cajun" spud based on reviews and the ingredients listed on the menu. It was a big potato but not huge. The sauce was spicy as the menu says. The staff was a bit rude while taking orders. Adding extras must be an issue for some customers. Added extra scallions (they called them chives and they are not the same thing, related yes but different) and she said there was a charge. I said fine. My friend ordered her potato and added a different protein and an extra cheese and she said they are extra. The tone she kept saying it in made us respond with we know things cost extra and if we ask for it we are willing to pay for it. The potato was filling and it was spicy and ultimately had to pour some of the oil off to enjoy the potato the ingredients were drowned in it. You can tell by the photo I will add. The corn was overcooked and the sausage was just okay. Id be okay not going here again based on the service. Especially after seeing the next customer treated so much nicer than us.

I usually love spud spot but I haven't been for a few months, usually everything is wonderful but this last time i went my good was cold & my snowball was dry also they didn't close my food properly so all my butter was all over the bag and on my food container

At first I was like, "Why are we having potatoes for lunch?" But boy oh boy was this lunch delish! You can sub for the sweet potato version if they have any in stock if you're into the healthier stuff. From the potato choices, you can either have the half or full version. I had the crawfish potato while my friend had the meat & cheese. With his option, you can choose your meat and cheese. I believe he chose ham as his meat, but I am unsure of his cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, and Swiss?). Cheese is cheese at this point once it's loaded onto a potato full of other stuff. lol. My crawfish potato was delicious as heck! It was smothered in margarine, cheese, and other unhealthy flavors. His was a bit more dry, but pretty good as it was more on the normal side of what a potato should be. There are also snowballs as dessert if your stomach can hold anymore food. The staff was sweet, cordial, and friendly. This was a small place to sit and eat, but it could hold about 15 folks? Parking was plentiful since this was in a complex so no worries about this aspect.

    Snowball

We just left from there! The snow balls are on point! Of course you know we had to get the condense milk, tiger blood, sour apple, hurricane. Liz was the best. Po boys were hot and ready bake potatoes were massive and full! No complaints here. Thanks Liz, they don't have this kind of service in California.

How have I never visited this place before? I ordered two potatoes from Uber eats, along with some fried pickles for my husband and I. We will have had 3 meals off of this order: lunch, dinner, and leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The portions are huge and the ingredients are delicious! You must try the fried shrimp potato and the Cajun crawfish one. Both are amazing. We can't wait to try all the different choices they offer. Totally delicious!

Everything was disrespectfully delicious. Every bite had us questioning our life choices in the best way. By the end of the meal, we were all sleepy and completely defeated by how good the food was. The staff was on point, courteous, and polite. Our food came out hot, fast, and perfectly plated with consistency that never misses. My only small complaint is that the sweet potato habanero sauce isn't as thick as it used to be. I'm a little annoyed about that, but it still tastes exactly the same Cochon Butcher remains one of those must visit New Orleans spots that never disappoints. We ordered the black-eyed pea chili and the muffuletta, and the sandwich completely stole the show. The bread was perfectly soft, and you can really taste the difference in quality with their in-house meats. The olive salad tied the whole thing together, complementing the rich, savory flavors perfectly. That being said, the space gets extremely crowded on busy days. It's tight enough that you'll likely have people bumping into your chair or brushing past you while you eat and walk through the dining room. The biggest downside was the service at the counter. The line to the cashiers was very disorganized. Instead of calling the next person in line, one cashier was pulling people up at random, which made the ordering process frustrating. Overall, the food is fantastic, but be prepared for chaotic crowds and a messy ordering system during peak hours.

However, I know wait times can be out the door so plan accordingly. We were dropped off by Uber, but in terms of parking, it's mainly street parking. Overall, the shop is pretty small. They have a handful of tables outside and more seating inside but it's not huge -- hence the longer lines. It's also quite eclectic with serving on plastic McDonald's plates and the music that was playing. We ordered: The ham sandwich, wedge salad, and a delicious pickle cocktail The ham sandwich had excellent flavor! I wish it had a but more ham on it, but overall the flavor was 10/10! The wedge salad had too much salad dressing. I LOVE blue cheese and blue cheese salad dressing but the lettuce to dressing ratio was off. Could have used less as I felt so much went to waste. The thick cut bacon on the salad was the exact salty touch it needed and the fresh dill was such a fresh touch. The pickle cocktail was delicious! I wish I would have ordered another one! It was slightly sweet, but also salty... SO good! Overall, I would highly recommend Turkey and the Wolf and totally stop by again if I were visiting New Orleans in the future.

I placed an order about 10:20pm via GrubHub. After receiving a notification via GrubHub that my order was being made and in process, I was happy I would be having a po' boy and fries in 30 minutes. Well....20-30 minutes go by and I get an update saying my order is delayed 15 minutes. Ok...thats fine. Still satisfied that with my limited options this late in this night that I will be getting food. 10 minutes later, I get a text saying my order has been canceled. Frustration ensues... I debate. Just let it go? Or call the restaurant directly. I call the restaurant. A pleasant gentleman answers. I explain my order and cancellation notice. He says my first name without prompting and explains that Grub Hub did not assign a driver and he cancelled the order. Before my objection, however, he asks where I am and clarifies that I am at a very near hotel. He, the owner, confirms my location and room number and says he can make my order in 5 minutes and deliver within 15. I was elated. I go downstairs to the hotel lobby to wait and within less than 15 minutes he arrives with a bag of hot food that I ordered. This is customer service of perfection. When he arrives I pulled out cash for a tip and he refused to accept it and apologized for Grub Hub screwing things up before I could even have cash to give him. The food....it was great. The bread of the po'boy was crispy on the outside and chewy inside. Fresh shrimp was flavorful and lightly breaded. The cheese fries are indeed world famous. This wasn't just a "food was great" review. But the above and beyond service was as good as the food. If you have read this review this far, just order food from Parkside Tavern. Please. It's a bar (long bar) with TVs, and a pool table. I called in an order for a cheeseburger on French, dressed and a large order of fries. The person taking the order was friendly and efficient. Said it would be ready in 10 minutes and it was. The food was as good as I remembered. The French bread must be Leidenheimer's. It's the best. Parkside is smoky and it's decor leaves something to be desired. Mostly frequented by friendly locals who have been going to Parkside forever.
