I love skellig for a day drink or night out but WARNING if you bring your dog to the patio during the day - there is broken glass EVERYWHERE in the gravel. This pile is just within arms reach around our table.

Absolutely incredible! We had our holiday party here and I can't tell you how amazing it was! The food, drinks, and hospitality was exceptional! Lots of parking in the rear of the building. Highly recommend!

We went here for TX/OU. It was a great atmosphere with both Texas and OU fans (unfortunately...) and we were able to all sit at the same table. The staff was exceptionally kind and understanding despite the anticipation of serving during such a wild game. I got a simple breakfast which was of course great, and the cider was wonderful. They have an interesting twist on a sangria with rose wine.

Vibes off the charts

So many people inside this joint. So many people. Everybody just watching the games happening. Kinda fun honestly. Sheridan the waitress (friend of my friend cam bam grand slam woodall) was a gem and a half. My Dr Pepper was tasty. Got the double whiskey something or other burger and it was delectable. Booth had a caged light thing that made the whole thing have a mysterious, almost pirates of the Caribbean vibe. Not complaining. No jack sparrow sightings.

Great place to watch games, try el chapo's with your friends. Loaded fries were good too

On weeknights Skellig is a consistent, engaging neighborhood pub. Their beer companion board rivals some of the best charcuterie I've had in Dallas. The chicken tenders are crisp and fluffy, like Cane's, and the chocolate brownie is blissful. If you sit outside, make sure to let someone at the bar know because sometimes they forget to check on who has walked up. On weekends; however, Skellig turns into a raging sports center. They're packed wall to wall with post-grads and SMU students watching football and pregaming clubs. I wouldn't recommend trying to come for dinner as you won't get served anything but alcohol.

Old Fashioneds, and house made salsa and queso with chips

This is one of my favorite go-tos! They have something for everyone in terms of food (vegetarian options), and drinks. The standard of service is also ALWAYS on point. My Old Fashioneds are always prepared the same way and always excellent. My friends say The Skellig have "the best fried chicken fingers in Dallas!"

Burger

Loud, lively, with a young crowd! Everyone seemed to be in their 20's unless someone brought a parent in! Classic bar food. Only complaint is the burger. Really thin slab of meat. Relatively similar in size to McDonald's or Whataburger. Fries were similar to that category as well. The ranch and queso were both great! Chips were served hot! Food and drinks came out in good timing! We ordered the El Chapo shots which did not disappoint! Service was great. Good atmosphere.

Chips & Queso

Skellig is where the party starts and ends for the night. This is where you go in Dallas to meet young successful people in Dallas. The food is good, but that's not the real reason you come here. The atmosphere is great if you are into the crowded bar scene. The food is surprisingly good and the beer is cold!

Enjoying a summer night!

Food is amazing, best veggie burger in town, the lentil soup is perfect! Recently tried the chicken sliders (too damn delicious) to try something new - at my daughter's request - that is how long I have been coming back, long enough to become a mom, raise her up and take her to the best dining spots :) I highly recommend the black widow, it is my go to daytime sip if we stop in for lunch, daughter recommends the Shirley Temple, says "they do it right." During the day and early evening this is easily a family friendly spot, we often see babies. But never may kids to make you regret stopping in, it is relaxing and fun. Drinks are amazing, the entire food menu is phenomenal - you can't go wrong. ***I do miss the old cheese board set up, but I get that change has to happen and we love you just the same Old Monk. We come all the way from Arlington for the prices, food, drinks...but mostly for the staff. Truly an amazing crew!

Loved that the booths had walls, so it made the experience more private. Our table was a tad short, but we made it work. All the food was hot when served. Server was attentive. I don't think Harwood Arms was prepared for how many people were going to show up- it seemed completely disorganized, chaotic, and just ridiculous. We were sitting down at one of the tables outside in the alley area and the walkway was clear- at first. After the game had actually started, I guess they just let everyone in and the entire walkway was PACKED with people to the point that our once clear view of the TV, was gone in an instant. As the night progressed, obviously a girl has to pee, so as I was walking into the actual restaurant/ pub to use the bathroom and I guess the "bouncer" stuck his arm between me and the door and dismissively said I couldn't go in. Excuse me? After telling him I literally have a table outside, he yanks at his collar and speaks into his little walkie talkie asking if there's a table of 4 outside under my name. Sorry, I didn't know I was watching the Mexico game at the freakin White House surrounded by Secret Agents. Give me a break. So when he magically confirms I have a table (because I do), he lifts up his arm and gives me the ALL CLEAR! It's actually funny looking back at it. But give me a break. When going back outside to sit at my table, the same bouncer/ Secret Agent/ FBI dude gives attitude to my boyfriend and myself for the commotion caused earlier. The actual police officer next to him told us it's ok and to just have a good time. The only nice thing someone said to us and he doesn't even work at Harwood Arms lol. To management, if you do not want people "off the street" to go in and out of your pub or inside to use your bathrooms, then I don't know- maybe come up with a wristband method so your paying customers can smoothly go in and out to use your bathrooms? Just a thought. OR just don't be unwelcoming to people that are actively spending money at your pub. Harwood Arms was NOT prepared at all for the high velocity of people coming in to watch the FIFA games. Quite frankly, it was a MESS. I did visit Bar W a few days after that and had a MUCH BETTER experience-- go there instead.

The bartender, Ryan, then went to work turning the pool table into a large dining table. He then amazed us by not only taking great care of all of the patrons at the bar but our large crowd as well. We ordered many drinks, appetizers and each had an entree as well. Ryan was flawless the entire time we are there. We walked in and immediately had low expectations. Ryan turned that around quickly and convincingly. Not only was his service excellent but the food was excellent as well. It reminded me of a trip I took to Ireland about 9 years ago. The quesadillas was delicious. The tacos were crates and the wings had all different flavor flavors to them. The dry wings were my favorite. They were so crispy and seasoned perfectly. The wet wings were a lot of sauce and of course I'm trying to look dainty like a lady and I've got sauce all over my face, lol but it was all good. It was a great great time and the service was fabulous.
