Do Not drive there In your own car. The crime there is frequent and the staff there warned us our first time there that cars are often broken into. They do nothing about it. our waitress warned us about it but we never thought it would happen to us. We only went there to meet friends from outa town. Never ever go there again. On the weekend mornings, expect brunch. Cheesy eggs, cheesy potatoes, bacon, fruits, and some of the best saucy leaves I've ever had all paired with Rosemary French toast. It's a flat rate per person and the food comes out in family servings. The service was good, there's a button to press to call your server. Decided to go see how The Rustic was all about. It was the RedRiver Shootout weekend. We expected to be super busy but we're a bit surprise that it was not, they sat us right down. The place is a great hang out place to grab a drink and enjoy some great live music. We tried the Meatballs and to our taste we thought the where on the dry side. They come in a jalapeño jam that was not bad but, that was basically what gave the flavor to the meatball. They recommended us to try the Hot chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was actually pretty good with the fries. The place has a great atmosphere and it's some what on the loader side. If your coming here you are definitely coming for a steak. They do have love music and indoor/outdoor seating. We recently attended the Aaron Watson concert at The Rustic. We like the venue and we got a very close parking spot. However, the external toilets at this place for the concert was beyond disgusting. I have traveled all over the world and never almost gaged and tossed from walking into a toilet. Please either fix these or close them. Also, paying cash for a bucket of beers is a pita it's 2022. I know you are cashing them out to the server and your letting them sale and they keep the difference it's a pita for your customers. FYI different prices from different servers. read more

Sunday brunch with friends!! This place seems to be an Uptown staple, and since we're new to Uptown, we had to see it for ourselves. Our experience here was fun, because our friends are amazing and the conversations were engaging. However, our dining experience was far below what we expected. Decor-large indoor/outdoor venue. It's got a huge bar, large stage for live music, and tons of indoor/outdoor seating. There's a large window into the kitchen,so patrons could see the cooks working. Service-just down right awful. The girl in charge of our table was sweet, but overwhelmed. We had to keep reminding her what we needed. She brought all drink orders separately, and had to be reminded of the missing drinks. We needed to ask for plates, silverware, and drinks again. Maybe they need more staff, which would not surprise me. Food-was good, but nothing out of this world. The brunch meal has lots to choose from and gives you a wide range of flavors both sweet and savory. The donuts were probably the best part of the meal, and fried chicken was what I liked the least. We also ordered their fried chicken sandwich, which was only ok. The vibes are great and the location is stellar, we'll be back, so we hope the service improves and the dinner food offerings are bette tasting. read more

We arrived at 6 o'clock on a Sunday evening. We were sat immediately and order drinks and an appetizer. The appetizer arrived in a timely manner but I was very disappointed in the lack of salt or flavor in the potato chips as well as queso and pimento dip. Would not likely suggest this. They were moderately busy and I work with came to take our order after being buzzed but, we waited over 45 minutes for two sandwich meals. I think what got me the most was I was supposed to have broccoli instead of french fries and even though it took 45 minutes for our food to come the broccoli came two minutes after I spoke up. Just expected more. Would not likely return. Not terrible but, not great. Very cool atmosphere. read more

Met a friend for lunch here today after hearing about this restaurant on the news! We arrive around 5pm on a Friday night and the restaurant was pretty busy. Def recommend making reservations ahead of time because the restaurant tends to fill up fast! There was a live artist singing on the porch outside which can still be seen even if dining inside. The restaurant also has happy hour 3-6p ($5 margaritas and $5 mini appetizers) so we arrived right on time! The salmon burger was a 7.5/10 and the hot chicken sandwich was a 7/10. It could've had more of a hot chicken flavor in my opinion. We also ordered the meatballs and chips and queso from the happy hour appetizer and those were both 8/10! Had some of the best empanadas I've ever eaten. The atmosphere was nice and it wasn't loud. They don't have a lot of tables but the layout is nice with a big bar. The Rustic Burger was also really good. It comes with chips but you can substitute for any other side. I got the fries and they were solid. The margarita here is excellent and is not to sweet.
