It was a beautiful sunny day so why not stop for a cocktail at a rooftop bar? Our server was very friendly and the drinks were delicious. Came here for the ambience and a delicious drink and we got both here.

Oysters are high quality and perfectly prepped!!

Situated at the top of the Harmon Guest House, this restaurant is a great place to go to enjoy drinks while watching the sunset over Healdsburg. Great service, great space, great drinks and great food!! Recommendations: their truffle fries are to die for. So are the riccota doughnuts. Their oysters are always delish, but better deals on mondays.

I love coming here, the ambience makes you feel like a fancy fancy lady going out with your fancy lady friends. I suppose you can also come here with your significant other, but I prefer to come here with my girlfriends. All of the food is sharable and delicious and they have a great non-alcoholic drink selection too which is currently my jam. Also you can just show up and not be stressed about a reservation. Again, all the food is good so pick whatever you want!

Perfect ambiance for a Sunday lunch! The weather was perfect, this is a very cute and quaint place, my friends and I had lunch and it was perfect. Service was great, the servers were polite, provided some suggestions when sharing what we were looking for. The food was fresh and perfect for what we were expecting. This is on the rooftop of a hotel, after lunch we roamed around the hotel.

My first time here and the outdoor rooftop experience is just amazing! The weather was perfect out and the seats by the fireplace was such a cute moment. My group got the oysters which were actually so refreshing with the cucumbers and vinaigrette sauce! This is different than some other oysters I've gotten and I liked how fresh they tasted. We also got the truffle garlic fries, and I loved how the garlic tasted actually cooked into the fries themselves rather than just added on top! I also got a sparkling wine to go with the rest of the food and complete the meal. The only thing was that I couldn't tell who was a server or not because they were all wearing casual clothes lol The workers were very attentive and friendly to talk to! I would come back here for the $1 oysters next time :)

Their fabulous ceviche

Located on the fourth floor of the Harmon guest house, this place is perfect for a cocktail and small bites. Since they don't take reservations, we came here on a Sunday evening a little after 6 PM. Note: This place can easily be confused with Rooftop 106, which takes reservations. We opted for The Rooftop and found it to be more intimate. There were only a few couples here and we sat out on the balcony watching the sunset's ebb. Their cocktails are fantastic! Literally, lthe back half of their menu is all drinks and cocktails. This place has plenty of small bites as well as 3 dessert options at the time of this writing. Our small bites were ceviche, wild caught jumbo prawns, and a chicken salad. Every single food item was five star excellent. Literally, everything was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again or recommend it. The only flaw was that they had some trouble with their outdoor heat lamp, which kept shutting off every 10 minutes. Rooftops is located at the 200 block of Healdsburg Avenue, so parking is relatively abundant either at the square or behind the block.

From start to finish we had a perfect experience here this evening. Luckily we arrived right before happy hour was over so were able to enjoy cocktails & small plates at a reduced price. Our server Pearl was absolutely magnificent- so cheerful, funny & efficient. The Cosmo cocktail was well made, the mahi tacos delicious with a fabulous sauce and the crispy spring rolls divine. We had a lovely view of Fitch Mountain from our table. The heat lamps were all turned on just as it got chilly.

Loved the drinks and nibbles here. Nice modern rooftop bar. Service was great. Enjoyed our cocktails and food was tasty too. Definitely will be back for more!

$1 oysters

We went for the $1 Monday night oyster special and it was packed by 4:30 pm, mostly locals. We were able to grab seats on the outside couch with another friendly couple, who recommended the oysters. First off, the setting and 4th floor views are very nice. It's a fairly small patio so if there's a large group like when we went, it will be difficult finding a seat. We ordered 2 dozen oysters, figuring you can't go wrong, and an ahi tuna tower. Also two glasses of wine for about $15 each. The oysters came up fast, a combination of Marin miyagi, Tomales Bay oysters and mignonette (but no hot sauce!), normally $3.75 each. They looked beautiful, but the larger ones were inedible and I had to spit into my napkin. The smaller ones were a little better but still slimy. We ate 7 of the 24, yet the waiter never asked if we were enjoying them, etc. The yellowfin tuna tartare was much better, served over avocado, chili aoli with four crispy wontons on the side. We gobbled that up for $20. After 20 minutes of waiting for our drinks and asking about it, the waitress said the ticket ran out of ink and they never got the order, so she brought out the wine and comped us. The servers were nice but really busy. I'd recommend checking it out but forget the oysters.

Truffle fries and chips/guacamole

We stopped by here after some wine tasting to get appetizers and drinks. We ordered 4 different drinks and they were all delicious! We also got chips and guacamole, spring rolls, and truffle fries. They were all tasty, but the fries were the biggest appetizer we got and best to share with everyone. Our server was friendly and we had a great time. You can also climb the stairs up to the rooftop or take the elevator.

Fried chicken sliders
Josh P.

Had the fried chicken sliders and fries last night. The chicken was some of the most tender fried chicken I've had in my life. The slaw complimented it very well as well. The fries were seasoned and fried perfectly. Again, rivaling any fries I've had ever.

sweet spot! why aren't the locals there? lol hidden gem w room to grow. nice attentive service. crispy fries! wish you had ranch. well done small menu and nice specialty cocktails. LOVELY open view. this place would be fun in a storm with the floor to ceiling windows. hubby loved his oysters and the plating is simple but very cool. great spot to grab a sip n a nosh without having to line it or reserve it. sat eve is a busy place downtown in the summer. PLUS HUGE extra plus for welcoming my pup w a big fresh bowl of water.

Coconut drink and some taco thing.

Great place, wish they served actual meals! We went for some drinks and yummy drinks. I had some coconut drink and some fish taco thing. Very good. Tragically we left hungry and had to go spent more money down the street. Please consider expanding your menu!

We knew immediately this was going to be a special night. We went all in with the chef's prix fixe menu, and it delivered from the very first bite. Warm, homemade dinner rolls -- fragrant with thyme, garlic, and chili flakes, served alongside pillowy whipped butter -- set the tone perfectly. We loved them so much we asked for a second basket without a moment's hesitation. The Sonoma County Organic Salad that followed was nothing short of a revelation: crisp Little Gem lettuce, Pioneer Micro Herbs and edible flowers, beautifully shaved vegetables, whipped fromage blanc, and a Green Goddess dressing that tied it all together with effortless elegance. Perfection is the only word for it. For our entrées, the Petrale Sole Meunière was a masterclass in refined, soulful cooking -- the Costeaux sourdough croutons, potato fondant, haricot verts, and caper beurre noisette working in perfect harmony. And the pork porchetta with nduja? Cooked flawlessly, bold, deeply satisfying, and utterly memorable. We paired the meal with the Valette Rosé of Pinot Noir, which has instantly earned a place among the finest rosés we've ever tasted -- vibrant, nuanced, and a dream with every course. Dessert brought the ItsNotA 'Snickers Bar' and the Almond Frangipane, both executed brilliantly and the ideal sweet finale to an extraordinary meal. Valette isn't just a great restaurant -- it's our new favorite dining destination, full stop. We'll be back, again and again.

It's a great room with good energy and although I was expecting more of a white tablecloth experience, it was casual, which was fine. Unfortunately, my entire entree (sole meunière with green beans and fondant potatoes) was uniformly bland...no trace of salt or seasoning whatsoever. The entire dish was blah. I can't remember the last time I complained about inadequate seasoning, but when it's nowhere to be found, it's hard to ignore. The beans were pretty much raw. I enjoy bright green beans served al dente beans, but raw? No. The fondant potatoes were anemic (zero golden color, zero confit). All three pieces seemed steamed, steamed unevenly, and served cold. One of the three fondants was very firm and barely cooked. I needed to cut it with a knife. The other two were fork tender but alas, cold and flavorless. Honestly, it was kinda weird that all three components of this dish were just so darned boring and lacking temperature. I had only started my meal when I told the server about my impression of the dish. He took my feedback cheerily and said he'd let the chef know for future reference, but no "How can we fix this?" It was a bummer. When eating a classically delicious dish feels like punishment, something's not right. On the bright side, the server had a very nice manner. The room was lovely and had good energy. The menu was priced lower than we expected. And the chilled english pea soup was absolutely delicious. So Valette is capable of getting some things right. I'm not sure whether to chalk it up to "off night" or poor quality control in the kitchen. I guess both, maybe.

From the very beginning of the meal, there was a clear sense of precision, elegance, and intention. The opening presentation was stunning, filled with an assortment of beautifully composed small bites featuring oyster, mushroom, sea bream, and a variety of other seasonal ingredients. Each bite felt delicate yet purposeful, showcasing both technical refinement and remarkable balance. One of the most memorable dishes of the evening was the bluefin tuna moriawase paired with strawberries. Normally, fruit in savory dishes tends to feel distracting or overly sweet to me, but the execution here was exceptional. The chefs managed to create a harmony between sweetness, tartness, acidity, and umami that elevated the tuna rather than overshadowing it. It was a dish that felt thoughtful, restrained, and incredibly well composed. The consistency throughout the progression of the menu was equally impressive. Course after course arrived with meticulous presentation and a strong sense of identity. Every dish felt polished and intentional, balancing visual artistry with flavors that were equally compelling. There was never a moment where the meal lost momentum, and the pacing allowed each course to feel distinct while still contributing to a cohesive experience. That said, there was one course that completely missed the mark for our group. The milk and honey dessert, which resembled a sponge cake topped with a whipped goat cheese foam, was overwhelmingly pungent and difficult to approach as a dessert course. The intensity of the goat cheese dominated every other component, to the point where it felt less like a composed dessert and more like being punched by a goat farm. Looking around the dining room, it seemed we were not alone in our reaction. Interestingly, when we mentioned that this was the only dish we did not enjoy, we were told, "if at least 1 out of 10 guests enjoy it, we consider it a win." It was certainly an unexpected response, especially given how polished and thoughtful the rest of the experience had been. Even with that misstep, the overall meal was exceptional. SingleThread succeeds in delivering a dining experience that feels elegant, immersive, and deeply personal. Between the artistry of the presentations, the balance of flavors, and the technical execution across the menu, it remains one of the most impressive three Michelin star experiences in California.
