Ambient rooftop in Healdsburg with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. You walk into a beautiful tasting room on the first floor before heading up the elevator to the fourth floor rooftop. Once you step off, you make a right and enter the rooftop which has both indoor and outdoor seating. We were there around 5pm and it was quite windy - we had to make sure all the menus and napkins were secured and didn't blow away. We stopped for drinks and ended up ordering a couple bites as well. We ordered cocktails, the truffle fries, and the chicken wings. The cocktails were refreshing and tasted like they used fresh fruit juice. The truffle fries were also good, with just the right amount of truffle where you could still taste the potato. The chicken wings were tasty, but had a bit too much oil for my taste. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.
My husband and I were visiting from San Jose- he knows I love oysters and found the Rooftop Monday happy hour . First of all - the service was wonderful and it had a nice vibe. I was disappointed with the happy hour oysters- presentation was beautiful, but there were shells, tiny and didn't taste that fresh. The brussel sprouts and tacos were fine.

It was a beautiful sunny day so why not stop for a cocktail at a rooftop bar? Our server was very friendly and the drinks were delicious. Came here for the ambience and a delicious drink and we got both here.
Situated at the top of the Harmon Guest House, this restaurant is a great place to go to enjoy drinks while watching the sunset over Healdsburg. Great service, great space, great drinks and great food!! Recommendations: their truffle fries are to die for. So are the riccota doughnuts. Their oysters are always delish, but better deals on mondays.
I feel like this spot is underrated. The food here is amazing, quick and flavorful. The WINGS and TRUFFLE FRIES. Omg. The WINGGGSSS AND TRUFFLE FRIESSSS. First wings: Came back twice for them and both times the meat was juicy and flavored nicely. Crispy skin on the outside. The truffle fries were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, flavor all around. Generous amount of parm all over. Best dam truffle fries ever! The ahi tuna was very nice and their spicy mayo had a good kick. The carne asada looked odd but tasted amazing, I think the meat might've been cooked sous vide style because for medium-well, it was very tender. The chicken on the Caesar salad was zesty and grilled to perfection. Wait staff is super friendly and attentive. Our dog got some water and they were very nice. We got there pretty late but they still sat us and didn't rush us at all!!
I love coming here, the ambience makes you feel like a fancy fancy lady going out with your fancy lady friends. I suppose you can also come here with your significant other, but I prefer to come here with my girlfriends. All of the food is sharable and delicious and they have a great non-alcoholic drink selection too which is currently my jam. Also you can just show up and not be stressed about a reservation. Again, all the food is good so pick whatever you want!
Perfect ambiance for a Sunday lunch! The weather was perfect, this is a very cute and quaint place, my friends and I had lunch and it was perfect. Service was great, the servers were polite, provided some suggestions when sharing what we were looking for. The food was fresh and perfect for what we were expecting. This is on the rooftop of a hotel, after lunch we roamed around the hotel.
My first time here and the outdoor rooftop experience is just amazing! The weather was perfect out and the seats by the fireplace was such a cute moment. My group got the oysters which were actually so refreshing with the cucumbers and vinaigrette sauce! This is different than some other oysters I've gotten and I liked how fresh they tasted. We also got the truffle garlic fries, and I loved how the garlic tasted actually cooked into the fries themselves rather than just added on top! I also got a sparkling wine to go with the rest of the food and complete the meal. The only thing was that I couldn't tell who was a server or not because they were all wearing casual clothes lol The workers were very attentive and friendly to talk to! I would come back here for the $1 oysters next time :)
Located on the fourth floor of the Harmon guest house, this place is perfect for a cocktail and small bites. Since they don't take reservations, we came here on a Sunday evening a little after 6 PM. Note: This place can easily be confused with Rooftop 106, which takes reservations. We opted for The Rooftop and found it to be more intimate. There were only a few couples here and we sat out on the balcony watching the sunset's ebb. Their cocktails are fantastic! Literally, lthe back half of their menu is all drinks and cocktails. This place has plenty of small bites as well as 3 dessert options at the time of this writing. Our small bites were ceviche, wild caught jumbo prawns, and a chicken salad. Every single food item was five star excellent. Literally, everything was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again or recommend it. The only flaw was that they had some trouble with their outdoor heat lamp, which kept shutting off every 10 minutes. Rooftops is located at the 200 block of Healdsburg Avenue, so parking is relatively abundant either at the square or behind the block.
From start to finish we had a perfect experience here this evening. Luckily we arrived right before happy hour was over so were able to enjoy cocktails & small plates at a reduced price. Our server Pearl was absolutely magnificent- so cheerful, funny & efficient. The Cosmo cocktail was well made, the mahi tacos delicious with a fabulous sauce and the crispy spring rolls divine. We had a lovely view of Fitch Mountain from our table. The heat lamps were all turned on just as it got chilly.
We went for the $1 Monday night oyster special and it was packed by 4:30 pm, mostly locals. We were able to grab seats on the outside couch with another friendly couple, who recommended the oysters. First off, the setting and 4th floor views are very nice. It's a fairly small patio so if there's a large group like when we went, it will be difficult finding a seat. We ordered 2 dozen oysters, figuring you can't go wrong, and an ahi tuna tower. Also two glasses of wine for about $15 each. The oysters came up fast, a combination of Marin miyagi, Tomales Bay oysters and mignonette (but no hot sauce!), normally $3.75 each. They looked beautiful, but the larger ones were inedible and I had to spit into my napkin. The smaller ones were a little better but still slimy. We ate 7 of the 24, yet the waiter never asked if we were enjoying them, etc. The yellowfin tuna tartare was much better, served over avocado, chili aoli with four crispy wontons on the side. We gobbled that up for $20. After 20 minutes of waiting for our drinks and asking about it, the waitress said the ticket ran out of ink and they never got the order, so she brought out the wine and comped us. The servers were nice but really busy. I'd recommend checking it out but forget the oysters.
Loved the drinks and nibbles here. Nice modern rooftop bar. Service was great. Enjoyed our cocktails and food was tasty too. Definitely will be back for more!

My friends and I stumbled on this place while looking for a late lunch downtown. With all dining taking place outside, mostly on sidewalks, The Rooftop was a great retreat from noise and car exhaust. Most of the seating has some covering from the awnings, and the tables are nicely spaced out. To be honest we came with some serious doubts on whether the food would be any good, as many restaurants with prime locations lack interesting and quality dishes. But our doubts were quickly put to rest when the giant bowl of shishito peppers, perfectly cooked with a yummy lemon aioli sauce, was served. And it just kept getting better from there. They have nice cocktails and although the bar and spirit section isn't extensive they have a quality selection. The heirloom tomato salad and the seafood plate I think were the star dishes for us. The tomatoes are in season and the dressing was delicious. Plus, our server Ali was fantastic! Very attentive and gracious. We will definitely recommend and return next time we're in the area. read more

Rooftop bars always win my love and this one didn't fail me! We came for a happy hour drink and enjoyed 2 wines (reg $12-13, HH price was $7) and got the only HH beer choice for $5 instead of $8. Good deals there! Not an AMAZING view of anything really, but the sky was blue and the sun was out and it was beautiful because of that! It was hot though! No breeze made for a hot time up there and no dans for us either. I kept wishing it was later in the day- I can inly imagine this place being better at night! I can't wait to try it again! It's on the 4th floor of the hotel. Easily accessed through main hotel lobby, take elevator right up and it's on your right as you exit elevator. Service was great! He kept refilling our waters even though there was a jug on the table for us to do it ourselves and we said we were just there for a drink AKA we're easy and don't need anything. But he kept letting us know he was there for us in case we changed our minds too but not in an annoying way- service was perfect! read more

We were very hungry and last minute popped in here, were quickly seated and ordered their tuna tartare, which though not intrinsically bad, many people will like the flavors. I find it to be closing full of soy and muddled, rather than bright clean explosive flavors. Their guacamole, on the other hand, was absolute fire--loved it: huge chunks of avocado with jalapeño, onion, cilantro, and green chili with some edible lavender flowers top, Vibrant with huge rounds tortilla chips. The portion was a bit small but all forgiven due to the outstanding flavors. The "Caesar" salad with grilled chicken was awful. Inedible. I detected zero anchovy or lemon. Zero acidity and the dressing was oddly grainy, not at all creamy. No tang. No zip. No spark. Nothing. The grilled chicken was stringy and flavorless, insipid. I took a few bites and called it a day, asked for the bill and left. Our service was efficient and friendly, the ambience exactly as advertised: on a rooftop :-) The prices would've been fine ... had I been able to eat the Caesar. read more
My friend and I saw a sign that said happy hour 3-6 and kept that in mind as we were walking around enjoying some wine in the taste rooms near by. We were pretty hungry by the time we got there, the atmosphere is great - very sophisticated yet cozy. Their menu was also great and not too pricey. I felt like we had everything from the appetizers menu but the oysters , fries and sliders were absolutely delicious. read more

The Rooftop Terrace at the Harmon Guest House should never be associated with the ubiquitous "happy hour" hosted by mostly chain hotels. The "rooftop" which is on the 4th floor offers a well-curated and memorable dining experience that we will pine for again and again. Service is impeccable and yet friendly, thoughtfully well-orchestrated but never imposing. The food portions are on the very generous side of San Sebastian Pintxos, and are meant to be shared. We had the YELLOWFIN TUNA TARTAR, SHISHITO PEPPERS, GRILLED CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD, and SPICY MUSSELS, CHORIZO, WITH FOCACCIA. We also had generous by-the-glass pours of Rose and Riesling, as well as a bracingly spicy MEZCAL MARGARITA to round out our truly memorable meal. The wonderful views of Fitch Mountain, the Sonoma hills, and downtown Healdsburg from the Rooftop - and the fact that it's dog-friendly, just adds to the exceptional, overall experience we had. read more

The locals in Healdsburg told us about The Rooftop! A super cool restaurant with a lovely out door patio! We went there for drinks. The floral is a tequila based drink and it was delicious! It looks great for dinner dates or an event for a group of people. It was very easy to access with the elevator to the top. We were well taken care of! I will hopefully be back to try the food next time. read more

Hmmmm. So far so good. A summer Wednesday evening during Covid (hoping there's an after, and you're reading from that place). My husband has a 6pm meeting so I searched for an outdoor space. Was busy when I arrived--4 floors up in a hip trendy 'guesthouse' or boutique hotel in non hipster terms. Loved the man who greeted me. Said it's full but please go be comfy in the lobby...ok. And he promptly brought me a cold sparkling rose. Very ok!!! Except for the teenage boys manning the front desk...nice enough but playing some you tube or TikTok that distracted from the ambience and the cool lounge music chosen by the management (which I happen to love). Shortly I was summoned and given a nice table in the late sun. A gorgeous and very sweet waitress brought me samples of red wine and yum--here I am w a good book. It's not too loud. It's lovely. The music is perfection. I posted the menus! Definitely coming back w the girls! read more

Initially they forgot about me, but made it up to me with a complimentary glass of wine and very good service. I ordered the crab roll which was good and the shrimp ceviche tostadas to go which we're really, really good! I tried to go back to get some the next day, but they were closed (it was really that good). To drink I had the sparkling (cool) and the Ravenous (not my fav). I thought it was another complimentary drink, but it was on my bill...I just paid it no problem. For desert I had the Ricotta Doughnuts. Overall it was a good experience, the food was good and the sunset view was beautiful. read more

I can't say I was dissatisfied nor disappointed with the service received at The Rooftop located in Healdsburg. The specialty cocktails were artistically hand crafted and mixed with the utmost care and precision. Masterfully crafted cocktails to say the least. Now I do not drink but I could tell just by watching the mixologist go to town on the drinks he was making that these cocktails were the real deal. I also interviewed the recipient of the cocktails sampled. "Very well balanced" were some of the choice words used to describe the final product. Unfortunately their truffle fries did fall very short of my expectations. The fries did not have even the slightest hint of truffle infused oil AT ALL, and they were relatively bland. It was very apparent from that moment forward that perhaps I would reserve this particular venue for a cocktail night out. Truffle fries are not hard to make, matter of fact it's probably the easiest thing you can throw together and receive endless praise for if you make them correctly. You simply throw some French fries in the fryer, then toss them in truffle infused oil, salt & pepper, Parmesan, BOOM! You have something that has the same effect as garlic bread at a dinner table. If these guys fell short on something so simple as an order of truffle fries that leaves me to question how I would react to the rest of the food items. Nonetheless the ambiance, service, location, and atmosphere were all above and beyond California Summer. It was gorgeous and that is primarily what my rating reflects. read more
