One of my favorite restaurants in Healdsburg. Staff is very friendly, food is amazing, and they are SO dog friendly. We were in Healdsburg to celebrate our anniversary. The Rooftop was exactly what we were looking for. It's on the fourth floor with outside seating. The ambiance is romantic with a nice view. Our Fraise 75 cocktails were on point and was accompanied by our choice of ceviche tostadas, flat iron steak and potatoes, as well as short rib sope. We even topped it off with the ricotta doughnuts and berry compote. Everything was delicious.We also enjoyed a glass of champagne and chatted with Javier and Diane. We almost missed this sweet spot overlooking downtown Healdsburg but we're glad we made it. We saw the sign in the hotel window and went upstairs to check it out. It's a nice space, it's not that high so you don't get a towering view, but it is a really refreshing place to sit and have a cocktail, wine or two. We just had wine/champagne which was great, so we can't speak to the food or cocktails though they looked nice. We seemed to have about three servers but all were nice and attentive. One star off for the bathroom on the floor near the bar. It seemed to be getting a lot of use and was kind of dirty. We retreated to the one downstairs in the hotel lobby. read more

The elevator permit expired 10/2020, the staff at the hotel not very friendly, we were ignored and had to figure out where to go on our own. The food was mediocre at best and overpriced, and the service was extremity slow. I'm always open to try new places, but I personally won't be recommending this place to anyone. read more

Making a review just to appreciate these fries right here! They were so crispy, flavorful, and the perfect bite to accompany some good drinks. These fries had the perfect balance of garlic parmesan goodness with onions on top. Simply a *chef's kiss* would highly recommend!! Decent drinks (at typical Heald$burg price$), and by all means order yourself a basket of truffle fries** -- highly recommended, unless you're overly-concerned about your carbo load. Service was polite and "just right". Nearby, but not neglecting, nor constantly in your face. The view isn't grandiose, but the fresh air is... refreshing. While not our main go-to, it's still on our list when we're in town (especially during the 3pm-6pm Happy Hour...) ** like 99.5% of any food mentioning "truffle", you're probably getting a lab-created chemical concoction rather than the real thing found by foraging porcine mammals. This is a new restaurant in Healdsburg and worth a visit for a beautiful view and a creative cocktail list. I would recommend the Citrus Cocktail and Yellowtail Tuna Tartare. Ordered this before dinner as a starter and it was the perfect shareable. The wait was about 30-45 minutes and would recommend trying to call in before you head over to get your name on the list if you can. Many restaurants in this area book up and close early so we found ourselves without much to do before our table was ready here. read more

Came here with some friends looking forward to having some good food. When we arrived here the place was amazingly decorated and very cute. As soon as we sit down we are greeted by Joseph who was incredibly kind and patient. I ordered some fries, Mama's Pozole, and an alcohol free drink. Joseph made me a custom drink because I told him I had tried some alcohol-free drinks in the past but they were all too bitter. The drink he made me was perfect. I loved it so much and I wish I could come more often. It tasted like strawberry lemonade with a hit of cider. Mama's Pozole tasted amazing and I loved their plating. It was very flavorful and the avocado was a great addition to it. The fries had an amazing texture to them also and had small bits of cilantro on it. 100/10, I extremely recommend this place, and I plan on coming soon the next time I visit. read more

We ordered 5 apps and two drinks...$160.00 so Healdsburg average price. Service was just ok. 20 min from order to first beer. Yes a draft beer. Had two apps served before cocktails arrived. Food was good, nice presentation the crispy pork belly stole the show. Wifes cocktail was bitter but she finished it. For a rosé and a Prosecco drink to be that bitter she wasn't expecting it. Kids had pork belly pizza, great flavor, but 75 percent chunks of fat... Pepperoni pizza was good Ahi Tuna was nice too Burrata salad nice flavors I really wanted to have a second beer but I didn't wanna wait 15 to 20 minutes for the second beer She offered a sample beer to try a different one, came 10 minutes later, We were pretty much done with our dinner when she came back to ask me if I wanted to another beer?! Low key vibes and fun drinks. It's a decent view although one side did the patio does overlook a cement wall. The French fries were super tasty and the staff was knowledgeable about gluten free options. The food was not the best but it's a more relaxed vibe than other rooftop bars in Healdsburg. The service was very slow to get 2 drinks, even tho they were not busy and had several servers. When we got our bill there was extra 3% charge. They explained it was "for the kitchen". We didn't order any food !! I don't agree with these extra surcharges. Just pay workers a decent wage. 4 solid stars for a beautiful rooftop view of the town of Healdsburg. My friend and I popped in here for lunch on our drive back from Healdsburg to San Francisco and it was the perfect little refreshment stop. This spot is located on the 4th floor of a hotel, so if my friend didn't frequent this town often, I probably would never have known about this bar. We opted to sit outside in the shade since it was a beautiful day out but we quickly realized how hot it was upon sitting outside for 30 minutes. We sucked it up though since we were heading back to cooler San Francisco. Our server was awesome and brought us ice waters to start. I ordered a glass of the rose and my friend ordered a mocktail since she was driving. We also shared a charcuterie platter, but subbed the charcuterie for more cheese, which was delicious. I don't remember all the cheeses that were on the platter, but the cheddar really stood out to me. Paired w/ the peach jam and crackers... YUM. It was a quick visit in - we came, we ate, we saw, we drank, we left. It was a perfect little afternoon pick me up and fueled us for the little drive back to San Fran. The three stars here are for the excellent staff. Warm and friendly service. The missing stars, because the drinks were so badly mixed. The old fashion was ok. However the cherry was mottled and that's just a no. It's not attractive. The greyhound was too strong. I would suggest a sprig of Rosemary also. The lemon drop was not mixed correctly. read more

We also had a food credit from the H2 Hotel that we were able to apply at the Rooftop since they are connected and just two doors down. This spot I believe is the highest restaurant in Healdsburg 4th Floor of the Harmon House Hotel. Wait staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. We had the fish tacos the carne asada and the truffle fries. Tacos were small but crispy and very tasty. The fries were also double fried crispy and delicious. The meat was bigger portion than expected cooked perfect and quite good in. The views from the outdoor dining area were wonderful but a bit breezy and cool in the shade. There is minimal indoor seating but it is mostly an outdoor eating experiences. Would certainly recommend for the views price and food. I read more

This is a five star place. Rooftop is in Healdsburg which has become a "bougie" town. We went in torn up jeans and flannels and were treated like kings and queens. We tried the Chef's choice (don't remember the name) but it was around $30/person and really worth it! We got the olives and the squash fries which were both delicious and a nice way to start the meal. We then got the Pork Belly, our waitress asked if there was anything in particular we wanted to try, which was really great! It had some pickled onions and fried garlic that made it just a bit more interesting. We then got the Potato+Herbed Pistou pizza. Loved whatever peppers/chili oil they used on it. And for dessert they gave us the s'mores to share. All and all we got 2 appetizers, 1 main, 1 pizza and a dessert that were all interesting and tasty for $60. Really a great deal. The rooftop itself is very nice and a nice place to do a little people watching. read more

For a Healdsburg restaurant it definitely did not hold up. The Rooftop is a really clever idea and right in the heart of downtown Healdsburg. It's a small space and I'm guessing even when COVID isn't happening, most of the tables are outside. If you're going to be an outside restaurant, you should probably be prepared for cold nights. They did have a few heaters around but even at limited capacity there weren't enough. You could see other tables side eyeing you when you got a heater and they didn't. This creates an awkward and cold experience. As most reviews mention, the staff is very pleasant. However, last night service was slow. We waited more than anything, especially when it came to getting our check. I had also ordered desert which never showed up till a waiter came back around looking baffled. It had been 20 minutes since I ordered it and my partner went in to order his drink since no one was coming around. The food was mediocre at best. Dan got the lobster BLT that was just missing something. It seemed a little bland. I ordered the Moroccan slider which was decent but again, needed something. We both got truffle fries and holy smokes were they salty! We had to ask for something to dip them in! The flavor wasn't bad but the salt... sheesh! The drinks were averaged priced and they were out of gin. Overall, the food was way too expensive for what you get. We would not come back for the food. If we were maybe walking around looking just to grab a drink... maybe. But there are other amazing places near by we'd go to first. read more

This place is extremely unprofessional. Do not waste your time trying to go here. We were told to wait an hour and we did and never heard from them, kept waiting. We were so hungry and after an hour and 10 minutes they told us they can't seat us at all. Shame on them for lying and misleading the client. My friends and I stumbled on this place while looking for a late lunch downtown. With all dining taking place outside, mostly on sidewalks, The Rooftop was a great retreat from noise and car exhaust. Most of the seating has some covering from the awnings, and the tables are nicely spaced out. To be honest we came with some serious doubts on whether the food would be any good, as many restaurants with prime locations lack interesting and quality dishes. But our doubts were quickly put to rest when the giant bowl of shishito peppers, perfectly cooked with a yummy lemon aioli sauce, was served. And it just kept getting better from there. They have nice cocktails and although the bar and spirit section isn't extensive they have a quality selection. The heirloom tomato salad and the seafood plate I think were the star dishes for us. The tomatoes are in season and the dressing was delicious. Plus, our server Ali was fantastic! Very attentive and gracious. We will definitely recommend and return next time we're in the area. read more
