Yo this place is a find! Right on the Main Street in downtown La Mesa... Chill positive vibe... Lots to choose from on tap as well.. Bartender super cool Pool table inside Reasonable prices Pretty spacious inside and out They have an outside patio area out back, with lots of tables, lights and a fire pit.... This is my groups new spot!!! Yeah score Just wish they served appetizers But they offer fresh popped popcorn

Service is top notch, and the crowd is awesome. They allow dogs as long as they're respectful unlike another spot a couple doors down.

After a quick look around, I took a seat at the bar. The bartender had her back to me; I could see her texting, then switching to Instagram. A woman in a Christmas sweater greeted me before the bartender did and had to remind her--twice--that I was there before she finally put her phone down and acknowledged me. Bartender: Hello, thanks for waiting. How are you? Me: Thirsty. Bartender: What can I get you? Me: Bourbon and water, please. Bartender: What kind of bourbon? Me: The well is fine, thanks. Bartender: Jack is-- inaudible Bartender: Do you want a double? It's only $3.50 more. Me: No thanks. Bartender: You know, be nice. The bartender walks away to make the drink and immediately complains about me to her friends sitting directly across the bar. One of them rolls his eyes at me. Me: Hey, I was nice enough to wait while you were on your phone. Bartender: No, you weren't. I slide my drink back to her. Me: You can just give my drink to your friends across the bar. Bartender: I will. I walk out. The eye-roller stares at me as I leave. Acknowledge guests, stay professional, and don't complain about customers to friends sitting right in front of them. Promote the girl in the Christmas sweater. And if Eye Ball wants to talk about it sometime, we can meet elsewhere for a drink. My treat.

We did not have a reservation, so we stood outside in the sun for about 30 minutes or so waiting for a table that could accommodate 8 people. I didn't plan the event myself, so I don't know if they even take reservations. If they do, then that's our fault. It is an open air concept, so it's very hot in the restaurant. You sit on hard chairs with a bicycle under the table that limits leg room. There is no shortage of hillbilly music to listen too as you dine on the ill seasoned subpar food. The beer menu sucks. Thankfully I didn't need to use the restroom. Who knows what I would have encountered there. The only positive thing I can think of is that the employees are friendly and accommodating. I would not recommend this place to anyone, nor would I return. If the restaurant offered to pay for a meal with drinks for our family, I still would not return.

Sign said to seat yourself so we grabbed a table in the center of the room. There are two bathrooms that are gender neutral and inside had a ramp so it could fit a wheelchair or strollers. Waitress was very kind and got us menus. It's a pretty straight forward menu with breakfast and lunch on one side and dinner on the other. I think it's all reasonably priced the only small complaint is burgers do not come with fries or onion rings and they are a $4.50 add on making most of the burger meals $15 plus. But I understand the current market is making things go up. My burger was delicious and cooked well. I got my eggs over easy and they did it perfectly. The jalapeño burger was good nothing crazy to write about though. The buffalo fries were delicious; it comes with blue cheese crumble and dip on the side which is perfect. Also bacon crumpled over the fries. Everything overall was great and for 2 people it was $60 total. Great bar/restaurant to grab a bite in and watch he game and support local business!
