It's listed as dog friendly, but it isn't. My only suggestion is to change that to not confuse people who check that before hand.

Simply delish. We…read moreused to KnB a many years ago... where have we been!? This is one of those night... everything was firing on all cylinders. Our tequila expert, Bruce was very efficient and so nice. He helped us with our order. fair warning... don't get the elote, because if you do, it's game over! Our main was the mustard greens and the salmon special. The salmon was prepared perfectly and delicate, the salad super flavorful. Where can you go for dinner have a bottle of wine and keep the bill near $100. I've added it to the circle of trust and will be back next week.

I came across KNB on Yelp when trying to find something I hadn't been to yet. KNB Bistro is in a small strip mall next the Windmill Farms market in San Carlos, just off College Avenue. Unknown to me until my arrival, KNB stands for Keg N Bottle, for the bottle shop attached to the bistro. I met up with a friend on a Monday evening right after work. I had noted a happy hour menu online. When I arrived, I checked in at the front and chose an outdoor table. I will say that it was pleasant with the heating, and despite being in a strip mall with a parking lot in front of us, it was actually a nice place to hang out. We spoke to our server about the happy hour menu. Actually the red white wines that were on special by the glass were wines that I enjoy. However, as they were offering a "no corkage special", we decided to walk through the bottle shop and choose a bottle to share. The bottle shop was really impressive and can easily rival some of the large chain liquor stores in the area. After a long time walking around, we chose a lovely Italian Red Blend. However, had they not had the "no corkage special", we would not have had that experience, as I simply would never pay an extra $10 for the bottle. For food, we shared the mushroom flatbread. I chose the happy hour cauliflower bites and my friend chose the happy hour Brussels sprouts. The flatbread was delicious, but I think it could have used more mushrooms. I enjoyed the flavor of the cauliflower bites, but I wished that they had been less battered. I really would give 3.5 stars as the food was good, but not great. However, I chose four stars as I enjoyed my overall experience and would definitely go back. It is a decent happy hour and I believe that it is really a good deal. There were a couple of salads on the menu that sounded really good and I would like to try one of those next time.

First time coming to this iconic San Diego wing spot/sports bar. The interior wasn't very bright…read morebut you could see and there were a good amount of TVs to watch the games they were playing. I was seated quickly on this bar table thing (not the actual bar) and it was high up. The prices were pretty expensive at $12.50 for five wings, not including any sides/sauces. I came here on a Monday and got the Monday AYCE wing special. The AYCE made it more worth it but still a bit pricy at $31 per person. For AYCE, it comes with fries or tater tots, a sauce, 10 wings, and some carrots and celery for your first order. After that, you get 5 wings per refill. The wings were a good size though the skin wasn't really crispy or anything. I tried buffalo, lemon pepper, and flaming honey mustard. Buffalo and lemon pepper are my go to flavors but I didn't really enjoy any of the flavors I tried. There were an overwhelming amount of flavors so it was a bit hard to choose on the spot with AYCE but now I wish I tried some different ones. Our waitress was pretty nice and checked in on us a good amount. Overall, I felt like the food was just okay, and for the value made it less good. My rating is a bit higher because of the service. I might come back to try some other flavors since this is such an iconic San Diego chain.

We were seated by a woman who seemed mostly checked out. Not rude but didn't see to care much. Our server was nice and efficient. My wings came out five minutes before my boyfriends tenders came out. Never good. They need an expedited to help with this. The wings were solid good and the tendered were outstanding. That said $54 for some chicken and fries is a lot. And the 4-% service fee -well, you know how I feel about that. It's a rip and it should not be done charge more. Be honest. Now the cringe.... We were seated where you could see the kitchen window and soda machine. Yay! They always used the ice scoop. Well done. But then they picked up unwrapped straws from the top (where your mouth goes) with their bare hands. Not sanitary at all. The food is good if overpriced. The service is ok and the health safety aspects seem to be hit and miss.

The bartender Olivia wanted to see my cat and told her manager Jessica. Customer service is AMAZING, vibe is AMAZING, and food is AMAZING! I've had their subs to go and not gotten around to eat it until about 1 1/2 hours later, and the bread still wasn't soggy!
