The vibes at this bar has better customer service than the one next door. Unless Ro is working they are both are enjoyable.

Music can kinda blow at times but that's mostly the old guy slipping in songs on the jukebox thru his phone app.

Stopped in last night to celebrate my husband's birthday. Although Del's doesn't take reservations, we were able to snag a few tables right next to the kids play area. It was perfect since we had so many kids in our party. All the food was delicious -- from their baked beans, corn bread, onion rings, and to their barbecue selection. We ordered the 12 party meal plus some appetizers for the kids such as the Mac & cheese and chicken tenders. Everyone was commenting on how good everything was. Honestly, this has become one of our favorite barbecue spots! Their bbq sauce is also really good, it had the right amount of sweetness and slight tang without being too thick. Would definitely recommend to anyone who just wants to watch the game by themselves or bring a large party. Thank you Del's for making it a memorable night!

I'll probably remove this rant eventually, just thought ownership should know …read more I haven't been here in years. The remodeling looks great, but I miss the old bartenders. After a quick look around, I took a seat at the bar. The bartender had her back to me; I could see her texting, then switching to Instagram. A woman in a Christmas sweater greeted me before the bartender did and had to remind her--twice--that I was there before she finally put her phone down and acknowledged me. Bartender: Hello, thanks for waiting. How are you? Me: Thirsty. Bartender: What can I get you? Me: Bourbon and water, please. Bartender: What kind of bourbon? Me: The well is fine, thanks. Bartender: Jack is-- inaudible Bartender: Do you want a double? It's only $3.50 more. Me: No thanks. Bartender: You know, be nice. The bartender walks away to make the drink and immediately complains about me to her friends sitting directly across the bar. One of them rolls his eyes at me. Me: Hey, I was nice enough to wait while you were on your phone. Bartender: No, you weren't. I slide my drink back to her. Me: You can just give my drink to your friends across the bar. Bartender: I will. I walk out. The eye-roller stares at me as I leave. Acknowledge guests, stay professional, and don't complain about customers to friends sitting right in front of them. Promote the girl in the Christmas sweater. And if Eye Ball wants to talk about it sometime, we can meet elsewhere for a drink. My treat.

I've tried some of the other locations (liberty station especially can sometimes overcook their wings) but this location always gets it right. The location is fairly large- many tables and a bar area but it does fill up on nights where there are games being shown. There is sometimes a bit of a wait but always a good vibe here. The servers are friendly and check in throughout the meal.

I was seated quickly on this bar table thing (not the actual bar) and it was high up. The prices were pretty expensive at $12.50 for five wings, not including any sides/sauces. I came here on a Monday and got the Monday AYCE wing special. The AYCE made it more worth it but still a bit pricy at $31 per person. For AYCE, it comes with fries or tater tots, a sauce, 10 wings, and some carrots and celery for your first order. After that, you get 5 wings per refill. The wings were a good size though the skin wasn't really crispy or anything. I tried buffalo, lemon pepper, and flaming honey mustard. Buffalo and lemon pepper are my go to flavors but I didn't really enjoy any of the flavors I tried. There were an overwhelming amount of flavors so it was a bit hard to choose on the spot with AYCE but now I wish I tried some different ones. Our waitress was pretty nice and checked in on us a good amount. Overall, I felt like the food was just okay, and for the value made it less good. My rating is a bit higher because of the service. I might come back to try some other flavors since this is such an iconic San Diego chain.

Ordered Lunch Special #5, chose burger and tomato salad. Burger is a BURGER, meaty, cheesy, garlic aioli all over the place, delicious. The tomato salad is even better than burger, pieces of tomato, cucumber, red and green bell pepper all coated with balsamic vinegarette was cool, fresh, and delicious. Ordered cheese slice to go, solid Detroit slice, tangy red sauce, thick fluffy dough, crispy caramelized cheesy corners. Large selection of 30 beers. Plenty of specials with happy hours, hourly specials, and more. Definitely will return to explore menu

The food was stellar as always. The service was great. What was not great was the fries came out and about 5 minutes later the wings came out (my order) and 10 minutes after that the pizza came out (my boyfriends order). He had to watch me eat (or I let me food get cold) and then I had to watch him eat. Always better to have all the food come out at the same time. Just not a great experience with the food timing but I stil love this place
