I want to scoop them off and put googly eyes on them. But I won't. Because I eat them too fast. And then there's the ranch. Ohhhh the ranch. If this ranch were a person, I'd propose under a sunset. I could BATHE in it. If my bathtub ever mysteriously smells like garlic and dreams, don't ask questions. Just know I'm happy. Zero stars. Incompetent people. Phil the manager does not care about their customers or own up for their mistakes. They can't be bothered to figure out if they can deliver to you when they have the address but instead will waste 40 mins of your time, just to call you to say, too bad sorry but you have your refund so you should be fine. Delivery guy said he would deliver to us but then they went back on their word, wasting more of our time. Keep in mind we are only 12 mins away. Good customer service would be to own up to their mistake and deliver the pizza when they said they would. Instead, Phil says it's "no one's fault" when it is so obviously their fault. Gives a lame excuse of a lie saying they thought it was in Mt Lebanon when I specifically said Bethel Park twice. And then while having a conversation will just hang up on you. So they can't do their jobs properly (what else are they messing up if they can't even google an address), went back on their promise to deliver twice, and won't own up to their mistake in an honest way. These were just some of the ways that would have made a customer less irate even if they didn't deliver but they failed at every step. The owner needs to make a note of this and implement some sort of accountability. What's funny is we are moving into their delivery zone and will never recommend them to anyone. We probably dodged a bullet anyways because my sister in law told me when I told her what happened here that they got pizza from here once and not only was there a hair in it but the crust was limp and soggy. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I hope saving themselves 5 mins of driving was worth it for them. read more

I thought it was CRAZY that this place only has 3.9 stars and 21 reviews. This is our go-to pizza place. It's always absolutely amazing, everyone is so nice, and they never forget little things you order (like sides of ranch - lots of it, because it's SO good here). I'm uploading pictures & videos from some of the times we've ordered. Our go-to's are: buffalo chicken pizza; supreme pizza; and cheese pizza with banana peppers and mushrooms. We have also gotten the italian hoagie a few times, and it is also delicious like the rest of it. The picture I took is less than half of the whole hoagie. I wanted a pizza just for myself and didn't want something too big, so I was glad to see this pizza place had small size pizzas. They also had a white pizza option which looked interesting. I placed an order over the phone and was told it would be 20 minutes. I came a little earlier than the 20 minutes and the pizza was ready. The price was good, $7.99. I really liked the pizza. They crust was very light and flaky, almost like a pastry, and the white pizza had a nice garlic flavor without too much cheese. There were also some sliced tomatoes on it. It was just enough for one person. This is a strictly take out and delivery place. The workers were real friendly. Their menu is good, with a selection of different pizzas, sandwiches and side orders. It's a good place to have in the neighborhood. read more

Since they don't deliver as far as Beechview and offer no dine-in option, Kay and I picked up a small pizza and two "Untouchable" sandwiches this evening for dinner and are not disgruntled over doing so. The Pizza Company is a small-scale local chain that exists primarily in the South Hills of the city. This particular location has been here for so long I forget when it opened. Look for a humble structure of stone with the franchise's trademark: a diminutive green neon sign. Their pizza, which we had with feta and black olives, possessed a crust that somewhat parallels toasted Italian bread and features convex edges. The mozzarella had a bit of zing to it (a la string cheese) as did the red sauce. I wouldn't call it "ho-hum" at all. Pizza Co. makes a perfectly competent and edible pie. The "Untouchable" sandwich is one of multiple Primanti Brothers forgeries found throughout Western Pennsylvania, and as far as I can taste, it's a very good one. Instead of slices of Italian bread, the meats (steak, ham, salami, capicola, bacon, meatballs, and turkey are your choices, and I'm not kidding about the last three), provolone cheese, vinaigrette slaw, and french fries are placed inside of a velutinous yet stout hoagie roll. My sandwich included the steak, and I found it to be as succulent and savory as gyro meat. The fries were done steak-style and were as starchy as one would expect. The slaw could have kicked a little more ass, however, but no matter, this was what Ben Reilly was to Peter Parker; a worthy clone. The Pizza Company is welcome company, anytime. read more

Ordered takeout (delivered by DoorDash) - 8 slice Spicy Pepperoni Pizza and Philly Steak and Cheese. The food was awesome. Pizza was cooked (NY Style) with the air pockets in the crust - my personal favorite and a sign that it is truly hand tossed (I believe) and not a crust already made or out of a box and formed. It had the right ratio of Cheese and Sauce. Topped with slightly thicker cut of pepperoni. Philly Cheese Steak were commented on by another reviewer. They are very good. I am not sure where the get their buns, but they were very good. A large amount of meat and cheese - again the ration was right. I took the advantage to add mushrooms. It's pizza, and my family prefers Pizza Company over the big chains, and other local places. We used to order from the Potomac location, since they delivered to our address, but since they've closed, the Library Rd. store is our go to shop. The wings, and breadsticks have been given a thumbs up by the kids. Pizza has been consistent, whether we're ordering a cheese pizza, or something with extra toppings like pepperoni, or Italian sausage. I ordered a pizza Thursday night, and it was the tastiest Pizza Company pizza my husband and I ate. The two keys to the superb flavor - great ingredients and a well-baked crust. Either you raised the temp on the oven or had extra time to cook a fantastic crust. If this is what new ownership tastes like, bring it on! You have 2 new steady customers. Remember that saying, that sex is like pizza - even when it's so-so, it's good? That pretty much sums it up. There's nothing appallingly wrong with the Pizza Co. pizza. It's just kind of ho-hum. With that said, I enjoyed the chili poppers a lot. (Which were inexplicably wrapped with the ranch sauce for delivery. Mmmmm....hot, sweaty ranch dressing.) The delivery guy was really friendly. Delivery time was unimpressive. A full 45 minutes mid-afternoon, and I live two blocks away? That's what I get for being lazy, probably. Karmic pizza. The Pizza Company does not deliver to my house (close to Upper St. Clair), so because we were already on the neighborhood of Library Rd, we decided to stop by for a pizza. The local is nothing special, a small store, not too dirty, not too clean either. It looks a bit old and 'abandoned', but that is a harsh word. Lets just say not too kept. There is no place for dine -in. About the staff, they were OK, but did looked a bit bored and not too friendly. Maybe tired from the heat inside the shop? Finally, on the food, it was mmmh. It was edible, but not really anything to knock me off my socks. After a while, the crust got too hard, and was impossible to eat. The crust is my favorite part of a pizza. Cheese was a bit greasy too. Not bad, but I can definitely do better finding another pizza shop next time. read more

The Pizza Company is our usual pizza place. Their crust is chewy and tastes amazing...I absolutely love the breadsticks. The sauce is great and they have the best pepperoni; it's crispy on the edges and it curls up into little bowls on top of the pizza. Deliveries have always been on time. I can't give five stars, however, because of the inconsistency in the cooking. When the pizza, breadsticks and cheesesticks are fully cooked, they're amazing...but there have been several times that the food wasn't left in the oven/grease long enough, maybe because they were in a rush, and it's disappointing when you're expecting "amazing" but only receive "meh". read more
