Ordered pick up on a busy Friday night. They don't answer their phone. Must either place order online or in person and wait. 16" cheese (was free with coupon) 14" Shadyside Special: loaded with too many toppings. The thin center of the pizza is too wimpy to handle all the toppings. Tastes just like Dominos Pizza. Sorry. read more

Great Buffalo Pizza! I add broccoli Spinach and jalapeno peppers for added spice! Awesome!

I ordered a chicken Caesar salad . I was charged $28.00 for a styrofoam container full of at least 30 croutons!!! I've counted five little rubbery chunks of chicken in the mix of 30 croutons. If your business is doing this poorly maybe you should just shut down. read more

We ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza about an hour and 45 minutes before they closed for the night. The guys working looked at us like we were the worst people in the world for wanting two slices of pepperoni pizza when there was only one (that looked old) available. We agreed to wait 7 minutes for a fresh pizza. They served us one fresh slice and the old one. I ordered a third slice of pizza so my husband and I could each have fresh slices (whatever). Pretty sure we overpaid for three slices of pizza and a 2L soda but I was over it. Unimpressed. Pizza was pretty mid. read more

Got a plain cheese pizza for me and my partner. Awful sauce. Way too much cheese. Very bland flavor. Plus, the woman who took my order was so rude for no reason whatsoever. Is taking my order and my money an inconvenience for you?! We all have bad days, so I'll be generous and assume she was having a really bad day. Still, we ALL have to push our frustrations aside when dealing with clients, customers, etc. in our jobs. So how about you try growing up like a big girl and start treating others less like trash and more like the human beings they are.... Never going back! read more

Located in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh is the small & unassuming takeout pizzeria known as Pizzeria Perfectta. I may be a bit biased, but this was our go-to spot for pizza when I had family living in the area, so I always make it a point to hit them up whenever I'm back in Pittsburgh. Pizza quality has been fairly consistent throughout the years. While it doesn't compare to the quality of pizzerias in the NY/NJ area, it's perfectly solid to satisfy any pizza craving, and probably one of the best pies you can find in Pittsburgh. One of the things which sets Pizza Perfectta apart is their excellent customer service and business practices. They proactively offer discounts if you order direct from them, and show a genuine kindness and appreciation for your business when you chat with them when you go to pick up. The employees light up with a smile when I tell them I make it a point to order food from them every time I visit Pittsburgh. I'm happy to be a repeat customer over the years and recommend others give them a try. read more

They aim to please, whether pizza, hoagies, or their calzone offerings. My own favorite is the split toppings: Hawaiian on one side and pepperoni on the other. Good resource for the neighborhood! read more

My order was horrible, I ordered my food on June 4th 2026 at approximately 9:30 p.m., when I place my order I waited 15 minutes before it entering the pizza perfecta location, and from the door my order wasn't right, I had to wait a half an hour because the meatballs that I ordered for my daughter wasn't on the receipt but I already paid them for the meatballs with cheese that was an additional $3, I get home and realize that the meatballs didn't have no cheese on them so I proceeded the call to representative hopefully they rectified order the first thing he said to me was there's nothing we can do, so proceeded and said I want my money back, the representative said no all I can do is give you a discount of $3 I said I want my money back and I'm on my way to come get my money back you can have this order, because the chicken parmesan had the meat sauce on the outside of the cheese and it made the bread mushy soggy like soup, so I immediately rush back to the store ask the gentleman for my money back he was mad cuz I kept saying I want my refund I want my refund this order is horrible, I never had this happen at this location. So I proceeded the call this morning June 10th 2026 and the guy that took my order will not let me speak to the manager because he does not want to get fired so I'm writing this to inform anybody that orders from this location don't order from this location customer service is horrible food is terrible and I will never go back again.!!!!!!! read more

Solid 4 pizza. Some friends came in town for the weekend, and one ordered 2 pies from Pizza Perfectta simply because it was close by and we were all starving! The first pizza: pepperoni, green pepper - and the 2nd: gluten free pepperoni, banana pepper. The toppings were tasty and (happily) spread evenly across the pizzas. My GF friend thought the GF pizza could've been cooked longer for a crispier crust - but again, the toppings were good. It won't knock your socks off, but Pizza Perfectta is good pizza! Alas, I'm still on my quest for blow-the-doors off pizza in the Burgh... read more

A perfect example of this sort of pizza. The slice I got immediately brought me back to eating at a pizzeria with a pinball machine and pop in paper cups. Pure nostalgia in the best way. I tried their wings and the gluten free pizza with the dairy free cheese and it was pretty good. I enjoyed the pizza. The wings tasted good, but lately when I've been out to eat the wings size hasn't been impressive. The staff was nice. A decent takeout spot! I ordered a gluten free cheese pizza online for pick up. The pizza was ready in 20 minutes and ready when I arrived. The pizza was a good size for the price. The gluten free crust was pliable and not a stiff cauliflower crust that is typically offered. The inside is small - only 1 or 2 tables, so I'd recommend delivery or pickup. read more

Love the wings here! They are big in size and the buffalo sauce is very good! Its not your typical buffalo sauce but still spicy and delicious. I do think it can be a bit expensive for what it is and some of the menu items are worth the price. I don't have a photo but one time I ordered chicken fingers and it was just a couple fried chicken patties. It ended up being ok just not what I expected. read more

The first time I ordered from here, the pizza was good, but not great. There was something lacking in terms of taste in the veggie pizza. The second time, however, the Tuscan pizza was perfect! Fresh and chewy crust with good amount of chicken and artichoke. I did not find the roasted red peppers which was in the description on this pizza though. I cannot describe how great this pizza tasted when it was hot! I will definitely order from this spot again! read more

Is it so hard to keep the mushrooms off the side of the pizza I specifically asked for no mushrooms? $50 for a pizza and it was wrong.

We ordered the Greek Pizza and garlic knots. The pizza was good. The toppings were tasty and the dough was well-baked and seasoned. But, save your money and avoid the garlic knots. They were just cooked pieces of dough (cut up and not even tied into knots). They only covered it in garlic powder seasoning so the strong garlic flavor I was expecting was just not there. read more

I'm from Jersey/New York area. So I typically talk smack about the pizza in Pittsburgh. But this place is sweet! The first place I go for Pizza, or just good comfort food. For pizza, you are definitely food with plain, but they have typical toppings as well. They also have great fries, chicken fingers, garlic knots, mozz sticks, etc. Wings are to die for. Their sandwiches are great too, personally I go with the chicken/bacon/ranch. The staff are awesome too, always friendly but straight to it. So happy it's right around the corner! read more

This shop is right around the block from my friend's house so I've been here quite a few times and been able to try the chicken wings, pizza and more. They're quick which has been especially appreciated on nights that I'm very hungry or more so hangry. The pizza does have a spicy kick which I really enjoy. No issues, no complaints. Good for late-night snacking! read more

Pizza and pasta are pretty good. Cinnamon sticks are actually amazing. I was bummed that the garlic knots aren't garlic knots at all. They're literally fried pieces of dough that in no way resemble garlic knots. I'd get again and just avoid getting "garlic knots" next time read more

I have to update my review because since, I have been ordering from Pizza Perfectta for years and they are consistent and delicious! I love their salads (they're huge!), their pizza is very good, and their wings are amazing. What I especially love is that it is so easy to order delivery - only a $1 fee!
