You could miss it not looking like a restaurant and focused on the road spitting as your enter Springdale but for far too long this gem was left untapped by us. We have come to love their food and while we might be on this ridiculous lockdown so we cannot dine in their take out/Togo service is fantastic. They offer delivery locally as well but we like to go for the short ride to grab it. The pizza is phenomenal though at times can be a little extra oily/greasy even as just a cheese pizza but overall the taste is killer. My wife likes their pizza and pierogies. She had their Italian sub and wasn't a big fan. She said it was ok but not her favorite. I have also had a few subs and while their chicken Parm sub is good it's not the best I have and probably doesn't rank top 5. Maybe in top 10, maybe not. We have also tried their breadsticks which are ok but not something we would order regularly. We are looking forward to dining in and trying more of the options they have. It's hard when pizza is a family favorite and money is tight. An XL 1 topping pickup special pizza for 14.54 with tax for dinner is hard to beat. read more

I like when the schools use their hoagies for fundraisers. They're reasonably priced. The pizza is pretty good and they had a nice upstairs area that was unexpected the last time I was there. Nothing fancy. Just comfortable area to eat and talk. read more

Pizza was standard... I would recommend asking for your pie well-done! They give you a spicy marinara sauce on the side. I ordered the xxlarge pepperoni pizza which was around 14.50 2.99 per topping. Pizza was just like the voters of 100.7 said as it was voted best pizza from their listeners. Order when you walk in. Then head upstairs where the second floors is equipped with enough seating for about 24 people. It is set up for a large group, however, with long tables set up picnic style. It is equipped with a pool table and dartboard. Pizza crust was crispy enough to hold all of the sauce and meat on the top without going limp. Yum! We had pizza from this spot delivered in to work and while I'm pretty faithful to one spot, I feel like The high number of quality pizza spots in Pittsburgh is overlooked. Both pizzas were a bit thin on the crust, but I thought the dough was made and done really well. It had that crispness on the outside and little of chewiness that I really like in pizza. I tried some of the basic cheese pizza and again, the thin dough was pretty nice. The sauce tasted nice and I think they did a good job of getting the sauce to cheese to dough ratio. The cheese had a subtle tang to it that I thought had a really nice flavor. While I enjoyed the plain cheese pizza, the clear favorite of everybody was the chicken, bacon, ranch pizza. The bacon and chicken that was used seemed to be a step up in quality from what I've come to expect on pizzas. It wasn't just some bacon bits scattered on the pizza which is what I've just come to expect. There was a creamy sauce that definitely added to the flavor and it was served with a side of ranch that I thought tasted pretty good. I'm not very big on ranch in general, but I did like the style that they served with the pizza. If you're looking for a new spot to get pizza, I'd say they're certainly worth a shot. read more

I called to place a delivery order about a month ago. I asked what the soup of the day was & was told it was Roasted Red Pepper soup. Because I'd never heard of Roasted Red Pepper soup & because I'm a picky eater, I asked what all was in it. The guy on the phone said it had beef, rice & (of course) roasted red peppers in it. I told him that sounded like Stuffed Pepper soup, one of my favorites. He said that's exactly what it was, they just call it Roasted Red Pepper. I ordered it & loved it. Every time since then that I've called to place an order I've asked what the soup of the day is hoping to be able to order more of that soup. But until tonight it's always been a different soup. Tonight when I placed my delivery order, they had it, so I ordered a quart of it for $11. As soon as I opened the bag, I knew it wasn't the right soup. It had a totally different color. This soup look more like tomato basil soup. I called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. When I asked him about it he was very rude. He said that it was definitely Roasted Red Pepper soup. When I explained about the last time he said that whoever told me about the soup evidently gave me the wrong name of it. He said they have Roasted Red Pepper soup and they also have a Stuffed Pepper soup. Ok, there's the reason for the misunderstanding. Instead of asking how we can fix this, the OWNER told us we should've known the difference & therefore tonight we should've been expecting exactly what we got. I tried to explain that I was expecting to get the same soup as last time because both times I was told they had Roasted Red Pepper soup. He was rude, demeaning, condescending & had absolutely no customer service skills. He actually even said if we'd bothered to pay attention to the signs hanging all of the inside of the restaurant then we would've know all about the soups. This was a delivery order just as all my other orders have been for the past 2yrs so how would I know anything about signs inside the restaurant?? I've worked in restaurants for years & know this is not how u treat your guests. The customers are not to blame for his employees not knowing the correct name for the soups. If they had, this would've never happened tonight. But, mistakes get made & when they do, it's his job as the owner to fix them, not to blame the guests, yell at them or treat them badly. It's a shame, because overall I enjoy their food. But I will not solicit any business that talks that badly to their guests. I hope he treats his employees better! The only positive thing was the delivery driver Brandon. He was so polite, courteous & apologetic even though none of it was his fault. Maybe Chuck, the owner, should have Brandon teach him how to treat his paying guests. read more

Heard from my hairdresser that they had good pizza. Perhaps their original style pizza, but we were not happy with the white pizza. Tasted like they used salad dressing. Very unpleasant. The dough was good. Shame about the flavor. read more

I would happily bump this to 5 but I'm saddened they won't simply deliver right across the bridge into mount Vernon. La nova which is further down, delivers here yet From Italy won't... Makes no sense to me. We love from Italy pizza but I can't give it 5 stars when they won't realize they are losing business here in this area to La Nova which is even further down then they are, a shame. If they'd deliver here, easily 5 stars. Edit: What will it take to get these guys to deliver across the bridge? The ride from Mount Vernon to From Italy is about 5 minutes, I just can't understand why they don't want that business. Just had them again the other day and I absolutely hate driving to this place when it is such a short delivery route for them. read more

Love the pizza here! This little pizza place located in Springdale is a great place for take out. They have not been around for very long but they seemed to have gained lots of love very quickly! The menu consists of a lot of yummy choices. We ordered thin crust pizza with Tomatoes and onions which was so good! The guys that worked there were very nice and helpful as well. Yeah this place is ballin. The pizza here is really good. Voted best pizza by 100.7's voters. You can sit down to eat in this place if you want. The sauce is really something special. Totally completes the pizza in my opinion. Crust is great. My biggest gripe with this place is they won't deliver to New Kensington. Even though it's like 3 miles away. The only way they'll deliver to New Kensington is if you are a business and not a residential customer. read more

Local owned (which always is better) I tend to get the white Pizza with mushrooms and black olives. They are quite generous with the toppings which is a plus! My family really enjoys white pizza with tomatoes. We've eaten white pizza from shops throughout the Allegheny Valley. "From Italy's" white with extra tomato is by far the very best any of us have ever eaten, including the white from other shops in Pittsburgh and even out of state. We ordered an Italian Hoagie for Lunch, and were completely unhappy with the sandwich. The bun was pitifully dry, the meat not so fresh and our request for the mayo and itallian dressing in packets on the side was completely ignored and added directly on the sandwich. Have to say, we agreed it was just the worst Hoagie. To top it off, the last time we ordered a Pizza for pick up, our pizza had to be made as we waited. No more repeat business for us !!! read more
