It is absolutely amazing and impressive that this Sir Pizza is still in operation. I worked there for a bit 45 years ago, while in high school. I still make a point to visit every time that am in Pittsburgh. The pizza's taste is unique to Sir's and is excellent. The service that we had on this last visit was also great and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance of the restaurant brings back a ton of memories.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have nothing but good things to say about this place for a number of reasons. Especially the pizza!

Quick little spot to grab pizzas, pastas and hoagies in the west view area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop setting has a cool old school diner vibe, and the staff is very friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They're known for having square pizza slices, and offer a lot of variety. I enjoyed the Buffalo chicken plus the classic cheese pizzas. Sauces were tasty too! The 12-in hoagie is really big so consider splitting it if you're not that hungry or don't want leftovers.

We had a great first time at the original Sir Pizza. We had never been here so we were a little confused with what you do. You walk in and order at the counter. They will give you your drinks...they have beer...then will call you later to pick up your food from the counter while you pay. We ordered two small pizzas. One pizza was plain and the second pizza had pepperoni and sausage. Both pizzas were great but the one with toppings was my pick for sure! We ate about one and half pizzas and brought home the rest...great reheated the next day!

Our favorite - Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom & Tomato filets.

We love Sir Pizza and have been enjoying their funky small slices at this location for over 30 yrs. The staff is always so friendly even when the place is packed with families enjoying a pizza night. They have a great beer selection on tap and in bottles/cans too. They keep the tables clean and get the food out nice and hot.

I had driven past this Sir Pizza a couple of times and felt curious to try a new pizza place. My husband walked inside the business and ordered one 14-inch Royal Feast pizza for a pre-tip amount of $23. The employees said that the pizza would be ready for pickup in about 20 minutes, and it was ready then. My husband said that the employees were courteous. We ate the pizza at home. According to the menu, a Royal Feast pizza is supposed to blend pepperoni, mushrooms, red and green peppers, onions, and sausage, but we received few ingredients other than the sausage. Most importantly, the pizza tasted *EXTREMELY SALTY*! My husband and I each ate parts of two slices, and we could not tolerate the amount of salt. Then we threw the rest of the pizza into our trash can! On the plus side, the crust was still crispy, even after a 15-minute ride home.

This place is interesting. You see it driving or walking by and it's calling your name inviting you to come in. The space is really big and you can tell it's been a staple and local favorite for decades. They were playing the Steeler game on the TV, just what I like to see. There's some cool arcade games in there too. We ordered a large cheese pizza and a calzone with mushrooms and pepperoni. The pizza is cut into squares/rectangles. I didn't love the pizza. The calzone was a little better, I liked how soft the dough was. The pepperoni was the kind that was crumpled up and it was hard to taste in the calzone. It was hard to taste the mushrooms too. Some people absolutely love this pizza. I don't think it's for me, but I hope you try it and like it! The staff was all wearing masks and they sanitized between customers. Customers were compliant with mask mandates too. You could tell the staff is like a family and they work well together. Overall, it's a neat place that I think is worth checking out if you're in the area.

We got the Royal Feast Pizza. I'm a huge fan of thin crust. This crust was perfectly thin and crispy. I loved all the toppings especially how tiny the sausage was on the pizza. It's a great pizza for sharing with the small square slices.

It boggles the mind that Sir Pizza has so many bad reviews. It's the perfect thin crust pizza place, and im thankful that Sir Pizza (Ross Township) goes to great lengths to bring delicious circular pizzas cut into squares to the North Hills of Pittsburgh. The crust is super thin, very flavorful cooked to perfection and crispy. Crispy but soft. Two very important factors in thin crust pizza. The ultimate reason I love sir pizza is that they crumble there pepperoni, I think it's the only pizza place I've ever been to that does it, and it is a game changer. No more greasy slices of underdone pepperoni - This pepperoni has a bite to it, it's just spicy enough, and it's super delicious. I've been going to the Ross Park location for the last month while my kitchen is being renovated, and I have not had a bad experience once. This transcends not only the pizza and other products sold by Sir Pizza, but also to all of the employees that sir pizza employs- he clearly has a very specific profile of the people that he wants working for him and does a great job of hiring folks who were kind, courteous, and simply there to do their job. It feels like I'm family. Not to mention the price! It's super affordable. Sir pizza clearly had his customers in mind when he set these prices. Don't listen to the haters, this is good pizza, and I'm a pizza aficionado, if there was a 12 step program for pizza I would be a candidate

Even though it was late we were greeted with exceptional customer service and were seated at a table. Our waiter, Remi with an I and not a Y was absolutely fabulous. He made great suggestions and the food did not disappoint. I ordered the 16 inch pepperoni with bacon. My daughter ordered the pepperoni roll and my wife ordered the meatballs and 2 Bianca slices. My wife's name is also Bianca so a double bonus. Our food came out about 15 minutes later and everything was piping hot. To my surprise the pepperoni came with the real bacon strips on top and not your average bacon bits. The sourdough is top notch as well. I ate 6 of the 8 slices while my daughter ate two along with her pepperoni roll. My daughter enjoyed her roll but did wish it had more cheese. My wife enjoyed her meatballs. They give you 4 and are a decent size. She was only able to eat 3. The Bianca slice is a healthy thick slice. Overall, we enjoyed our time at Driftwood. The service was OUTSTANDING (Remi). The food was good. We ended up staying 20 minutes past closing and didn't notice any change in customer service. This place is definitely worth a shot.

I placed my order on their website and it was easy; I was able to pay using my Apple Pay, which was a plus. It's on a dilapidated brick road that you essentially have to drive up at a crawl speed to prevent your car from rattling a part, and there's rarely parking. HOWEVER, somehow, this adds to the charm. The journey makes the reward that much better, I suppose. When you enter the pizzeria, it feels like how a pizzeria should. It's small and noisy, and the smells are overpowering. The staff is too busy for small talk. They're making dough (see what I did there?). I love it. The sauce is sweet, which isn't how I typically want a pizza sauce to taste, but it's also what makes their pizza so unique. You won't find another pizza that tastes like this. We were told there would be a wait, but our pizza was ready right when they said it would be. The staff was also extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Parking was a little tricky because of the location, but it was definitely worth it! The standout feature of this pizza for me was the flavor of the cheese (especially when paired with onions) that combination was easily my favorite part. They use a very generous, thick layer of cheese, which creates a rich and indulgent pizza. The cheese is quite oily and can slide off the crust, so personally the amount of cheese and oil was a little heavier than my usual preference. However, the chewy crust holds up well to the toppings, and there was still something really addictive about the overall flavor and texture of that cheese. One thing that surprised me was how good it was the next day when eaten cold. I actually prefer this pizza cold. The cheese and onions complemented each other even more, and the pizza felt a little less oily while allowing the flavors to shine even more. Overall, this is definitely a top-tier pizza place in the area. If you enjoy a flavorful, cheesy pizza with a great chewy crust, I would absolutely recommend giving it a try!
