I've been going to this place on and off for just over a year. The staff are really nice and the place is kept clean and tidy. It has a simple, modern design which works, plus they also sell merch if you want a cup, hat or t-shirt! The location isn't very big, but there's plenty of seating inside, as well as outlets to use if you're going here to study, browse or just relax. They also sell a range of beer and wines, so you can get a lil chaser of your favourite tipple, which is great because it's open from 7am-9pm, so you can walk right out onto the main road which is full of bars if you want to keep the party going. The coffee is rich and tasty, plus they do a small selection of pastries and breakfast tacos (Tacodeli) in the morning. Warning, the Tacos go QUICK if you're looking start with the handheld bundles of joy. Overall, it's a great coffeshop for the coffee itself, its atmosphere, placement, and selection of drinks.

Finally, the beef puff (which seemed like a safe bet) fell short of expectations. It's my fault -- I ignored that part that said "beef floss." It had a stringy/processed texture that I just didn't like. I just wasn't a fan of the flavors/textures -- but obviously that's subjective. I did enjoy the garlic bread we also thankfully bought -- it was soft and flavorful. If you're not familiar with the foods, I'd recommend making sure you get a few "safe" items like the cream bread or garlic bread. All of their matcha drinks are made-to-order which is another good sign. There was plenty of seating inside for groups up to 4, and a lot of people were studying/hanging out when I went. It was a little noisy given how crowded it was, so headphones are a must if you're looking for some quiet. Parking was not bad either since we parked in the garage close by, but it was limited to 30-mins max on the 1st floor, so I'm not sure where people who stay longer park.

My go-to is the Haraz Latte. Iced. While this could never be my every day coffee, it is something I really enjoy and treat myself to when I'm able to go to a Haraz. As someone who doesn't proclaim to like cheesecake, their Biscoff cheesecake is the exception. Maybe it's a blessing that one isn't close by and I can only indulge every now and then. If you want a break from your regular coffee, give Haraz a shot. Especially when the summer heat kicks in - the iced coffee + cardamom is pretty great. I still own a couple of their t-shirts, so clearly I liked the place. The issue is getting there. The lot is small, uneven, and full of bumps, rocks, and holes, which is not easy when you use a cane. They used to have a handicap space, but the line faded and the sign disappeared. I would drive by hoping for parking, but that intersection is not one I want to circle around more than once. Even going with my husband, it could still be awkward to get in from some spots. For me, it just stopped being worth the effort. These days I usually go to Dog Days instead. It is still a walk from the garage, but much easier to navigate.

They were handing out free samples since it was close to closing time. Since it was my first time there, it was good to try a sample! There are several tables inside, as well, so you can eat your goodies there. I'm taking off a star because the place itself is in need of a renovation. It looks very outdated and not appealing at all, but the food definitely speaks for itself!
