The far right side of the bar. Stage to the left, bar off to the right.

I came here for a friend's memorial in the afternoon into evening. it's a fun little dive bar with a lot of places to sit away from the stage as well as a nice sized dance floor with a big stage for the live bands. I was expecting to be able to order food but didn't see anyone eating or smell food and no menu. So it wasn't until after the fact that I found out there is a food truck out back that rents the space. Ugh now I know! They do have an extensive bar and lots of selections for whatever you want. Anyway friendly staff with affordable drinks and a great find for the area.

Best local bands. Best home town neighborhood bar and patio. Chill vibes and great prices. Our favorite bar... jello shots are epic.

Hanovers is a great bar and venue for live shows or just hanging out. Good seating or standing areas for patrons inside, and lots to do out back. Would be a great place to come hangout with friends.

The best music ever!!! Nice stage, perfect sound, I enjoy all the Kakao concerts and have found Hanovers the perfect venue! Nice service! Conveniently located in Pflugerville where it is always easy to park. Very nice and safe area. Love the place!

Stopped by to see the War Daddies perform. They were awesome. The bar itself is pretty nice. It was large and had a couple of larger rooms in the rear. I had a couple of brewskis. The prices were reasonable and in line of what you may pay at other bar. We didnt eat but the beer and the service was terrific. I think you might enjoy the bar so give it a try. Thank you Hanovers for introducing me to the Austin night life.

Now that I've experienced all that Hanovers in Pflugerville has to offer I can honestly say I had a really good time each time I went to Hanovers and for sure I would give Hanovers a strong 3 1/2 stars. This review isn't quite a 5 star review because the mixed drinks at Hanovers are always weak & with no drink specials this means I'm paying full price for a mixed drink that does not make me feel a lil bit prettier..no bueno! But that's an easy fix..next time I'll stick to ordering something bottled & I do have to say on my most recent visit to Hanovers they were selling Jell-O shots for $1..again, the shots tasted really yummy but could have used a wee bit more alcohol. Since sharing is caring see my "likes" & "helpful info" below..(no need to thank me ;) My Likes: -LIVE MUSIC: yep, my peeps Hanovers has live music! & they really do have some awesome bands come through. Most recently Eclipse a Journey Tribute band played at Hanovers & they were so awesome! -OUTSIDE AREA: I really like how Hanovers does have an outside area w/ picnic tables, volleyball court, & they sell food outside Helpful Info: -there's an $8 cover charge -you can reserve tables if you're celebrating a birthday or any other special event & you can bring in cake :)))! To sum it up I'm sure I'll be returning to Hanovers in the near future & hopefully, I can update this review w/ news that my next mixed drink does make me feel a lil bit prettier! -Rebecca out

Ticked away in a little complex without 79 visibility along with a couple of other places that don't seem to get much traffic either. Finally made our first visit so we could try "the best fish & chips" in the Austin area. I was surprised how big it was, they have a patio, a bar area and lots of tables I was shocked as from the outside it looks tiny. Service was fantastic which was shocking with them closing soon. The service was enough to want me to go back hopefully for us in this area they end up somewhere close by as I know how hard it is to find good workers. Pretzels were good! Onion rings were our favorite! Their version of the Philly was just okay, was very plain with not much flavor hubby didn't even finish half. But the star of the show was the fish and chips. My son was over the moon! Couldn't even finish half of it and he wanted to haha. Sad to see they will be closing their doors but hopefully the owner has something else up his sleeve as they were onto something with this place.

It was cooked well, if a little too much breading for my taste. The chips were really good. The tartar sauce was different than I am used to, a little runny and pink tinged, but it was good. The mushy peas were yummy and added an authenticity to the dish. I didn't really use the curry sauce that also came with the dish. To me it doesn't go with fish or chips. I did taste it, and the flavor was great.

We ordered our drinks from the bar. I wanted to order some food, but that was at another window. My cocktail was called peaches and dreams. Very nice, not too sweet drink. I ended up having it twice. We also got a strawberry Jell-O shot too. Which was really good. Would totally get 2 of those next time. I ordered crab rangoon's, but they looked different from what you would normally get at a Chinese restaurant. Just shaped differently. Flavor was great. Their dipping sauce was good too. I think there was 5, and we shared. They do play music, on a high tech jukebox, so you get to pick and choose the songs. Some people have a very different idea of music. But, then someone else plays something like zombie by the cranberries, so it balances out. Great night catching up with my friend. They do have a patio. I didn't see it, but I know there is one. And they allow dogs on the patio too. Parking lot is smallish to medium, and they have street parking, and I don't believe it is a paid street parking. It's just a side street.

Peaches and Dreams ($10): Sweet and fruity with a lot of sugar. You could not taste the alcohol at all. Raspberry Mule ($10.31): Tasted like a THC drink which was not what we were going for. Mezcal Negroni ($11.34): Strong but did not taste good. Prairie Watermelon ($9.27): A sour beer that was actually not bad and the best of the four.

Clearly, not at all, because the place was packed. Either at capacity or about to go over. We secured a little standing spot at the bar and enjoyed our little brews. As we looked up at the TV, the original Leprechaun movie was playing. The staff were very friendly and moving around at the speed of light to get everyone their green dyed beers. There was over an hour wait for food due to how obviously busy a bar is on International Wear Green and Drink Beer Day, which didn't concern us because we had already eaten. For everyone else, sucks to be them. Our Guinnesses were good, and I really have no complaints. The location is quite narrow, but they make the most of it. I went to the bar and ordered (no wait staff at the tables). I ordered the Fish-n-Chips w/ a Pearl Snap, my date had the Biggy BBQ Mac Burger with a Dragon Fruit Daiquiri. For the positives: our drinks were very good, hard to mess up a draught beer, but it was not flat & just cold enough. She absolutely loved the daiquiri, side note- she's with me so standards aren't super high. Bar staff were super helpful and attentive, patio was very chill and secluded from the other spots surrounding it. The bathroom was clean and didn't smell like vomit. Negatives: My fish and chips were below expectations. Their grease was entirely too hot and it was flash fried causing the batter to be too crispy and the fish was piping hot. The selection of cod was not good either most of the pieces were blackened meat and the chips were crinkle cut fries, a letdown. I wasn't expecting a London level plate but it was a very sad and lonely one. Her burger was loaded with BBQ sauce and her mac-n-cheese balls were fried similarly causing the same burnt batter. It wasn't the worst meal I've had at a chain beer joint, looking at you Fox and Hound, but it wasn't close to the best. The Flying Saucer has a very good bar style fish and chips plate that costs about the same but they pay attention to the details that make it better. Overall I would not recommend and I will not be going back but in a pinch it won't make you sick.

The burnt ends in the salad were quite tough and hard to chew. The onion rings were a bit too greasy for my partner, who usually enjoys very greasy foods and couldn't finish them. The Korean chicken wings didn't quite taste like Korean barbecue and lacked flavor. On a positive note, we enjoyed playing darts on their legit dart boards.
