Had a great time there, went during the day on a Thursday and it was all for ourselves. The bartender was great even tho he was by himself, very friendly and nice! The pool is free and that's cool, they got wings, not my fave but they got good prices the _bra_ ceiling got me a little :s lol

Ranch hand - with truffle fries - fabulous!

We ordered Sunday lunch (takeout) from Red Rooster's today. It was our first time. Do not dismiss this place as just a bar. Their burgers are legit. I'd compare them to Hopoddy or another really great gourmet burger joint. I actually think it was better than Hopdoddy. They use Ruffino's beef! You can tell that their ingredients are high quality! We had the Ranch Hand, which is essentially fried pickles and ranch, the Bourbon (bbq, bacon, cheese) and the kids had bacon cheeseburgers. Their veggies were fresh and crisp. I loved the purple onions on the burgers. Their truffle fries were delicious as well. We also enjoyed the cherry limeade. Support local. Eat delicious food that's a great value for the quality and big portions. I could easily eat 1/2 of my meal and be satisfied but it was so good I ate more than that.

During CoVid-19, we're trying to support local business. Red Rooster's has modified their approach to offer a safe way to pick up food from their establishment during this crazy time. If you are craving a tasty burger and fries, then pick up from Red Rooster's. The seasoning on the fries is delicious too. You can also get alcohol to go! Order online and they give you a time to come by for pick up. It's easy peasy.

We had a great time there last night! The bartender was awesome and super friendly... the beer was cold and the music was a vibe. We will definitely be back and remember to try the food next time!

The efforts in this establishment, and the quality of those they hire is completely deplorable. It has gone extremely back downhill. I have never seen a bar so extreme with their level of service, then lack thereof. But this last visit was the last straw. Absolutely despicable. I have supported this business for well over a year, but I cannot anymore. I went to enjoy karaoke during a mid-week very busy work week, I thought it would be good to have some relief with karaoke. There is nobody at the karaoke stand. Tonya, the karaoke host was running to bartend, the bartender was nowhere to be found. From the very first drink, as I sat next to my white counterpart, as she completely ignored me, and didn't actually take the order until I walked AWAY from the bar. Anna was the bartenders' name. Furthermore I decided I would still have a good time. However this was virtually impossible. Anna catered to this group of her own friends and continuously skipped over me. I tried to get her attention over and over. This was to the point of me walking over to the other side of the bar to Tonya, the karaoke host to find Anna in order to get her attention. She was less than sorry. Upon closing my tab. She also ignored me. I asked about 5 times for my tab to be closed. A girl I met that night was able to close her tab, and noticed I was still waiting for my tab after several people have come and gone. However, this girl was overcharged. (To later give her CASH for the difference). So there has to be some really shifty behavior going on there. I'm not sure what type of operation it is, but as soon as I questioned my $52 tab for 3 drinks and a shot, I was immediately treated as if I was causing an issue. Anna told me I bought drinks for 8 people, but then also said I couldn't afford my tab... so which was it? The bartender proceeded to yell profanities regarding my sexuality so explicit as far as anatomy. I never raised my voice, I never got loud, and I never disrespected anyone. However I was unable to even so much as close my tab because my arm was grabbed by someone who was picking the bartender up, and he grabbed it from my hand and shoved me out of the bar. Disgusted, upset, shocked. I have friends that have regulared this bar for a while. However, this is going all the way to BBB., The Media, etc. I will never be back.

Dining out has turned into Dining in. Red Rooster's menu is knocking out great meals to put a smile back on your face. You can order online for pickup or delivery. The burgers are some of the best we've had without breaking the bank. Support your local businesses. We are all in this together.

3 1/2 stars. This is a cool dive bar with decent bar food. I went on a Thursday night and they had karaoke going. It wasn't that busy so there was just one bartender taking food and drink orders. We ordered fried pickles, hot honey wings, Cajun wings and fries and the fried pickles were my favorite. They were crunchy with thick coating, not soggy like some places. The hot honey wings were more honey than hot, but they were good as well along with the Cajun wings and fries. This is a good option if you're in the area and looking for a place that serves food late at night.

We decided to try this place for the first time and it was hella good!! Customer service was amazing we did take out and they welcomed us very kindly, sweet employees! I loved the message on their box!! The inside of the building was vibing ! The burger is a great size for the price!! The bacon was wonderful giving it that crunch that comes into play with the other ingredients and the Barbecue Saucee! The fries had great flavor!!! I recommend it!!!

Americans favorite.... Fries . First I had the wings immediately I knew the oil needed changed

Ticked away in a little complex without 79 visibility along with a couple of other places that don't seem to get much traffic either. Finally made our first visit so we could try "the best fish & chips" in the Austin area. I was surprised how big it was, they have a patio, a bar area and lots of tables I was shocked as from the outside it looks tiny. Service was fantastic which was shocking with them closing soon. The service was enough to want me to go back hopefully for us in this area they end up somewhere close by as I know how hard it is to find good workers. Pretzels were good! Onion rings were our favorite! Their version of the Philly was just okay, was very plain with not much flavor hubby didn't even finish half. But the star of the show was the fish and chips. My son was over the moon! Couldn't even finish half of it and he wanted to haha. Sad to see they will be closing their doors but hopefully the owner has something else up his sleeve as they were onto something with this place.

I ordered the fish and chips. The piece of fish was enormous! It was cooked well, if a little too much breading for my taste. The chips were really good. The tartar sauce was different than I am used to, a little runny and pink tinged, but it was good. The mushy peas were yummy and added an authenticity to the dish. I didn't really use the curry sauce that also came with the dish. To me it doesn't go with fish or chips. I did taste it, and the flavor was great.

At the time this establishment was built, we lived nearby and were extremely excited to have an Irish option so close. We've been several times and enjoy ourselves a lot. I will warn anyone reading this far in, though, that this isn't the place to go for really authentic "Irish" food. It also isn't where I would go if I wanted a nice, full meal. Their menu is full of good appetizers that pair well with their brews, which is what they do really well. A couple years ago, we celebrated a milestone anniversary here, but this time we stepped it up a little: we got a little private table inside a barrel in their courtyard, and it was a very cozy and wonderful setting for our anniversary celebration. The very best thing about this establishment, however, is their service. My husband always plans ahead for our anniversary celebration, and has worked closely with the management of Cork and Barrel on more than one occasion to make our evening extra special. From flower delivery directly to our table, to a private location so we could visit uninterrupted, the staff has always been very accommodating and helpful in making his vision come to life. We will continue to be loyal patrons of Cork and Barrel. If you haven't tried them yet, you should.

Clearly, not at all, because the place was packed. Either at capacity or about to go over. We secured a little standing spot at the bar and enjoyed our little brews. As we looked up at the TV, the original Leprechaun movie was playing. The staff were very friendly and moving around at the speed of light to get everyone their green dyed beers. There was over an hour wait for food due to how obviously busy a bar is on International Wear Green and Drink Beer Day, which didn't concern us because we had already eaten. For everyone else, sucks to be them. Our Guinnesses were good, and I really have no complaints. The location is quite narrow, but they make the most of it. I went to the bar and ordered (no wait staff at the tables). I ordered the Fish-n-Chips w/ a Pearl Snap, my date had the Biggy BBQ Mac Burger with a Dragon Fruit Daiquiri. For the positives: our drinks were very good, hard to mess up a draught beer, but it was not flat & just cold enough. She absolutely loved the daiquiri, side note- she's with me so standards aren't super high. Bar staff were super helpful and attentive, patio was very chill and secluded from the other spots surrounding it. The bathroom was clean and didn't smell like vomit. Negatives: My fish and chips were below expectations. Their grease was entirely too hot and it was flash fried causing the batter to be too crispy and the fish was piping hot. The selection of cod was not good either most of the pieces were blackened meat and the chips were crinkle cut fries, a letdown. I wasn't expecting a London level plate but it was a very sad and lonely one. Her burger was loaded with BBQ sauce and her mac-n-cheese balls were fried similarly causing the same burnt batter. It wasn't the worst meal I've had at a chain beer joint, looking at you Fox and Hound, but it wasn't close to the best. The Flying Saucer has a very good bar style fish and chips plate that costs about the same but they pay attention to the details that make it better. Overall I would not recommend and I will not be going back but in a pinch it won't make you sick.
