This place is family owned which I love about it! On game days they often serve chips or hot dogs along with amazing drinks! On Friday nights they have a DJ where everyone flocks to hear his Latin beats at 9pm but not me because I leave at 9 haha. The daughter of the owner is Kimmy and she is really fun and energetic! I gave it one more star because of her alone! Parking is sometimes an issue but where is it not when you got to downtown round rock?! Haha I will be back here in a few weeks! She mews like a cat! She YOWLS like a cat - and that does not necessarily mean she is unhappy. She keeps a gong that she bangs at random intervals. There is a bell by the door that she can ring if she doesn't feel like going back to the gong. I think she designed most of the shots herself. (I was on a bourbon night - but I am dying of curiosity to try some of her shots.) Nearly everyone who can sits at the bar - and she chats up each and every person. She is in constant action and at any given nanosecond - she can be anywhere in the bar. Her mission in life is to be the hostess with the mostest. And she really IS the hostess with the mostest. I sat at a back table, drank my bourbon, watched TV and watched the bartender at work. Mellow, sleepy, pleasant stuff. There was over an hour wait for food due to how obviously busy a bar is on International Wear Green and Drink Beer Day, which didn't concern us because we had already eaten. For everyone else, sucks to be them. Our Guinnesses were good, and I really have no complaints. The location is quite narrow, but they make the most of it. There is a ton of beers to choose from, but I only had the Guinness because, well, celebrating a commercialization of Irish culture. For the positives: our drinks were very good, hard to mess up a draught beer, but it was not flat & just cold enough. She absolutely loved the daiquiri, side note- she's with me so standards aren't super high. Bar staff were super helpful and attentive, patio was very chill and secluded from the other spots surrounding it. The bathroom was clean and didn't smell like vomit. Negatives: My fish and chips were below expectations. Their grease was entirely too hot and it was flash fried causing the batter to be too crispy and the fish was piping hot. The selection of cod was not good either most of the pieces were blackened meat and the chips were crinkle cut fries, a letdown. I wasn't expecting a London level plate but it was a very sad and lonely one. Her burger was loaded with BBQ sauce and her mac-n-cheese balls were fried similarly causing the same burnt batter. It wasn't the worst meal I've had at a chain beer joint, looking at you Fox and Hound, but it wasn't close to the best. The Flying Saucer has a very good bar style fish and chips plate that costs about the same but they pay attention to the details that make it better. Overall I would not recommend and I will not be going back but in a pinch it won't make you sick.

This is one of the most fairly run karaoke rotations in town! On Saturday nights, the host won't even take tips to bump people up.
