Atmosphere isn't really that great for the prices on the menu. The restaurant is like an open room with lots Of tables, without any speakers for background music, which makes it loud. It's not a romantic setting and ambiance is not intimate. But the menu has several gluten-free and vegan options. If you check in, you do get a free glass of sangria (perks!). I was splitting the burger with my fiancé, and i have celiac and they accommodated me by splitting the burger and removing the bun on my side. So the atmosphere gets 1 Star, but the food gets 3! read more

One of the highlights of our frequent visits to the restaurant is when Tina is our server. Her demeanor is always very friendly and positive. Her service is "spot on". We spoke to the manager at The Pinnacle and explained our horrible experience. We gave them an opportunity to make things right somehow and they declined. Even though we sent our filets back twice and I had to eventually switch to fish, which I believe made me sick to my stomach, the manager and owner's take is "well, you eventually ate it so it can't have been that bad". We came to visit from Texas, stopped by and they were having a wedding so the restaurant was close to the public. The greeter, the chief and the sue chief invited us to sit at the wine testing area and delivered our lunch there. The food was delicious ans super well.presnted. a.was wonderful ... Last Saturday I had lunch at Pinnacle joined by two friends and I must say I did not expect what I got. I have ordered the serrano ham sandwich and nothing could have surprised me more. It was not only super delicious and beautiful plate but it was just perfect in every way possible. Taste was 100, plate presentation 100, portion and flavor 100. The service jut like the food match the 100 mark as well. The way the dining room is designed is great. Not overwhelming with stuff on the walls as so many other venues do. There was a small disappointment to me when I told as I thought the manager that the serrano sandwich was the best I have ever had and she did not know what I was talking about. How ever it was my mistake most likely by assuming that she was the manager with me out asking. I will definitely return every time I will fly back to SoCal. read more

We came here to celebrate a friend's 30th birthday. The birthday girl called and confirmed a party of 13 multiple times; however, when we arrived the two young brunette hostess (that worked on 8/14 at 12:45pm) were rude and unprofessional. Service is good, absolutely no complaints there! My issue is with the food. It was very expensive for how it tasted. I ordered the steak pasta and it was very bland. This place was highly recommended by our Cave tour guide over at the Oak Mountain Winery, and since we had no clue where else to go for a good lunch around here, we followed her recommendation and came here straight after our tour. The restaurant with a bar is located at the Falkner Winery and in a separate building.....a very pleasant open spaced restaurant with large windows, with both indoor and outdoor seating....but it's probably a bit warm to be sitting outside. Great for a nice pleasant lunch, and definitely a great place to bring and impress a date :) Service is very good hear as we were taken of by Matt who was very friendly and attentive, always checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The menu is not overwhelming and has something for pretty much anyone, whether it's a full entree lunch or small appetizer plates. Out of curiosity, the Crispy Brussels Sprouts sounded very interesting and so we went ahead and order one of those. For mains, my friend insisted she wanted the Ray's Famous Black Angus Burger...without additional salt....and served with fries. I ordered the Piri Piri Chicken Sandwich which came with fries. Firstly, the Brussels Sprouts was delicious!....went great with the fried egg on top....how they came up with this delicious idea is beyond me. The Brussels Sprouts weren't whole pieces as you would usually find at other places, but somehow they peeled the leaves of the vegetable and deep fried (I think) them till crisp, and mixed it with sliced almonds, goat cheese crumbles, dried cranberries, hibiscus drizzle, and the fried egg on top. Loved the combination of ingredients....so fresh, nice mix of textures and flavors, and delicious. My friend absolutely loved her burger.....perfectly cooked medium, as requested, juicy, tender, and yummy......she commented that this was the most perfectly cooked and delicious tasting burger she'd ever had!...the fries were hot, fresh, crispy and yummy too. My chicken burger was delicious too.....enjoyed every bit of it, and I made sure I didn't leave a crumb. I'm so glad we got to come here.....if not for the recommendation we wouldn't have even known about this place......nor would we have made it this trip! Stopped by this restaurant for lunch before wine tasting. The restaurant is very spacious, and I liked the way it sat on the hill--it provided a nice, expansive view. I ordered the Wild Mushroom & Grilled Chicken Pasta and my bf ordered the Wine Country Beef Brisket Sandwich. I liked the pasta. The sandwich was okay, but it got a bit soggy. They offer free baskets of bread, which they warmed up (big plus for me--I don't like eating cold bread). My bf also ordered a glass of sangria, which tasted decent. Service was good. Our waitress was quick and friendly. I think I expected more from a restaurant that won Diner's Choice by Open Table. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Checking in starting with the hostess (without the mostest) was RUDE!! She said oh you're early and told us we could go downstairs for wine tasting. Worst experience at a winery! We went wine tasting in a party bus and had reservations all lined up. Arrived with 16 people and they "couldn't find our reservation". We came here because it was recommended by one of the members in our party. The high schoolers running this place had no idea to handle the situation. Instead of trying to accommodate they said they didn't know what to do. After walking away to grab some wine at the Winery portion outside, we went back in to see if we can order food outside to find the hostess talking about us. The poor service all around has made us decide not only to cancel our memberships but we won't be returning and wine tasting will be cut short after our pre paid portion. First, the waitress (the one with short bob) rolled her eyes at me when I asked whether there was a kids' menu. Then when I informed her that we were ready to order, she got all uppity and sniffy that I needed to wait because she had her hands full. The final straw was when I wanted to make sure that the dish I planned to order for my daughter didn't have peanuts. I expressed my concern to her and she literally ridiculed me in these exact words- "Are you kidding me? How could a burger dish contain any peanuts?!" If it weren't for the wine in my system and my 2 hungry kids, I would have demanded to see the manager and/or walk out right then and there. Friends and I came here for brunch. It's beautifully located at Falkner Winery. Open dining area with a panaramic view. Our server Tina was great! She was friendly, professional and with a great sense of humor. We all had mimosas and shared a cheese platter. I got the winemaker's pasta and shrimp which was delicious with sundries tomatoes and artichokes. Then we all shared the chocolate divinity. One of our friends has celiacs disease and requires gluten free food. Our server was knowledgeable of the disease and the restaurant had gluten free options for both her entree and dessert. I came in for a birthday lunch at around 2 pm. It was nearly empty, so we were seated and served in about 20 minutes. I Ordered the wild mushroom and chicken pasta and Sangria. It was a pretty good pasta, it could have been a little less oily but the flavor was still good. The waitress who attended us was nice and checked up on us every few minutes ( I loved that). She also had asked if we were celebrating anything and I mentioned it was my birthday. I did not think much about it but a few minutes after we were done with our food, she brought me a dessert, so sweet. This is an event space that they scattered a few tables around and called it a restaurant. It's very echoey and loud since it's a giant hollow event space. Lacking ambiance or style. Food was overpriced and mediocre. I ordered a steak salad which consisted of 4 small, leathery pieces of overcooked meat on arugula with 4 cherry tomatoes. Very underwhelming.
