Delicious fresh ice tea for this hot summer weather

Love this spot! All the staff here are wonderful, polite and kind. We usually place to go orders for our staff lunch and I was the one to pick up the food this time and had an amazing experience. I came in and another staff was able to ask if I needed any help. While he was busy, he asked the main host (?) woman in a pink hat today assisted with my pick up. They are very attentive to our order, following up on my order and offering me an ice tea while I wait. I'm very happy to be the one to pick up the order because the service here is amazing! Couldn't been treated any better. Can't wait to bring my friends here for a brunch date. ***update: we just opened our lunch and the salads have been mixed up so we were pretty disappointed. The salmon salad I had ordered didn't include the Caesar crumbles, but had bleu cheese inside (yuck in my opinion) and my coworker's didnt have any bleu cheese at all in her Black and Bleu salad which she was super looking forward to eating. Oh well

Mom's favorite!

This is my mom's FAVORITE place to go out to eat. We had yet another wonderful lunch here today - I had the Nashville Crispy Chicken Sandwich (with honey-mustard close slaw and slices of dill pickle inside - DELICIOUS!) and Mom had a generously-portioned French Dip sandwich, medium rare, and she loved it! We always get the Pear Quesadilla (with an astounding sweet dip) as an appetizer, and we washed it all down with their refreshing organic sweet tea. Don't let the heat keep you from visiting! They've had a big dip in business in these heat waves, but you can absolutely enjoy their nice, cool indoor seating. You don't HAVE to sit in the courtyard.

Alamo Chicken Bacon Club

I was meeting with friends for lunch and one of them recommended this place to try. Apparently they have sister locations in other places as well, such as Walnut Creek. But going to Alamo and trying this place out, it was a welcoming experience. You can sit inside or outside, and we chose to sit outside. I will say that the service was a bit underwhelming. We were only seen once for refills of our beverages. I know we were outside but I would hope we would be seen a bit more or checked on then just once after we received our entrees. Onion Rings: I got this to share and it was really good. The cilantro ranch dressing was a nice touch and there were plentiful amount of rings to eat. They were crispy and not too oily, which was a nice touch. Alamo Chicken Club: This was cooked really well and had a bunch of flavor for a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon. The wheat bread is a plus for me, since it added that rough texture to go with the crispy bacon. The chicken was grilled perfectly for me, with the right amount of seasoning. The fries were very crispy and none of them were wilted. The addition of cilantro to the fries were also good. Overall, I had a pleasant time coming here. Could see myself coming again, although parking is atrocious.

Strawberry scone

Service was fast and our server Sandy was attentive and friendly. She sold us on the strawberry scone and let me tell you that it was AMAZING and scrumptious. Nothing like a freshly backed scone. So good!!!! The breakfast quesadilla that I ordered was huge as well as the breakfast burrito my boyfriend ordered. So beware portions sizes are big here and definitely worth your money. We both enjoyed our food and will definitely be back again.

Caesar Salad

Ordered a ceasar salad again i must say that extra dressing makes a huge difference. Having that extra dressing made it perfect. Chicken always tastes good. Everything down to the crouton crumbs. Conveniently located around the corner from where i work.

California BLT with avocado

Had a great experience tonight for dinner. I love that they have a beautiful courtyard to dine in. Lots of tables dispersed throughout. It was a little later in the evening, so we were able to order our food and receive it pretty quickly. I was grateful because I was starving! I had the California BLT with avocado added, and a side of fries. Hubby had the salmon piccata with mashed potatoes and spinach. Everything was great. Service was speedy and accurate. It was an enjoyable meal.

Shrimp Louis Salad

The service here was excellent! Unfortunately the food is sub par I'm sad to say. My sandwich was to be on ciabatta roll and it was on a hamburger bun. The included side salad was spring greens that were slimy and well beyond sell date. Another friend was very disappointed in taco salad which has no salsa, chips or guacamole. Not sure why it was even called a taco salad. Mushroom sandwich is basically bread with a small amount of mushrooms. The food is very bland. I recommend you go somewhere else.

To drink, we had passionfruit mimosas, the maitai (the non-classic one), the chi chi, and the painless (mocktail). All were delicious and beautifully presented. To eat, we shared the Spam musubi. Another lovely presentation! The ratio of Spam to rice to seaweed was balanced and came with a tasty sauce drizzled overtop and a different one on the side. For brunch entrees, we had the ube waffles (one as is and one with chicken katsu), the kalua pork breakfast sandwich? And the poke bowl. The ube waffles are unique and delicious! They are topped with whipped cream, ube syrup, and a fresh fruit salsa; all complemented the waffles well. The chicken katsu was perfectly coated in panko and fried well. The poke was refreshing and came with crunchy pickled vegetables, edamame, and avocado; which was a healthy and tasty brunch dish! The Kalua pork breakfast sandwich was hearty and savory, and the potato salad completed the plate nicely. We finished our meal with the Hula pie. Must get, even if you don't have room! If you're looking for a great brunch spot with delicious island inspired food and a lovely patio (dog-friendly), make sure to check out Kaia's!

Service was good , fast and polite…read more The menu is very good, get what fancies you . There's lots to choose from . I learned a lesson- go with your first choice - I've been trying to practice that - I find when I do t do that- I wish I got what I wanted first . I got the herb crusted halibut - good - yet I was wanting more - the short rib bites were that- short . I was wanting more - and my guest got the Superfood salad with chicken- that's a huge win- it was so good - my first choice was the braised short ribs- mmmmmmmmmmmmm. I like the place. It's an old house converted and it has rustic charm. Outside seating is cozy with a fire and warmers - it was a little too chilly last Sunday for us- we were out all day and inside was nice .. it was a slow and cozy Sunday- it started to pick up when we were finishing up- unlike it here and we will be back. The staff is very nice - the food is good and easy parking - it's a win .

However, it was a lovely day on Wednesday,so requested outdoor seating. They were not too busy and happily organized a table for 10 outside. We ordered drinks, appetizers, mains and shared beignets for dessert. Our server Carla was kind and efficient. She patiently met the multiple (sometimes unreasonable!) requests of the guests. We had a looong lunch, and enjoyed it! Great ambiance, delicious food and excellent service! Highly recommended!

Came here with friends/compatriots for a dinner after a long day of work. The ambience is great,…read morethe staff very friendly and we were seated quickly. The menu is extensive enough for most tastes, and we did order a variety of foods to test that theory! The ones we ordered and have photos for include: Pear Quesadilla (Pears, brie cheese, flour tortilla, pear chutney); Calamari Fritti; New York White Cheddar Fondue; Bishop Ranch salad (Baby greens, pear, candied walnuts, blue cheese, balsamic vinaigrette); and for dessert: Warm Pear Tart (Puff pastry, vanilla ice cream, caramel), and a Seasonal Bread Pudding. The food came quickly and hot from the kitchen - except the salad and desserts! The food was very tasty, and the pear quesadilla and fondue were favorites for the uniqueness and the taste. The fondue had sliced pears along with the bread, a great change in the usual fondue take. The salad was also liked, fresh and a good variety of tastes and textures. They subbed the dressing for ranch. The desertas were also a hit, being shared. The warm pear tart was best liked, and very sweet and traditional in taste, but the bread pudding was also a close second. The pear tart was new to us, though. The service was great, and Cesar R. took good care of us. Overall, a great time! Can't wait for another excuse to be in the area for dinner.

We came late on a Saturday evening. I tried to French onion soup and lamb shank. Both were ok but seemed to be lacking something. The servers were really friendly and I will come back again. Their wine list is reasonably priced and heavily dominant with Wagner family wines. If Belle Glos, Caymus, and friends are your jam, this is the place for you.
