What a great coffee and treat shop in downtown Ada. The baked goodies looked fresh and delicious, they even have peanut butter dog treats. The coffee was fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. read more

I looooove this place. All of the baked goods are super fresh and taste extremely homemade just like my grandmas. I tell everyone to come here for their carrot cake slice! read more

Everything they bake and cook is perfection. If I could go there 7 days a week I would. Unfortunately they're closed on Sundays. Their service is unparalleled. I love Nonnas. If you ask me, Nonnas is on the way to everything if you try hard enough. read more

"Skip it" . We went after church for breakfast and they were "out" of everything but not serving lunch! My kids got the oatmeal which was the only thing available and it was instant but served cold. The server was unapologetic and acted as if it was our fault for showing up at the wrong time... Don't waste your time. . read more

Finally found my favorite breakfast spot in the Grand Rapids area! The food is delicious and the staff is really sweet! Great lazy morning! read more

The Pantry - Oatmeal with brown sugar, banana, and walnuts. Avocado toast. Irish breakfast tea. - Cafes Near Me - Ada, Michigan

Absolutely fantastic food and ambiance. Breakfast was amazing, shared the French Omelette and the Buckwheat pancakes with my wife. We were provided great service by Jen. Planning to come back and try dinner! Don, Ada read more

Coffee menu was limited, but provided the basics. I had a small vanilla latte and it was very good. We also got Nutella crepes. Took a while to get the crepes but they were worth it! read more

I know the staff by name because I can't stop going here. When friends and family ask what I want for birthday/Christmas I tell them gift cards to Nonna's. House-made lavender simple syrup in their lavender lattes, chocolate peanut-butter bars that will wipe your memory clean of all other peanut-butter cups. Quiche, soups, and buttermilk biscuits that make you "forget" to pack your lunch. Yes. A thousand times, yes. read more

If you're a proper coffee fan, like a good pastry, and happen to be around the Ada area, this is the place to stop. There is street parking and also parking in the back. Seating can be limited, but that'll depend on the time of day. They also have a good compliment of offerings for lunch items. Good place to get some laptop time in as well. All their pastries are made in house, everyday! read more

Always super! Yes, they sometimes run out of things during the day, but that is not a reason to avoid this gem in downtown Ada. Always fabulous sweets, great teas and coffee - plus a recent addition of having some fresh pasta and sauces made from their sister restaurant across the street now available. You cannot go wrong with a beignet muffin or their twist on the rice crispy treat (seriously fabulous) and the gluten free berry muffins when they have them are literally to die for they are so good. Love having this little pantry in town! read more

Very good. We had meatballs and arugala salad, fettucine, and black tea. Everything was homemade and very fresh. Good size portions but no leftovers. Small menu but I find that to be a good thing because everything has to be great. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because I am selective on the rating and I need to try more. If you like quaint and delicious homemade food then you will like nonnas! read more

Hidden gem in Ada, MI. Amazing homemade breakfast and lunch. I had a curry chicken salad that was very flavorful. I have never had an omelette like this before either. Homemade muffins daily as well. Wonderful and attentive staff, wish I would have discovered sooner. read more

High quality delicious food in a quaint environment. The salads and omelets are divine and the baked french toast is amazing. Best coffee latte in town. One of my favorite places to go with family and friends. read more

The staff here are awesome! The food is incredible and so are the lattes!! My brother and I are there every week! The owner is typically there and helping in the kitchen. He's sitting on a gold mine and I hope it's there for years to come!!! read more

This is as close to a great European cafe as you can get. The ambience, the décor, the avocado toast, the best carrot cake ever, the coffees, with great service. Don't walk, run. AND they are opening up for dinner in a new place across the street. read more

Outstanding! Great place in downtown Ada. Breakfast is amazing. Both french toast and omelette are good.

Food is always consistent. The baked goods are incredible especially the scones. Simple things things like the oatmeal and fruit cup are done well read more

First time visit for lunch. Great bread and who knew you could get great meatballs and sauce in Ada. Everything fresh and tasty. Nice to see a menu with just a few things but all wonderfully prepared. Nice ambience too. read more

Absolutely the best omelet I have ever had! This is the perfect place to eat fun foods like french toast, or stick to healthier choices. My only complaint is that they do not have any smaller options for kids. Last week, I had to pay $9 for my daughter's meal. Just too much food for younger kids, and too high in price. Hoping when they move, this will change. read more

Awkward little place. Turned me away on Mothers Day although they were only half Full. It was 9:56AM. Was told they were 'closing in four minutes' Perhaps the extensive menu is overburdening the staff. Four choices to be ordered at the counter : an omelette, or fresh fruit, or granola or oatmeal. That's It. How hard would it have been to feed a hungry customer? They can expect My business to go down the street....... read more

I Moved to the area not too long ago and drive past quite a bit-not only does the Nonna Cafe give a very mom's kitchen feel in the restaurant the latte is the best I've had in a while, the food is amazing, and the owner works the register himself. They have homemade granola, muffins, and scones in addition to warm breakfast like baked French toast with pecans. It is a perfect hidden little restaurant that could contend in any big city, tucked in a small Michigan town. I may have a new favorite place! read more

Cute, quaint place that serves "proper tea." I would say, they serve tea, properly. They take high quality loose-leaf, serve it in a real tea pot, with tea cups, with saucers. altogether so rare in the 21st century American Midwest. If they added a proper sugar bowl with cubes and a proper creamer, they'd have earned the fifth star. They play real jazz in the background. It's a pretty little place, entrances front and back, very clean, a limited but tasty array of fresh baked goods, and a limited but serviceable breakfast menu, we enjoyed omelettes. They also have attractive looking salads, and no, this is not the place for men who are insecure about their masculinity. An excellent choice for an afternoon book club, a tea break, a light lunch with your girlfriends or nieces, they make mince pies to order. If my brother-in-law Dirk used words like effete, hoity-toity, bourgeois or fou-fou, that's what he would call the place, but instead, when he heard we had tea there, he just grunted with a vague disapproval. read more

Great cafe restaurant! Food and service is good. Bakery items are excellent. The only negative I have is the volume. It can be very loud when busy. read more

Wonderful place! Expresso taste like it's straight out of Italy! You feel like your eating at mamas house only better! Portions are large everything is fresh! read more

Food is good. But don't think you are going to enjoy a good time. They have 4 - 5 tables and they are full of 3 hs 1 coffee web surfers. No food/beverage is worth the pain of driving to a place dreading you will have to change your plans of sitting and enjoying a coffee....not worth it unless you are ready for the pain of waiting or you treat it like a fancy drive through.. read more

Delicious and fresh food by a locally-owned café. I have enjoyed every meal at Nonna's along with friendly and attentive service. Also glad to see the expansion across the street with Nonna's Trattoria, which means we are more likely to get a table without a wait. The coffee is amazing, and no surprise given the owner's time living abroad in Italy... My favorite café in West Michigan! read more

Was impressed with the facility, except I find a tip jar at the order counter a real turnoff. As for what am I tipping? Both menu and portions were skimpy. Omelet was small and runny, with token ingredients. Toast, single slice, ie dry bread without color, was not inviting. I just thought I'd try the new eatery. I can do much better with Arnie's or Gathering Place for nearby local eateries. read more

I would give them another try because I've heard good things about the food, but my scone was dry. We were there when they opened on a Saturday, so I would have expected it to be fresh, if not still warm from the oven. The fresh fruit bowl was delicious. read more

Only had a muffin and cappuccino but it was delicious. Have heard they have great lunch.

Great little place with coffee, deserts, and light lunch fare. Hard to see if your driving past.

Excellent soups and great crusty bread warmed us up on a cold winter afternoon. The delectable pecan bar, moist, dense brownie, scrumptious pumpkin chocolate chip muffin and just right almond scone we savored later will be sure to draw us back to Nonna's Pantry again! read more

This is absolutely 5 stars. I recommend trying he following: Meatballs Side salad (seriously) Avocado toast Any salad and can add chicken Energy bites read more

Love this place! Amazing food, great atmosphere. Highly recommended! My favorite thing on the menu is the omelet with everything on it.

Awesome, friendly, knowledgable staff, and delicious baked goods and coffee. One of a kind in the area. Don't miss this cafe! It's a beautiful space and the experience checks all the boxes. read more

Great place for breakfast. Lattes well made. Best quiche I've ever had. Good omelettes although not entirely French. Excellent pastries.

Love, love, love Nonna's! I was told they don't normally bake peach cobbler but they made an exception for me. I placed an order, enough for 90 people, it was delivered on time and was still warm! The cobbler was fantastic, everyone at the office enjoyed it so much we asked Nonna's to cater another large order but this time we tried the banana bread. Both orders were wonderful, affordable, & the employees were a pleasure working with. read more

If you seek old farmhouse ambiance, you'll get it, all the way down to the malfunctioning front door but don't expect old-fashioned service or price. Their goods are overpriced and staff is rude. I waited in line over 10 min while the clerk yapped away with the client in front of me about highschool friends they had in common. The tiny over-seasoned piece of quiche I purchased was not worth the time in line or the $6 charged. Neither were the glaze soaked muffins I got for my family. I will NOT be returning. read more

Charming cafe in Ada Village. I went with my two children early on a Sunday morning, and they were very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent -- best omelette I've had in a long time. The fruit bowl was fresh and delicious. I'm definitely a fan. read more

High marks for village-y charm and friendliness. Scrambled eggs are French style (wet, or loose), so if you want them cooked longer, you have to request it. All the food is good, and don't get me started on the bakery goods. Fabulous! Service is profoundly slow, both to be greeted and submit your order, as well as food prep. I have no idea why it takes 30 min to scramble an egg (especially French style) and toast some bread. So I would have given 5 stars, but took a point off for egregiously slow service. read more
