I'm not a huge sweets person, but I like a good soft cookie. No crispy cookies for me - and Daddy's Dough Cookies totally delivered. The cookies we had in the picnic basket were lemon cream pie which consist of two delightfully chewy and soft lemon cookies with lemon buttercream frosting sandwiched inside. The lemon flavor was so bright and summery, and the sweetness level was just right - not too sweet. My boyfriend and I both commented about how good they were, and I immediately looked to see where I could get more. Luckily enough they sell these goodies at Bridge Street Market, Fresh Thyme, and Horrocks here locally. They also sell them online so I bought two of EVERY FLAVOR. Then we happened to find them at one of the last days of the Urban City Cafe and got the birthday cake flavor. Guess what, amazingly good. The cookies are so interesting, they seem like they are an oatmeal type cookie somehow and the texture is just so, so good. I hope they can continue to grow and get into other stores locally.
