Most recently I grabbed a turtle brownie which was rich and decadent but not overly sweet to the point of only being able to eat a bite or two. Great texture. You can also find their goodies at places like Horrocks and Bridge Street Market.

I'm not a huge sweets person, but I like a good soft cookie. No crispy cookies for me - and Daddy's Dough Cookies totally delivered. The cookies we had in the picnic basket were lemon cream pie which consist of two delightfully chewy and soft lemon cookies with lemon buttercream frosting sandwiched inside. The lemon flavor was so bright and summery, and the sweetness level was just right - not too sweet. My boyfriend and I both commented about how good they were, and I immediately looked to see where I could get more. Luckily enough they sell these goodies at Bridge Street Market, Fresh Thyme, and Horrocks here locally. They also sell them online so I bought two of EVERY FLAVOR. Then we happened to find them at one of the last days of the Urban City Cafe and got the birthday cake flavor. Guess what, amazingly good. The cookies are so interesting, they seem like they are an oatmeal type cookie somehow and the texture is just so, so good. I hope they can continue to grow and get into other stores locally. The hummus accompanying the falafel enhanced that pasty gluey feel in the mouth and there was no crunch. It's $14 for a sandwich. I was able to gag down half of it and drink 3 waters before I gave up to go back to work. I don't know, there are cheaper options around that are also locally owned that taste better, sadly. I decided to call just to make sure & it turns out the google info is wrong & they are open until 8. WOOHOO!! The lady who answered the phone was super nice, I asked if they had a turtle cheesecake & she told me they had 2 sizes and the prices. The large was $28. I stopped in to get it & she had put it in a bag in the freezer to make sure nobody else bought it before I got there!! That was so awesome! I thought the cheesecake rocked! The buttercream frosting was super sweet, so we probably could have split one and been happy. I love that they have gelato flights! I didn't see any pricing posted for the treats when we visited, but the total was just over $10 for the two cookie sandwiches. They are handmade (vs. frozen and shipped in) so that makes sense. The employee helping us was super sweet and friendly, which I appreciated. The space is cute with ample seating to enjoy your treats, and they have an Instagrammable photo wall.
