I've always believed service can make or break a dining experience. And that's one of the things that makes this place great. Not crowded at all on a Thursday at 6 pm for dinner although folks started trickling in as the evening went along. We were actually on our way to Popeyes but decided to get a real dinner here instead as we passed by. The dinner rolls - omg. Worth the cheat. Lit like a Christmas tree with butter and glistening with butter and what tasted like maybe a hint of honey as it's slightly sweet. The food was pretty good although the Meatloaf had a couple of onion rings on top that were chewy AF. Ack. Toss to side. The meatloaf itself was better although not as good as my mom used to make it. I guess that's always the guess ands conflict of interest. Note, the cheaper $5 sides can be substituted for the green beans and/or mashed potatoes. Or you can pay $2 each to substitute either of them out with the $7 sides. I substituted the beans for fries which had a slight coating and were nice and fresh. Chicken fried steak was better than the meatloaf imho. We got the jalapeño gravy which is the white cream gravy with jalapeños. Tasty and not too spicy. For desert check out the huge cakes in the display case. For us, we had to try the brown butter banana pudding for my kids sake. Little Minion. But it did not disappoint. Our waiter said he used to drive 2 hours from college just for it. And it was good. It did not have a artificial yellow color like most places. Perhaps due to the brown butter (whatever that is). But it was good and the wafers were crunchy both on top and on the bottom. Decor is nice. Wood. They were setting up Xmas decorations and I bet it's really cozy in there. I could hear the staff talking with some regulars. With the fantastic service it kinda reminded me of Cheers - a place to relax with good company and a great staff.

This place was amazing--food, service, and atmosphere. My husband and I stopped in on a rainy Thursday night, hungry and looking to try something new. We were warmly welcomed and told to sit wherever we liked. We started with the fried mushrooms, crispy and delicious. For our entrées, I had the Omega Chicken and he had the smothered pork chops. Both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The green beans with crispy bacon and seasoned mashed potatoes were the perfect sides. His pork chops were so tender, he said they melted in his mouth. We also loved the peach Bellini and by request the sangria/Bellini mix--so good. Omega Grill, you're now one of our favorites. We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic food, the waitress listened and made suggestions according to our taste, and she completely not only nailed it but exceeded all of our expectations. Our waitress was jasmine, and she was very attentive and informative, and knew the menu inside and out. Brendan came over and made sure that everything was going smoothly, and he was very accessible and approachable and friendly. What dishes that we have? The shrimp and grits and the chicken fried chicken bowl.. OMG, we were completely blown away! Put this place on your short list for your next outings.

this place is so teaaa. i loved it and the environment is very friendly and clean. the server is inviting when you walk in. i went 2 times and the first time i got the chicken and waffles, half captain crunch and half regular with spicy syrup. the second time i got the baby back ribs with truffle fries and caramel apples. they were amazing! i recommend this to anyone and everyone.

The thing I loved about this place the most was the fact that they are extremely flexible when it comes to substituting proteins or carbs to each customer's needs and wants. They were very open to any changes, while doing Keto that becomes super appreciated. The place is inviting, they have booths and tables. They have TVs and a rotating display of cakes. I ordered the steak salad and it came with a generous amount of steak. Nowadays, most places serve only a few thin slices of steak. This was an abundant salad along with abundant steak. We had a delicious spinach and artichoke dip, and my family tried their chocolate cake. They licked their spoons. I will for sure come back to this place, I definitely recommend

I took my mom to see her great granddaughter, my 1st grandchild, who was born last week. It was a great time. A 4 generational moment. (With a lot of pics) So as soon as we got back in my truck, she said she was so hungry and wanted Chinese food. Like a buffet. I said I got a better idea. And off we went. We went into The Omega Grill and were seated by a friendly hostess, who turned out to be our waitress as well. I've been to OG a few times. I wouldn't bring my 87 yo mother here if it weren't good. She went with the chicken pot pie and I went with the Omega bowl. Food served. See pics. My Omega Bowl was awesome. Fried chicken, mashed taters, grilled corn, cheese and I went with the jalapeño gravy - I like it spicy. So dammmm good. This was a new one for me. If I was to make it, not sure what I would change. My mom had the chicken pot pie. I sneaked a bite. Very good. Lots of chicken and the top was a pastry puff type. Very good. When our waitress brought our food, I asked for some hot sauce, Texas, not Louisiana- too much vinegar. She said they had Bravado and it was made by one of their mgrs - see pic. There were 3, I tried all but liked the Arbol Chili & Garlic. Great flavor with just the right amount of heat. My mom loved here meal and so did I. I enjoyed mine as well. Never had a bad meal here ever. Can't wait int the next adventure here.

Me and a few friends went to omega grill on a Monday afternoon. The food was ok and the service was pretty good. I got the fried chicken and waffles. It was pretty good but not spectacular. The chicken pot pie was a little bland and unseasoned. The htx cheese was ok & the fried mushrooms were decent. Our waiter was really good! He was helpful and checked up on us regularly The vibe of the restaurant was decent, pretty typical grill aesthetic. Overall - it was alright

The food, the service, EVERYTHING is amazing! Thank you Jazy and Brendan for the great suggestions and service. An enjoyable night with fantastic food and attentive staff. We will be back with friends and family! xx

We ordered Fried shrimp, with creamed spinach and onion rings. The flavor of the food was good, well-seasoned, and it was new to me to have leaf spinach served in a cheese sauce and I decided I like it! If you like your food spicy, then order the Shrimo Cocktail. It was a little spicy for me, but the flavors were good. We ordered a stuffed baked potato with butter, sour cream and chives. The potatoes skin tasted great, not sure how it was seasoned, but we liked it and the prosaic boring stuffed baked potato was really delicious when I poured the remainder of my spinach's cheese sauce over it. Desserts are homemade, and today's offerings were crème brûlée and Key lime pie. They weren't bad. The owner was welcoming and I liked our nice chat, particularly as they were short-staffed as somebody had not turned up for work. Overall, we had no real expectations going in and thought the food tasted much better than we had anticipated. Try it.

The owner who answered the phone told me that actually the employees of one of the companies in the area reserved like the whole cow. I think he said 64 lbs or something like that. Savages. But he did say they could save a piece for us if I told him when I wanted to come in. I asked him for a good time to come. He said usually they're done cooking it by 12:30 pm and then it needs time to cool down. So he suggested mid-afternoon like around 2 pm. Ok. Well what the heck. A late lunch it is then. I've always been a whore for a good cut of meat. When we got there I told the host/waiter that we had a reservation and he just replied ok and didn't bother asking our name or checking us off a list or anything. Understandable I suppose since the place was empty. When we got the menus my first observation was that a number of the prices were higher by several dollars than as listed on their website, including the prime rib. The waiter replied it's just a few bucks, and then noted it's actually been like that for a few months. When I talked to the owner later he said they're waiting for the lady who handles their website to make the update. I've posted pics of their current in store menu so you can know the current prices. I think the waiter was new. Because he didn't ask how we wanted our prime rib cooked (I had to ask him later if we have a choice). Also when I asked for more horseradish (it doesn't come with the prime rib automatically) he took my plastic thimble looking cup and just refilled it, which seemed a bit unsanitary and odd. Also I had to ask for ketchup for the onion rings. When I was signing the bill he just hovered and immediately took it. It just felt weird. I dunno. Maybe his shift was ending or something. I know this sounds weird to comment on but the water tasted off. It's the first time I've ever said that. But it just tasted weird. I couldn't put my finger on it. Maybe like it already had some lemon in it? Yet there was a lemon slice on the rim of the glass. So I'm not sure. Anyway onto the prime rib. I thought it was ok. My kid absolutely loves prime rib and that's the real reason we came. But she just didn't like it here. However it is one of their most popular dishes and the way they sell out obviously folks in the area are ga ga for it. So definitely come give it a try for yourself. It comes 2 sides but not a baked potato which is $5 extra. I love baked potatoes but the extra cost made me not want to get it. The waiter said the mashed potatoes do not come with gravy but actually the sauce that comes with the prime rib is pretty thick and could easily be used for this. I thought the cream spinach was good as well as the fries and onion rings. Note the QR codes on the bill didn't work to pay. I'm not sure why. I think the waiter said something was wrong with their computers. When we asked for a to go box the lid on my gravy container didn't securely close. The waiter said that actually all of the containers have that problem. Yikes. Well just be careful you don't spill it in your car. I guess the waiter told the owner my kid didn't like the prime rib and when we were boxing it up the owner came to our table and was apologetic and super nice about it and offered to comp her plate. Now that's old school class. I've been to some of these newer places where they couldn't give a crap. But the owner here actually cares that people have a good time. So kudos to him. Their menu is extensive. And they have something for everyone. They also have a kids menu with reasonable prices. The monte cristo and pork knuckle were catching my eye. Maybe another day.

Sadly, it closed shortly after my visit. But I read in the reviews that this was formerly a Burrito District, so I didn't even realize this was the former Ori'Zaba's until I walked in. So apparently this spot has struggled to keep one concept for whatever reason. The interesting thing about Wise Street Eats is that you can opt to build a healthy bowl with Greek inspirations, or you can do what I did and order the Dirty Mac bowl with fried chicken, mac-n-cheese and cajun fries. I'm a real sucker when restaurants put "Most Popular" on their menu, which made my decision to order this, a quick one. What I will say is that, while I enjoyed the Dirty Mac, in retrospect, I would have preferred if it was a side dish, rather than my entire meal, because it was quite heavy (as one would expect). About halfway through it, I realized I was going to have to bring the energy to take down this valiant opponent. Next time, I'll build a bowl. Or maybe even go with a burger. But I do appreciate the dirty mac and if I was still a man who got hungover, I'd consider it a pretty elite hangover remedy.

Somehow, someway, it seems to never work out for me. But it finally happened and I'm mad at myself that it took so long. Probably 2+ years ago a friend and I were at a local sub shop in Sugar Land, and he mentioned how Blimpie was always his favorite. I couldn't even remember if I'd ever been to a Blimpie, but I saw that there happened to be one, so I bookmarked it on that day, and it haunted me ever since. Blimpie cares not about decor or vibes, but they do make an absolutely incredible sandwich. The menu is unique, in that each sandwich is basically just one ingredient different than the sandwich above it. I opted for the Blimpie Best Deluxe on parmesan bre The bread was pillowy soft. The flavor of the sandwich was absolute perfection. It somehow got better each bite. I could not believe how much I liked it and how sad I was when it was over. It will probably torment me indefinitely that I didn't order the larger sandwich. I will prevail. And I will visit again. My question though, is very simply: why did Blimpie almost completely go away? It's light years better than Subway.

I used to eat it daily back when a full meal was $4.99, and I've even had Subway in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. So yes, I have a calibrated palate for mass‑market sandwiches. They've got a handful of subs on special, but for a couple bucks more I went with my usual Italian--here called the "Italiano"--on Cheddar Jalapeño bread. And of course I did the footlong because size does matter. I asked for it toasted, only to discover they use a panini press, which flattens the bread like a stress test. Not my favorite. Ironically, I used to love Blimpie's oven‑style toast before Subway even offered it. They do have a separate oven for melting cheese, and that part I absolutely recommend. The sandwich itself was very good and definitely in Subway territory. For $1.29 you can grab a self‑serve cookie--critical, because I can select the front‑row cookie with the maximum chip‑to‑dough ratio. Fresh daily, solid flavor, very Subway‑adjacent. But I still prefer Subway's footlong cookie. It's a personality trait at this point. Staff was extremely friendly. I'm pretty sure the owner was working the counter, unless a gentleman of his seniority just enjoys staying busy or needs the cash, which is increasingly common these days. Honestly, that personal touch is probably what gives this place an edge over Subway. Pepsi products here. Acceptable, but I'm a Coke person. Blimpie is becoming an endangered species, even though it predates Subway by a year. But overall, I still think Subway has the stronger product.
