The roll which is served with every meal at dinner.

For some reason I thought this was a health food restaurant, but when I visited one day after craving a grilled chicken sandwich, I found out they have many fried items too. Upon first glance of the interior, it looks like this space used to be a bar or something with a huge bar area in the middle of the space off to the right side. There are many circular cut outs in the ceiling where huge room fans are installed. They make all their dressings homemade, and hand bread many of their fried items like mushrooms, onion rings and stuffed jalapeños. They have salads, burgers, and 12 different comfort food entrees. They also have a daily special menu that spotlights a couple items of the day and their coffees, soups and dessert. They are a beer and wine restaurant. One unique item they have on the menu is a fork and knife hot dog which costs $13. Wow, this better be one awesome hot dog. The day I visited, they had a party for about 30 senior citizens that were celebrating a birthday. Normally that many customers in a single group would make a restaurant pretty loud, but it was actually extremely quiet in the restaurant. Every good restaurant does something slightly different to set them apart. Here at dinner, they give you a dinner roll slathered in melted honey butter and rosemary. The roll itself seemed to be made from frozen dough, but the tasty butter made it edible. I ordered the chicken club and kept the fries as my side. As far as presentation, I'd give it a C. The fries are frozen breaded fries. The sandwich tasted better than it looked thankfully. Service was good throughout my time here. Overall, the meal was good enough and I will be coming back to try other options.

This place was amazing--food, service, and atmosphere. My husband and I stopped in on a rainy Thursday night, hungry and looking to try something new. We were warmly welcomed and told to sit wherever we liked. We started with the fried mushrooms, crispy and delicious. For our entrées, I had the Omega Chicken and he had the smothered pork chops. Both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The green beans with crispy bacon and seasoned mashed potatoes were the perfect sides. His pork chops were so tender, he said they melted in his mouth. We also loved the peach Bellini and by request the sangria/Bellini mix--so good. Omega Grill, you're now one of our favorites. We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic food, the waitress listened and made suggestions according to our taste, and she completely not only nailed it but exceeded all of our expectations. Our waitress was jasmine, and she was very attentive and informative, and knew the menu inside and out. Brendan came over and made sure that everything was going smoothly, and he was very accessible and approachable and friendly. What dishes that we have? The shrimp and grits and the chicken fried chicken bowl.. OMG, we were completely blown away! Put this place on your short list for your next outings.

I took my mom to see her great granddaughter, my 1st grandchild, who was born last week. It was a great time. A 4 generational moment. (With a lot of pics) So as soon as we got back in my truck, she said she was so hungry and wanted Chinese food. Like a buffet. I said I got a better idea. And off we went. We went into The Omega Grill and were seated by a friendly hostess, who turned out to be our waitress as well. I've been to OG a few times. I wouldn't bring my 87 yo mother here if it weren't good. She went with the chicken pot pie and I went with the Omega bowl. Food served. See pics. My Omega Bowl was awesome. Fried chicken, mashed taters, grilled corn, cheese and I went with the jalapeño gravy - I like it spicy. So dammmm good. This was a new one for me. If I was to make it, not sure what I would change. My mom had the chicken pot pie. I sneaked a bite. Very good. Lots of chicken and the top was a pastry puff type. Very good. When our waitress brought our food, I asked for some hot sauce, Texas, not Louisiana- too much vinegar. She said they had Bravado and it was made by one of their mgrs - see pic. There were 3, I tried all but liked the Arbol Chili & Garlic. Great flavor with just the right amount of heat. My mom loved here meal and so did I. I enjoyed mine as well. Never had a bad meal here ever. Can't wait int the next adventure here.

The thing I loved about this place the most was the fact that they are extremely flexible when it comes to substituting proteins or carbs to each customer's needs and wants. They were very open to any changes, while doing Keto that becomes super appreciated. The place is inviting, they have booths and tables. They have TVs and a rotating display of cakes. I ordered the steak salad and it came with a generous amount of steak. Nowadays, most places serve only a few thin slices of steak. This was an abundant salad along with abundant steak. We had a delicious spinach and artichoke dip, and my family tried their chocolate cake. They licked their spoons. I will for sure come back to this place, I definitely recommend

Me and a few friends went to omega grill on a Monday afternoon. The food was ok and the service was pretty good. I got the fried chicken and waffles. It was pretty good but not spectacular. The chicken pot pie was a little bland and unseasoned. The htx cheese was ok & the fried mushrooms were decent. Our waiter was really good! He was helpful and checked up on us regularly The vibe of the restaurant was decent, pretty typical grill aesthetic. Overall - it was alright

Stopped by for a quick dinner before a concert. The French onion soup was not good. The flavor was off and they used mozzarella on top I think which is not ideal for this dish. The sandwich and fries were really good and the meatloaf was nice too. We also got a slice of cake, they looked really nice in the case but it was not worth it. All the drinks tasted off the day I went. Not sure if it was just post hurricane issue or what but both the water and sodas tasted wrong. The servers were really nice but I probably would not go again.

We ordered the banana pancakes (about 3 for $9, which is a great deal), corned beef hash and eggs with a bagel and cream cheese -- some of the best I've had at a breakfast spot, and a brisket bowl (not pictured). Everything came out quickly and hit the spot for a late-night meal. Late-night bites for Easter are a tradition for us, and Katz's ended up being such a great surprise. Definitely a place I'd come back to more often.

I'm feeling nostalgic about missing my mother's food, and so had to order it when I saw they had a cabbage roll appetizer. One of those oldie but goodie foods that your mother and grandmother knew how to make, but most of us lost the recipe. There is a slight hint of sweetness in it that's quite appealing, it's different than my mother's version, but I thought it was really excellent!! Will order that again. I don't normally wax poetic about a pickle, but the one they put on my Reuben sandwich plate is worth an ode. I asked them to make the Reuben with pastrami instead of corned beef, and add extra Swiss cheese and Russian dressing. Bib up, it'll drip juices but that's a good thing. Anyway, the pickle on that plate was a three bears story - not too strong, not too bland, but absolutely perfect. I was in a traditionalist mood and so I ordered blintzes for dessert with blueberry sauce. This is my first time eating here, the food was really great, and the staff was warm and wonderful. And you know, the coffee tasted really fresh and was delicious as well! Next time I will order the cabbage rolls again, definitely the blitzes for dessert, and then I'll have to try something else off the menu. Voyage of discovery. Definitely coming back soon!

We ordered Fried shrimp, with creamed spinach and onion rings. The flavor of the food was good, well-seasoned, and it was new to me to have leaf spinach served in a cheese sauce and I decided I like it! If you like your food spicy, then order the Shrimo Cocktail. It was a little spicy for me, but the flavors were good. We ordered a stuffed baked potato with butter, sour cream and chives. The potatoes skin tasted great, not sure how it was seasoned, but we liked it and the prosaic boring stuffed baked potato was really delicious when I poured the remainder of my spinach's cheese sauce over it. Desserts are homemade, and today's offerings were crème brûlée and Key lime pie. They weren't bad. The owner was welcoming and I liked our nice chat, particularly as they were short-staffed as somebody had not turned up for work. Overall, we had no real expectations going in and thought the food tasted much better than we had anticipated. Try it.

So I hear Wednesday is their big day. It's Prime Rib day. I called a day ahead to see what hours…read moreit's served. The owner who answered the phone told me that actually the employees of one of the companies in the area reserved like the whole cow. I think he said 64 lbs or something like that. Savages. But he did say they could save a piece for us if I told him when I wanted to come in. I asked him for a good time to come. He said usually they're done cooking it by 12:30 pm and then it needs time to cool down. So he suggested mid-afternoon like around 2 pm. Ok. Well what the heck. A late lunch it is then. I've always been a whore for a good cut of meat. When we got there I told the host/waiter that we had a reservation and he just replied ok and didn't bother asking our name or checking us off a list or anything. Understandable I suppose since the place was empty. When we got the menus my first observation was that a number of the prices were higher by several dollars than as listed on their website, including the prime rib. The waiter replied it's just a few bucks, and then noted it's actually been like that for a few months. When I talked to the owner later he said they're waiting for the lady who handles their website to make the update. I've posted pics of their current in store menu so you can know the current prices. I think the waiter was new. Because he didn't ask how we wanted our prime rib cooked (I had to ask him later if we have a choice). Also when I asked for more horseradish (it doesn't come with the prime rib automatically) he took my plastic thimble looking cup and just refilled it, which seemed a bit unsanitary and odd. Also I had to ask for ketchup for the onion rings. When I was signing the bill he just hovered and immediately took it. It just felt weird. I dunno. Maybe his shift was ending or something. I know this sounds weird to comment on but the water tasted off. It's the first time I've ever said that. But it just tasted weird. I couldn't put my finger on it. Maybe like it already had some lemon in it? Yet there was a lemon slice on the rim of the glass. So I'm not sure. Anyway onto the prime rib. I thought it was ok. My kid absolutely loves prime rib and that's the real reason we came. But she just didn't like it here. However it is one of their most popular dishes and the way they sell out obviously folks in the area are ga ga for it. So definitely come give it a try for yourself. It comes 2 sides but not a baked potato which is $5 extra. I love baked potatoes but the extra cost made me not want to get it. The waiter said the mashed potatoes do not come with gravy but actually the sauce that comes with the prime rib is pretty thick and could easily be used for this. I thought the cream spinach was good as well as the fries and onion rings. Note the QR codes on the bill didn't work to pay. I'm not sure why. I think the waiter said something was wrong with their computers. When we asked for a to go box the lid on my gravy container didn't securely close. The waiter said that actually all of the containers have that problem. Yikes. Well just be careful you don't spill it in your car. I guess the waiter told the owner my kid didn't like the prime rib and when we were boxing it up the owner came to our table and was apologetic and super nice about it and offered to comp her plate. Now that's old school class. I've been to some of these newer places where they couldn't give a crap. But the owner here actually cares that people have a good time. So kudos to him. Their menu is extensive. And they have something for everyone. They also have a kids menu with reasonable prices. The monte cristo and pork knuckle were catching my eye. Maybe another day.

I had a blimpie near my house when growing up but it had been nearly 20 years since I've been to a location and tried their sandwiches. This location also happens to be very close to home, so it was only a matter of time before I visited. This location is pretty small and cozy, with a small section of old style carpet in the dining area up front which you rarely see in fast food restaurants, much less any restaurant, these days. I tried their 12" meatball parmeseana on parmasean flat bread as recommended by the sandwich maker. The sandwich itself was great and messy, unfortunately the meatball is not mostly beef like you might think. It's mostly pork with maybe a hint of beef. Service was excellent and the guys behind the counter are pretty quick and efficient when making sandwiches. Needless to say, I will just stick to a regular sliced meat sandwich next time as I feel they've changed their recipe for their meatballs over the years.
