The Oak Table Cafe in Sequim is an absolute gem. We visited on a Thursday morning and were surprised to find it very busy for a weekday--that alone says a lot about how popular and well-regarded this place is. Even with our large group, the service was outstanding--true 5-star treatment from start to finish. The staff made sure we were all well taken care of. Many of us ordered the house-made fruit mimosas, and both the Peach Bellini and Raspberry versions were wonderful. The Bloody Marias were also excellent. The biscuits and gravy was a hefty, satisfying portion--the gravy was thick and loaded with sausage, and the biscuits were perfectly homemade. All the portions were generously large, so we shared everything around the table. Even the kids' meals were big enough that us adults were nibbling from them too! The kitchen staff must be incredibly efficient and talented to keep up with that pace. The omelets were large and filling, served with fresh fruit and thick pieces of toast. I even took home my untouched pancakes (they came with the omelet) for my mom. Everything was delicious and made with care. If you're in the Sequim area, make sure to come hungry and put this place on your list--you won't be disappointed!

Back here again and I always recommend this spot when anyone I know is in the area. Place is still quaint and cozy. I initially went to the silverdale location because it was closer to me but the parking lot was packed, so I left and trekked the 1+ hour here. I was grateful to be seated right away. I was in need of coffee and had 2.5 cups. They were great with refilling it as soon as they saw it getting low. I of course ordered my first Eggs Benedict since I stopped eating vegan and this did not disappoint. It was just as delicious as the first time I ate it a few years ago. I definitely recommend it. Potato pancakes are so good, you can taste the butter that they fry it with. I got the sour cream and applesauce on the side. Can't wait to go back again.

Was headed to Crescent Lake but wanted some breakfast before getting there. Googled and several options came up but this place was the only one open on Friday morning. Reminds guests of an old fashion tavern in design and hospitality. Great place with great food. Was very crowded when we got there but still managed to seat us within 10 minutes. Had plenty of options to select from. Ordered two dishes: Nicole egg and veggie omelet (thought it may also have been Nicole Benedict - asked for their popular and said to surprise me...and they did) with an order of bacon, and Blueberry and Lemon Curd French Toast). Great sweet and savory combination is you're sharing. The lemon curd was delicious and ask for the "organic" syrup (they have two kinds and the fallback is the normal one that most folks are used to from a storefront bottle). Friendly staff and AWESOME, fresh squeezed orange juice. If you're driving by this town, highly recommend dropping by.

Loved everything about this place. Went for breakfast before a big backcountry trip in Olympic. We loaded up with calories and great food. Would eat here 3 days a week if I lived in the area.

Oak Table Cafe was one of the highlights of our trip, and we can't stop thinking about it. It's a local favorite, so be prepared for a short wait. The service was warm and friendly, the atmosphere felt homey and welcoming, and the portions were generous. The apple pancake alone is worth the visit!

I finally got a chance to try Oak Table. My mom said that the setup is different, and there are more tables in there now. It was really crowded, but I was glad we got a table without a wait. The waitresses all seemed very polite and happy. I was going to try their famous Apple Pancake, but then saw the Raspberry Lemon Bar French Toast breakfast special. The flavor was terrific, and the texture of the French toast was the best I've ever experienced. My mom liked the look of my raspberry syrup so much, that she asked the waitress to take away her maple, and bring raspberry for her pancakes. I also tried their very popular bacon. It had great flavor, but was very dry. Next time, I'd ask for it limp. I guess the crispy bacon is really popular, but wasn't really my thing. The flavor it was so amazing, though, that I can't wait to try it again, just less cooked. The Hawaiian Sunrise mocktail tasted so much like cherry, that I couldn't taste the pineapple that much, but the hot chocolate was seriously the best hot chocolate I've ever had. It was so creamy and sweet, and just the right strength of chocolate flavor.

Found this place on Yelp that had many reviews. We reached here for late brunch/ lunch. It was beautiful old fashioned interiors and all the servers were wearing beautiful dresses. We ordered an omelet with mushroom sauce and another omelet with tomato sauce. The mushroom one was good. Both the omelets came in with a side of potato pancakes. We even ordered freshly squeezed orange juice. This place had toilets with wheelchair assistance and a diaper changing station too. Our baby was given toys, coloring sheets, and colors and her chair was attached to our table.

Of course you need to fuel up here before your hikes.... Everything was delicious. I ordered the mushroom sauce on the side of my Eggs Casey. The sauce is tasty and would not worry me to have it on top (sometimes it's too much)- not this! The side of pancakes are just fluffy and tasty. We didn't order the apple pancake- but will tomorrow when we return!

Possibly the best breakfast I've had in Washington! At first, we were a bit apprehensive about the price (around $15-20 per entree), but once the food came out we were astonished by the portion size. The apple pancakes were especially massive and could feed 3-4 people. Not only were the portion sizes generous, the food was tasty too. The apple pancakes had so many textures: crumbly brown sugar, crisp crusts, stewed apples, and custardy interior. The omelet was also one of the fluffiest omelets I have ever had. I would go out of my way to get breakfast here again.

This place is amazing and I wish it was closer to home. Came for breakfast and beat the crowd (line out the door when we left). The decor is really unique - kind of a mix of 1980s, grandma-chic, and classy. Our waiter was super nice and gave us recommendations because we were torn on what to get. We tried a huge assortment of things and loved everything - apple pancake (YUM), german pancake aka dutch baby as I've heard them called (great), biscuits & gravy (grandpa loved it), regular pancakes (great), and a couple other wonderful dishes. Great coffee from a local roaster. We will absolutely come back here.

Had to revisit this place after our great meal about 15 years ago. Everything looked and felt as though only a year had passed. Staff super friendly, sadly like everywhere else the prices have risen greatly over time. Hubby ordered the classic Eggs Benny w/ fries instead of hash browns w/coffee. I ordered Eggs Benny Country Style on a croissant instead of muffin. Each were a whopping $20.50! (For an old school cafe that's high.... if it was a fancier water view place or maybe a fresh crab or salmon Benny sure.) Mine came with their grated potato pancakes. I asked about the sausage gravy since it came with a mushroom sauce so she brought me a small side but realized later was charged 3.25. They advertise their bacon as premium thick sliced from Seattle butcher, hickory smoked weighing over 1/2lb for 4 slices (9.00) it was good but honestly looked and tasted like a standard good bacon. We were expecting something more like decadent crispy pork belly for the price and description. Hubby enjoyed his meal, but eggs Benny should have a soft yolk and both of ours were cooked past that. Our server was so sweet we didn't want to complain. Coffee $5 but was good blend and ended up buying a bag they offer at register for $12 from local roaster down the street. My meal was good.... but unsure about the mushroom sauce and I love them. It was like this underlying slight sour taste that kept me from really enjoying it. The potato pancakes were different from what I recall. I thought they were more like latkes with a crispy potato taste/texture but these are so finely grated that you can't even detect they are shredded potatoes. It was more like a super thin buckwheat flavor to me, unique but was good with the yummy applesauce & sour cream. I ordered a Bloody Mary $12.50 was flavorful didn't feel any alcohol but fine. We enjoyed our meal for the most part, couple of slight disappointments but the prices are so extreme I don't know how people can afford eating breakfast here. Our bill with tip came to $90!!!! That's just crazy. I saw on the menu the price for side items like $4.75 for ONE EGG??? $5.95 for TOAST??? Wowza, Sorry but it just takes the enjoyment out of dining. That's just being greedy to your loyal customers.

Good apple cinnamon waffle (crispy, not sickly sweet and the taste of apple was clear). The classic eggs and potatoes didn't disappoint either. The staff was friendly and the restaurant took health measures very seriously. Despite a line and Covid vaccination checks, we got seated very quickly. read more

The oak table I went here for my last birthday a friend of mine picked me up and took me here very unexpectedly I had never been to oak table so I did not know what to expect everything here seemed a bit sugary to me and I don't really like pancakes however I got the yogurt parfait and oh my goodness it got me on a roll I eat one every day now and I hope to my to make mine as good as theirs so I would recommend their yogurt parfait and they're fresh lemon aid and ice teas read more

The portions are ginormous so prepare for that. I ordered the quiche, which was a generous portion, and came with toast and butter and side potatoes. The potatoes alone were more than enough for me. That being said it was quite yummy. The wait staff was really great. They are taking Covid safety seriously and I appreciated that. read more

I took 16 high school students to the Oak Table. We had just come from Graymarsh Farms where we picked strawberries. They were hungry! The staff at the Oak Table was quick to get us seated, served us water, took our order, and food was served to us with hardly any wait. The servers were funny and courteous. The food was as great as ever. EVERYONE loved their meal. Thank you Oak Table for always being consistent and so welcoming. Most of the students and the chaperones hadn't eaten here before but I think they'll all be back:) read more

This place is fabulous. The portions are large and could easily be shared if you are a small eater. Everything is fresh and reasonably priced. Service is a little rough right now so give them a little slack. My go to breakfast spot when I come to visit. read more

When the gods come down from Mount Olympus to swim in the Sea, this is where they stop for breakfast first. Not gonna lie, my wife and I considered moving to Sequim just to be near this place. A must try for anyone finding themselves nearby. read more

We are huge lovers of breakfast/brunch food and this place is it. They have endless options and the portions are plenty generous. The service was phenomenal and quick. Everyone seems to love the oak table but I really don't like their eggs. Tons of sauce and cheese on them. Ive tried several different omelettes and they are more like a soufflé. Definitely not for me. But, in saying that I do recommend the waffles and pancakes, they are very good. Good coffee and nice staff. read more

Today is 9/30/21 @1230pm. Attached photo is the sad order that took over 30 mins to complete. Whatever server is working at this time on this date needs some serious improvement. She made a bad experience worse. I had three orders to go and only two were given to me. When I tried to correct the order she acted like it was my fault and tried to rush me out of the restaurant w/ an enormous amount of attitude. To be told goodbye repeatedly while I'm trying to get my order situated is rude and uncalled for. I just moved to the area and I've eaten here a couple of times but this time makes me question if I'll ever return. I doubt I'll be recommending this place to any of my family or friends that come to visit. If the owners really care about their product and customer they'll take a serious look at this incident. Times are tough for everyone and just like staff deserves to be treated well and with respect, so do the customers. read more

We love love the Oak Table Cafe! Whenever we visit Sequim (1-2 times/year), we have to stop in. It is a must for our family. But I strongly recommend breakfast food rather than lunch food (sandwich, salad, etc.). Food portion is huge so don't be greedy and consider sharing. We are big eaters so when I say generous portion, I mean generous! read more

Ok..... COME HERE!!!!! The food is off the charts good!!! The sausage was was velvety and just the right spice! The potatoes were the best I have ever had! The toast was hardy and the homemade jam was sweet and fruity as it should be. And don't get me started on the pancakes and the syrup!! They give you a good amount of butter! But they don't skimp on anything. Service was friendly and quick! I love it here! The ambience was charming! You won't be disappointed!! read more

Whoa! This place blew my mind! My husband and I stayed in this charming little town, Sequim, when visiting Olympic National Park. So glad we stumbled upon this amazing place for breakfast. I will never ever forget how delicious their bacon and Swiss omelette is! It's baked so it's super fluffy and just tasted out of this world amazing. Their special Apple pancake was baked Dutch baby style and it was pretty good! Also really enjoyed their country style eggs benny and thick cut bacon! Such a delicious breakfast in a very cute, quaint setting and service was good too. Definitely a must if you're in the area! They have a menu packed full of great options but the baked omelette is a must! read more

Wow! Ordered the apple pancake. Should have read the reviews, it was. If enough for four. Amazing food. The service was a bit slow. But considering our waiter had a 12 top to deal with himself, he did a great job. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop in again. read more

We really enjoyed this place. It has pretty stain glass windows and an old feel to it. The back room has beautiful natural light all surrounded by windows. We ordered rasberry lemonade which taste fresh and mexican mocha which was very delicious at the beginning but towards half way, it started getting too sweet for me. The mexican mocha was topped with delicious whipped cream and both drink were large size. I ordered half size sesame salad - very good and a big size for being half. It came with a small warm roll with butter already in it. We also got the special which was a BLT with the choice of side salad. We would come back again. A little pricey but delicious. read more

Awesome food! I live really close to this restaurant so I have eaten here about 10 times now. And I love the Shrimp and Avocado sandwich on a croissant! Like that the place is pretty big so lots of room between you and the other guests as well. Very good server named Karen! Highly recommend! read more

Super delicious brunch food and I'm not even a brunch fan! Some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever gotten (they definitely put something in them that makes them better than just ordinary scrambled eggs) and the best best best dutch baby/German pancakes ever. The German pancake was crepe-y and had great texture and flavor and came with extra powdered sugar to add yourself which I reaaally took advantage of. read more

went on a road trip and was looking for a brunch place to feed the kids and this place was a gem. most of the parking was street parking, but in small town, it is plenty. walking in, there were some knickknacks to keep the kids entertained. the menu has a pretty decent list of items to eat. One kid got the chocolate chip pancake and it was loaded with chocolate. the other kid had a cheeseburger and it was a full on 1/4lb burger. he could only eat half and i did dad duty to finish it. the burgers are pretty good and juicy and I am glad I had one as well. three other members of our party had the omelets and wow was it good and large and full of goodness. they were about the size of an overstuffed chipotle burrito. The staff was friendly as well. the only knock i have for the place is cleanliness. two chairs at our table had chocolate on it. the mens ADA stall was clogged as well. Overall, if i am passing through the town i would eat there, but will always remember to wipe down the seat first. read more

Worth every penny. I've never had anything there that I didn't like and they'll work with you to choose something if you are having trouble. I've popped in every time I'm in town and tried something different. The ingredients are fresh, seasonal and local and delicious! If you are a local you know this place already, if you are passing through make this one of your stops. You won't regret it! read more

Please stop the tacky or lower your prices. The owner showed up looking like she was on crack and on her way to a strip show and didn't acknowledge any patrons. Sad decline.

We have been going to The Oak Table since we moved to town back in 1986 and we keep coming back for MORE! The Apple Pancake is one of the best things I've ever eaten in my LIFE! My favorite is the Eggs Nicole! Their own recipe creation! Mmmm! And to top it off, THIS is the REAL IMPORTANT STUFF; I've been a service technician my whole time up here and have been behind the scenes in virtually every restaurant up and folks let me tell you, there are several I will not eat or even drink in, but Oak Table is not one of those! I personally have been in every area of Oak Table. I'm talking from the crawl space under the office floor to the attic and everywhere in between and that's a fact and I'm here to tell y'all that they are a VERY CLEAN AND SANITARY THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING, not just in the kitchen or public areas! Pricey Pitfall! I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at the Oak Table Cafe, and let me tell you, it was a financial fiasco! The prices were so astronomical that I half-expected the menu to be made of gold leaf. I ordered a simple coffee and toast, thinking I could escape with my wallet intact, but alas, my hopes were crushed when the bill arrived. It turns out that a cup of coffee and a slice of bread cost more than a ticket to a Broadway show! I could practically hear my wallet sobbing. This cafe seems to think it's serving meals crafted by culinary deities, but in reality, the only divine thing about it is the divine punishment you'll face when you check your bank account afterward. Save yourself from financial ruin and dine elsewhere - unless, of course, you enjoy the exquisite taste of regret served on an overpriced platter! read more

This is the best place i have found for breakfast in 100 miles.Their food is made with pride. the presentation is art,everthing is cooked to perfection.It may be a bit on the high side price wise but certainly well worth it.Eating here is an event of your day. I am sure you like dining here.While in the area you may want to visit Hurricane Ridge. It's without out a doubt one of the most beautifull places in the world on a clear day. You drive about 14 miles up this mountain and you can see for hundreds of miles in every direction.If you are from the Seattle area and hav'nt been here your really missing out on some of the best the north west has to offer. read more

Stopped here for breakfast on our way into Olympic National Park on a Sunday morning. Got seated almost immediately. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. It's an old fashion style and the waiters even dress the part to compliment the feeling. I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict; the eggs were poached beautifully and the hollandaise sauce was exceptional. My friend had the Egg Nicole (w/Potato Pancake), Mushroom Omelette w/ Buttermilk Pancake. There were alot of good options, but we were so full. Maybe next time if we go back in the area. read more

Do yourself a favor and check this place out. The owner's brother owns Chestnut Cottage in Port Angeles, I believe, and both are excellent restaurants. The food is a delight. I love the barbecue chicken salad and waffles are yummy as well. Portions are a good size and customer service is great. read more
