I don't quite understand the costumes and would prefer a classier presence at least on prime rib night (date night for most in Sequim). Some of the outfits are just tacky. Last week someone was wearing a red lingerie top that was completely inappropriate and unflattering and honestly not age appropriate for herself or the clientele, including children, and tonight for "neon" night, I literally saw a servers gut hanging over her pants and saw her thighs rubbing together as she walked, under what looked like fishnet, and the same server that was trying to rock the red lingerie prior, tried to squeeze herself into a denim sausage casing of a dress. Please stop the tacky or lower your prices. The owner showed up looking like she was on crack and on her way to a strip show and didn't acknowledge any patrons. Sad decline. read more

Haven't rated this place in years. New owner that used to be a lead server I'm told. I hope she's okay. Food is more expensive which is to be expected with rising costs but the quality is almost non existent. Got a bbq burger but with chicken. The chicken was rubbery like it was boiled from frozen and the sandwich was conspicuously in contaminated by bbq flavor. Fries were good and for once I didn't ask for less fries but certainly got less. $20 tastes extra disappointing when you can't afford the alcohol to wash it down with. Sad. They do a good burger special on Mondays. Until that price rises again I'll go back for that but nothing else. read more

We heard good things but were disappointed. The server was hard to find for refills on drinks and the food was barely average. My steak salad was a pile of very wet lettuce with a few cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. The steak was mostly gristle and inedible. I had to find our server and ask where the avocado was. She came back with a few small slices of it. Meanwhile, the DJ started playing loud hip hop at 8:00 which meant we couldn't talk to each other. Oasis is one of our go-to places. Good menu selection, generous portions, reasonable prices, casual vibe. Service is not super fast, but it's fast enough. They have Daily Specials, my favorites are Taco Tuesday and Prime Rib Friday (after 4 pm). The Burgers and Wings are pretty good too. I'm not a big fan of their Banh Mi sandwich or Korean BBQ appetizer, they were too salty for me. The Bar is open til midnight Sunday - Thursday, til 2 am Friday & Saturday. My wife and I ordered food to go, I asked for blue cheese dressing on my side salad, she asked for ranch dressing for her fries. Neither sauces were included in our meals. And we waited for almost forty five minutes! The noise levels were so loud! The music from the live band seriously felt and sounded like 170 decibels to me-twice the OSHA limit for work places and the noise limit that human hearing can tolerate before hearing loss ensues. This establishment should be audited for noise levels in my opinion. I have diagnosed hearing loss and I am concerned that the noise levels may be too loud for the hearing of other customers. read more

Brought my daughter in on her 21st bday & got the coldest reception & service I've ever experienced. No happy birthday or even a smile for that matter. Bartender seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else, assisting anyone else. We moved ourselves to an area where we could get a server to help since we didn't receive any from the bar tender & out side of his snide remark he was much more helpful(not pleasant). After receiving our drinks after 15-20 min I quickly paid & went to a much more friendly environment. This happened in Nov. Haven't been back since. We love the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich. The fries are great also. Very good customer service. They have live music every 2nd and 4th Wednesday, starting April 8th, '26 and going through the summer. Comfortable and lively place with pool tables and dart boards, and the best onion rings I've had! Pleasant waitress and plenty of menu options. The ruben sandwich was good, also was dip. The cubano less successful. A load of roasted pork, that in Itself was tasty, but that's all I could taste. The bread fell apart and I had to eat it with a knife and fork. Oasis used to be our fave place. Always great food- the best French dip/ Philly cheesesteak. Prime rib was the best in town. We had some family in town from the east coast- of corse we took them to oasis! Upon entering we stood waiting to be seated for a good 8 minutes- it was not busy. When the waitress finally came she seated us and left. We waited for 20 minutes and I just figured maybe she was on break. I ended up going to the bar for menus. Again- there were ppl there, but it was not busy. Most of the customers were playing pool/ darts and were in the bar. But it was not what I would consider busy. Most tables/booths were open. Finally about 40 minutes after walking through the door the waitress comes and by that time we were thirsty and already knew what we wanted. Once we started to order we were shot down with "we are out of that".... Finally, I asked her to tell us what they did not have so we could figure out what we wanted. My husband and I both ordered burgers, our guests ordered fettuccine Alfredo and a plate of tater tots with cheese. My kids both ordered chicken strip baskets. Now, I should have just packed everyone up when I had to get the menus myself- but we love this place.... And maybe we should have left when we had to hear the list of what they were out of..... but nope. I couldn't accept that this place had changed. An hour went by and we finally got our food. The burgers were good. But that was all. My kids chicken strip baskets were a chicken tender- one. And it was so over fried that there was literally nothing inside the impenetrable crust- like the chicken meat vaporized. The fettuccine Alfredo was most likely a boxed noodle mix, and the tater tots with cheese was a brick of burnt tots and dehydrated cheese stuck in an unbreakable tater tot brick permanently adhered to foil. You literally could not eat it. The fact that the waitress looked at it, picked it up and still brought it to us to eat was shocking. Our guest returned his tots- didn't order anything else. Both my kids ate their fries but couldn't eat their chicken. Bottom line- I don't know wtf is going on but that entire experience was crap- so much so that I won't be back. I'm so disappointed! And I just found out it's under new owners-. I had no idea- but that explains it. They need a new cook, new waitress and a new kitchen manager who can order enough food to feed their patrons. What a fun place in downtown Sequim! There was a band playing when we walked in so we found a couple chairs at the bar so we could hear them! Such a great vibe here! It was wing Wednesday so we tried traditional hot wings and some garlic parmesan wings. Both were delicious! All the servers were friendly and personable! We will definitely be back! read more

We absolutely LOVE the prime rib on Fridays! Get there early because their prime rib sells out! The large cut is BEST. Enough for a great meal and then I slice the leftovers for a steak salad the next day! We recently heard that they are selling this place! We had an AMAZING experience at this place. (I think a lot of the lower-star reviews are one-off flukes and I'm glad we didn't listen to them). We stopped here in the middle of a 6 hour drive with our toddler on a Sunday night. We were greeted immediately and sat in a booth. We placed our food order within 4 minutes. The server was very responsive and friendly, and checked on us a lot. There was a live band and lots of people dancing. The food was served quickly -- the lava cake is awesome! read more

I've been a patron at the oasis in Sequim, Washington for at least 10 years or more. previous owner hosted trivia night . I and a few of my friends where there most every week. The menu and the food is good. The service is nonexistent. for the past few months; I have phoned my order in and seated by the host or hostess and it's worked out for me for the server. Today was different. There was only one server and one bartender . server seated me and forgot all about me. no utensils , no offer of drink , 20 minutes goes by and I go to the pick up window, where the servers get the food from the kitchen . there was my order sitting there. I take it to the table, is completely cold, the fries not edible. I ate 1/4 of my clubhouse sandwich and finally I waved my armshoping to get either either the server or the bartender attention. Finally, the bartender comes over and I tell her it's not acceptable. I had to go get my own food. I don't have any utensils or a napkin or anything to drink. I said seems youare short staffed, her reply was no we're not ! I only see two people on the floor. She wanted to argue with me about that, and I said I don't know who your manager is but.... She rudely retorts "I am the manager" and I'm thinking to myself that these are not the qualities of a food service manager that I would want to represent my business. That manager was not willing to: take accountability for : no service,cold food and wanted to charge me $19 for a sandwich. I said I ate of it I'll pay for the 1/4 I ate so I did , When she went to get me change at the bar, she told MY story to a patron sitting at the bar snickering at me. in my opinion this adolescent behavior is unprofessional. when the former owner had it there was never an issue with service. It was a I always looked forwardto going.... Guaranteed for fun, food kindness. Service with a smile! Both people on that floor today were not kind happy or helpful people. Oh my god. This please is amazing. I'm not local but I work at a smash burger company down in Oregon and I've never had a better smash burger than I have here. I got the Hawaiian smash and holy shit I was amazed. It may look small on the outside but inside is very welcoming. Wonderful service! Dawn was our server and she was absolutely lovely. Also, if you get fries, definitely go with the sweet potato fries WITH ranch. Their sauces are house made and it's truly unique. Very affordable for what you get and unlike other restaurants where you pay way too much for a burger and it's nothing special. This place is definitely a go to and you get what you pay for. Well located in central Sequim this restaurant has a pleasant facility and convenient hours. It offers a family atmosphere so suitable for this small town. The staff is friendly but not overly polished. The costs are moderate and the food adequate to very good depending on the dish. One of the best things about this truly community focused business if that it offers space in its events room to activities of local interest, free of charge; asking only that some attendees purchase something from the menu. My husband and I have been coming here most every week for a very long time (years) there had never been an issue, the food, the service has always been very good, we have seen a lot of turnover in the staff in the last 6 months or so. The first time there was an issue with misinformation from our server. The second time our server mishandled our drinks. In all the years, these were the only issues. Since then, we have been shunned which makes us very uncomfortable. We have noticed it isn't busy as before and there are many empty tables. Went for burgers on Sunday. Service was quick and attentive. The Poblano Smash Burger is the best I have ever had. I doubt anyone can beat it. My boyfriend had the sourdough with mushrooms and onions and he also said it was the best. We are always on the search for good burgers and in Sequim this is the place. We just moved here recently and glad we found the Oasis. Oh and the French fries and tots are also the best. Great job to everyone. read more

ok, I've been there both before and after the change of ownership. The food's been consistently good. so no complaints there, but this last time, the service was so poor, I ended up going to the pick up window to get my meals. The assigned waitstaff, had just forgotten about us and was engrossed with a customer at the bar, and had stopped her rounds. So after a frustratingly long wait, I got up and saw our food order just sitting there on the shelf, the supposed waitress, was making a drink for someone at the bar. and I took the food myself. outrageous isn't it? wth with training a new waitress? if you're going to flirt with customers to get them to drink more, don't work the floor and leave hungry people hanging. just work the bar and let a waitress that hustles serve the diners. It's a BIG place so there are enough seats for big parties. We had some Clam Chowder that was so tasty and way different than any Clam Chowder I have ever had!! My wife got the wings which the Garlic Parmesan dry rub and she got them wings EXTRA crispy which is the way to go!! I got a Cider which was on tap and bomb! My wife got a Vodka Tonic. Great prices!! Okay, first off, I'm going to title my review "Nickel and Dime". We have been to Oasis Bar & Grill many times and the food, for the most part, has always been good. Things to be aware of: 1. They have never been known for fast service, 2. They have changed owners recently (not a bad thing at all, but there are some learning curves), 3. The food is still good, 4. They should scale back on their menu (sometimes less is more), and their menu has WAY too many items on it for the cooks to keep up with when they have large crowds, 5. I was also aware of some of the extra "charges" when ordering like cheese, grilled onions and the ever-famous extra dressing charge, 6. They have some new staff and with new staff MUST come training. Now, all of that being said...fast forward to last night: We we're seated at 6:20p (no mention of, "your server will be right with you, or would you like some water, etc."). There was one other table that had two people in it in our section. The server finally came over to the other table and brought them a second glass of wine, promptly turned and walked past our table without saying a word. Another couple came in and sat in our section where the same server immediately walked over with two menus for them and walked past our table (again). Finally at 6:40 when I saw the server again, I asked for a couple of menus. She looked surprised, returned with the menus, and walked away. The people at the newer table behind us, flagged down the server and ordered a couple of drinks. They had to flag the server down again to ask what happened to their drinks as they had never received them. Server says, "oh, they're working on them". We had to flag the server down to finally get our beverage order taken, ask for water, salt for the table, eating utensils, and a few other things. These requests were finally taken care of. Now on to the food. I decided to order a child's burger because I wasn't that hungry. I ordered it with grilled onions and cheese (I was aware of the upcharge). The server asked if I wanted lettuce, sliced onion, tomato and pickle as well. I said I did. Food finally came, was good and then the bill arrived. What I didn't realize, as I had ordered this burger many times in the past and never had this happen, was that they charge for EACH one of these items! What? I have never, in my entire life been charged for a piece of lettuce, an onion and tomato slice, and a pickle chip when it comes to ordering a burger; it's always been included. We got up and grabbed a menu to take a look. Yep, in fine print, it did say under the child's burger, that lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickle could be ordered for an extra charge! Maybe that's because it was a childs order? OK, my bad. Shame on me once for not seeing the fine print and "assuming" it would be included as part of the burger, but I guarantee it won't happen again. In fairness, I know the cost of everything is going up, it's hard to find people to work and businesses are suffering. BUT, revamp the things that need to be addressed, don't nickel and dime your customers, train the people you have to make customers want to come back and above all, take pride in what you have as your customers are your bread and butter. We will be back, but coming in a bit wiser than our last visit. So sorry, but there's some work to be done here! read more

Went here tonight with a group to watch the Seahawks game and experienced the most terrible service. We walked into the establishment and were snapped at, being told that we need to wait despite the fact that we were waiting patiently, while other patrons were given "open seating". Afterward, we were offered what ever table we want, but our server looked frustrated when we quickly decided to move from one table to another table, even though we had not put any orders at all, or been serviced in any way. He then came to take our order, and when I said he could bring me which ever white claw was the closest, he went silent and angrily looked at me until I gave a specific flavor. He then snapped at me again and walked away quickly. Later, when he asked if we wanted any food and we politely declined, he got angry and walked away again, clearing all the menus. Finally, as we decided we should just head out, he lingered around looking over my shoulder every so often, checking if we were going to tip and also peering down my shirt! We also witnessed him snapping at other customers and left shortly after. This is probably the worst service I've ever had and I would never go back here again. read more
