Stymies is a great place for happy hour for food & beverages. . It has a nice inside dining, and outside dining overlooks the golf course. I have had great service each time i have come here.

Stymie's Bar and Grill is arguably in the top three of all Sequim restaurants. The food is always gourmet fresh and fixed to perfection every single time. I love the Chicken-Blueberry Salad, the Chicken Marsala, and several other meals. And sometimes I enjoy a tall cold beer with my meal, and they always have a delicious beer I can test with my meal. Always friendly, always a relaxing in a sports-bar type environment. Wait, I'm getting hungry now. Gotta go. On my way to Stymies.

We were on our way into camping and stopped here thinking it was just a causal restaurant but nope on a golf course haha The food was amazing and the drinks were amazing. The staff were also amazing! I cannot wait to come back here again!

My food was fantastic. I had the balsamic glaze steak. The steak was perfectly cooked to my liking. The goat cheese on top was a perfect compliment to the flavor of the steak. Service was good and attentive. The ambience was very golf course centered. My wife had the fish and chips and it was not very good. The coleslaw was good, the fish batter was not good, it was burnt. We also had the tater skins, they were also very good.

What a little jewel off the beaten path. I can't say enough positive things about the service, food and location. I had the ahi tuna app, cedar Louie salad with shrimp and crab and a paper plane cocktail. All were absolutely delicious. Service was spot on and the staff could not have been friendlier. The view with the golf course (big surprise on how nice) was beautiful. Highly recommend

Great fish and chip! But would not recommend crab roll - very little crab and heavy on mayonnaise that you can't really taste the crab!

I can't remember ever having clam chowder as good and the fish tacos are absolutely loaded with fish. Ordering is usually done via QR code, but they are also happy to orders at the register. One thing to note: on our visit, the restaurant left the front door open and didn't turn on heating so we found it rather cold inside. Clam Chowder in Sourdough Bread Bowl ($14) - Salty Girls has one of the best preparations for chowder bread bowls I've encountered. They expertly hollow out the center as much as absolutely possible, leaving maybe only half an inch of bread on the sides (I think they use the trimmings to make their homemade croutons). This allows them to ladle in the maximal amount of clam chowder, much more than most I've had in the past. While I believe the bread is some commercial one, it has a distinct, but light, sourdough taste and doesn't have the overwhelming taste of stabilizers and preservatives that some bread bowls run into. It's toasted very nicely, giving a fantastic crust, while the interior bread remains light rather than dense, yet holds up to the chowder well. The chowder itself is pretty good. It's thickened, but still just runny enough to not feel like it's been over reduced. Not clumpy or super heavy as some other chowders. There's a strong herbal quality in the mix, combined with large pieces of clam and bacon. The amount of clam isn't very generous, but there's enough of the chewy mollusk to get at least a piece per spoonful. Lots of tender diced potato chunks complete the chowder. There's by far the most potato in terms of ingredients in this dish, making it very carb heavy. The chowder is served steaming hot and remains quite hot for a long while even in the cold air of the restaurant. (4/5) Crab Melt ($18) - Interesting open faced sandwich, with the crusty heel portion of a ciabatta roll, toasted until crispy on the flats, but still softer on the interior, albeit thin. It's topped with an ice cream scoop of crab salad. The salad is essentially tuna salad with the crab substituted for tuna. This means there's a ton of crab and not much filler - plenty of sweet shreds of crab meat, mixed with a couple of crunchy pieces of celery in a creamy sauce. The crab salad is then topped with cheese, then the entire creation is broiled until the cheese on top becomes bubbly and the cheese that flows down the sides of the bread becomes essentially a crunchy cheese skirt. Something to note, not necessarily a negative, is that the center of the crab salad scoops remains cold, which is in stark contrast to the warmed exterior. The dish comes with a side of ridged kettle chips. Robustly crunchy, simply salted. Surprisingly good to dip into the clam chowder in fact. (4/5) Salty Girls definitely serves some good seafood dishes. I certainly wouldn't mind returning the next time I'm in Seqium. Finally a week ago, I was able to have two orders, one that was a BBQ flavor and the other traditional hot. We also ordered a basket of tater tots. This was the best item for our entire evening by far. Such a generous order, too. We didn't think we'd finish them when they arrived, but given the quality of the wings (not so great), we did mow them all up. The dings: well, the wings were just meh. Fatty, not crispy, smoke flavor ok...but neither the BBQ nor the hot were particulary good. Big ding: ZERO white wine. Last time, ok, there was no Chardonnay, I can accept that (barely...this is NOT a Chardonnay kind of place). But this time, red only. Apparently they don't stock any white...I can see where it might not be a big draw, but hey, just buy a BOX of it, keep it in the fridge and someone will order it in the 30 days the box holds its freshness. Second big ding: NO darker, heartier beer than lagers and IPAs. Not even an Alaskan Amber in a bottle. I guess if the guests don't drink it, then why order it. We probably won't come back except for when the Badd Doggs Blues Society plays, but couldn't we BRING in what we want to drink and pay a corkage? Or do we have to go out in the parking lot and sneak a shot? I really WANT to support this place, but, as of now, except for the tots, I'm not sure what I'd come here for. And that's not enough. Bring back Zoog's breaded Jalapeno poppers!

I really liked The In Between's logo and interior design, it felt like stepping into the Prohibition era. We ordered a drink each from the Seasonal Summer Menu and shared a hummus plate. The drinks were nothing extraordinary but pretty good, and the hummus plate was a great shareable snack for the two of us. However, the service was super slow and frustrating. The staff were overextended since they were taking on both the bartender and server roles, so it was very difficult to catch their attention. We ended up having to approach them while they were in the middle of making a drink after trying to flag them down for 20 minutes and failing. We were in a bit of a rush towards the end so this was not the best experience, but definitely a bar worth checking out if you're not in a rush and have a lot of patience!
