    Bavarian pretzel, $10
    Joann H.

Portions were small but the food was delicious. I had the teeny tiny dungeness crab melt for $24 and my sons each had a delicious hot Bavarian pretzel. Desserts were absolutely incredible- we had the s'more chocolate mousse dessert and the special creme brulee was Chai. Absolutely perfect and delightful. The ciders were also fantastic (lavender black currant and strawberry rhubarb get my seal of approval). We popped in after the lunch rush but it seemed like folks are sleeping on this little gem. Next time I'll go for the fig prosciutto flatbread but everything was wonderful and would return.

Spicy fig jam goat cheese flatbread. Bury me with that happened on this place accidentally for date night and it was so good! We had the spicy fig jam goat Brie prosciutto flatbread, the sausage mushroom kale hand pie, the storm king sandwich, and the dessert danish. All were super delicious and quality ingredients but that flatbread I'll be dreaming of from now on. I don't think I've ever thought twice about a flatbread before shout out to our server for recommending it Italian rustic vibes and just a fun new spot to check out

We had a 15-20 min wait on a busy Tuesday night but we're glad we waited! Our server was friendly and helpful with choosing cocktails because they had a to. Of unique selection. Haven't ordered more than one at a restaurant before but had to try two here! We thoroughly enjoyed our final selections of Ginny from the Block, Garden era, strawberry bourbon smash and Blackberry goose beer! For our mains we got the alaskan cod and chips and Blackened cod tacos and loved it all. They really know how to prepare tasty cod! The Alaskan cod and chips had the perfect crispy texture and my blackened cod tacos had all the flavor profiles you need. A hint of heat in the Thai chili slaw with a creamy avocado, Crema and the brightness of mango salsa and of course a touch of sour with the HOUSE made pickled red onions. Even better they let me substitute corn tortillas in for the flour. But you can't mix and match your proteins. I didn't need to because I loved both of my blackened cod tacos. The atmosphere is in the name: cozy Gastropub. They have a plethora of beers on tap, but parking is solely on the street so a little bit more challenging than picking your beer but I don't think it would be too challenging if you're up for a small walk. We were able to walk from our Airbnb, so didn't have to figure that part out. Pretty sure it was farther than any walk you might have to do for parking!

The sandwich was pretty good and the fries were excellent. I also got an orange cream margarita, which was soooo unique and SO delicious. Prices are reasonable, the vibe is great, and our server was nice and quick! The waiting was a huge shame, but our experience mostly made up for it.

A few things to correct your comments: - there were three tables were seated following me and they all got the dishes before me. One table with couple, one with four people and one at the counter. - the note I put on was not to the waitress blunt to you. I said specifically " lady with black shirt". Your tone made me felt that I shouldn't check what is my order status after 30mins wait. We came in around 9:30am Saturday and ordered traditional breakfast with French toast. Waited over 30mins, the later customers all got their dishes and next table finished theirs. When the waitress was checking with kitchen for us, a lady with black shirt came and said: "it normal wait for 30mins and you are 25mins now, still five mins to go". I am a bigger supporter of local small business, but I would appreciate if they can let me know when we arrived that waiting is 30mins after ordered. I still gave 15% tips as I can see the sorry face from the waitress - I normally pay min 20% for small business. I also noticed that we were the only Asian table during that period.

Got some oysters which ended up coming with some bizarre sweet dipping sauce?? I've never seen it before. Asked the server if we could get some vinegar or like a cocktail sauce and was given horseradish. Got some fish and steak for our entrees which upon arrival/ my fish dish's sauce got sloshed all over my boyfriend's lap and table which the server was somehow not aware of. Fish was alright and the steak was very overcooked. Honestly nothing against the server, they were very kind. Just either wasn't their day, they felt overwhelmed, or they were knew. When it comes to food/ the menu a something needs to step up.

Firehouse came up with consistently good reviews, and what I noticed more than anything was the owner, Trevor, was individually feeling many responses; good or bad. This impressed me so we decided to grab some burgers. The young man taking our orders was manning the Lane outside the very small outlet. He was thorough, he knew his business, and he was polite with a great sense of humor. My partner had the bacon bleu burger and I had the aftershock smash. Like a scene out of When Harry Met Sally, we had all sorts of specific requests: no onions on this, Swiss instead of cheddar, whatever. The kiddo took this all in stride, unlike the professional he was repeated our order back to us without having made one mistake. By the way-it was all quite good. Burgers were good. Fries were good. The only offhand request would have been allowing me to try the speciality lemonade as part of my combo-we would have paid the up charge. As for as I'm concerned, if you're in the area and you want a burger, try them out. They have tons of choices and the smash options are solid. Thanks.

When we arrived, my son noticed that the order-taker "looked pretty young." I was able to tell him that this place was family-owned because of Yelp, so "maybe he is the owner's son. If so, that's pretty cool. I loved that we could order with three cars in front of us and, by the time we got to the window, we only had to wait a couple minutes for our two custom burgers. The 7yo told me his burger was "really good!" And I really liked the flavor of my Firehouse burger. We loved that there was a choice between regular fries and the waffle variety. Next time, and there will be a next time, I want to try the onion rings. I played it safe this time, but since I'll be back, that's a route I will take.
