I ordered the Beecher's cheesy Cajun fries. The fries were really good (gave me a ton in my to go order). I'm knocking it down a star b/c it wasn't clear which line was for pick up for to go orders and b/c they dropped the ball in entering my order after I called it in by phone (the cashier couldn't find anything order in the system & when he was asked the 4-5 girls behind the counter if they took any phone orders, they were all just doing nothing while standing around looking at him blankly while eating fries). I was in a bit of a time crunch b/c I was heading over to the movies at the park (Port of Everett Boxcar Park). I will give credit that the cook put in rush order to get my order out ASAP read more

I really wanted to like it. The fish seems really fresh - it tasted great. The clam chowder was really good. The fries are, I think, standard Sysco 3/8" fries. There's no seasoning on the fries, no salt or anything. The batter for the fish was completely bland, again no salt or other flavors. It was like chewing on flavorless clouds. Also, it was so oily that it was soggy by the time I got to eat the last 2 pieces. Ketchup is not available with the other condiments for some reason so I didnt get any ketchup with the fries. I think you have to ask for it special? The bussing situation is complicated and awkward. Hopefully it gets better. I'm rooting for them read more

I stopped in this afternoon to give this place a try. I walked in and they had a fairly wide menu of options, and they had some specials. One of the specials they offered was fish and chips made with rockfish, so I ordered this and sat at the table, waiting patiently. They brought out the food and it was super delicious... The fish was coded in beer batter. It was light it was tasty, it was very satisfying for a late lunch in Everett. I highly recommend that you give this a try next time you pass through Everett. Don't go to the Anthony's restaurants, they've had their time; Try "The Net Shed", you'll be glad you did! read more

Dinned at the Net Shed today and brother, it was a great decision. The cod was flaky and moist but the breading stayed crispy, even with a healthy application of the 'dill'icious tater sauce. The Hot and Honey shrimp provided a fabulous juxtaposition to the Cod. More sweet t than hot but definitely hit the button on yummy. The Chowder had the perfect combination of clams, potato and celery covered in a Baby Bear ( not too thick and not too thin) white broth. If you get two items with fries, substitute one for a side Caesar Salad. The homemade dressing and croutons are fantastic. Olivia crushed it with friendly and attentive service. Such a wonderful addition to the Everett Waterfront. I can, without trepidation, recommend this 'Fish Bar' style restaurant and will be my goto for fresh seafood and a frosty Mac & Jack. read more

My bff and I had lunch at The Net Shed today at the Everett Waterfront. It's owned by the same group that owns Tapped. Same concept where you order at the counter and get your own drinks. I had the lobster and crab toast and a cup of crab bisque. I loved the toast. It was small but very filling. The bisque was ok. Will try the chowder next time which my friend had and liked. She had the loaded lobster fries which were huge. She liked them. It's a bit pricey. Service was great from Quinton who took our orders to Amy who helped us with the menu and brought our food out. Normally I dont love giving out secrets in fear that places like this will get over run... but its gonna happen anyway! If you love seafood and love a hospitable bunch of folks and a beautiful setting,.. this is your place. I was in tonight killing time when my daughter was at volleyball practice and W-O-W. The food was FANTASTIC. Fresh, flavorful, beautiful presentation, etc. The crew working there was upbeat and friendly. It was their first week and clearly they are still figuring some things out logistically, but mostly that was just handeling a big audience. There was a big line, but it was Friday night at 6:00 - so fair enough. You order at the register. Then find a table - which seemed daunting, but really groups filtered out about as fast as they came in,... so I got a spot right away. I got cioppino and a beer. I waited about 15 min and the food was out. I talked a bit with the folks next to me and they enjoyed their fish and chips as much as I enjoyed my order. It felt very communal - which I appreciated being there by myself. Parking was a little tough, but really parking a ways away and walking by the water just added to the charm for me. These guys are on to something. If you love seafood and are thinking about it, give it a shot. read more

We have been so excited for this place: fresh fish right by the marina is a no brainer but it feels like they had to get a few other concepts out of the way to make room for something like this. The hours cater more to the day time and early dinner crowd so double check before you think you can have a late meal here (our first mistake when hoping to try it one weekend). The second and largest issue though is that the ordering system is a total mess. The restaurant has a good number of tables (and I heard them say the outdoor seating will add even more soon) but they stay full and you cannot put in a food order until you have a table number. Like, can't even have them start typing it in or pay and wait for a table to open. This causes a huge line up at the door and honestly doesn't really make things move any faster because then you have people sitting at tables longer, waiting on food instead of turning them over. The guy at the register was also a total chatty Cathy so nothing moved fast when it finally was time, and he distracted himself so much he messed up orders. They do allow you to buy a drink while waiting but all I had on my mind was food. I'm not sure if this ordering model is their idea or a health code issue with having people standing around, but it certainly makes things frustrating. That said, I'm very glad we stuck it out. I had an ahi poke bowl which was delicious. Huge chunks of ahi and really excellent flavor. We also ordered the Beechers loaded fries which were deliciously seasoned and loaded with great toppings. A little cold for waiting on immediate food, but still good. My 3 year old had chicken strips which were nothing special but scarfed down by her and my bf ordered the chowder and blackened fish tacos. The chowder was fine and tacos were good but flavors between the fish and the slaw didn't really blend well together so taking a bite gave you one taste or the other but not really both. He had debated getting fish and chips but made a last minute change due to the loaded fries but will definitely do fish and chips next time. Now knowing the weird ordering system, we will return to try more, with different expectations, but I will say the food was good and the service was very attentive. read more

Food, ambiance, and service was all great. The only thing holding this place back is the seating. It gets packed and they can't sit anyone when it's full. I've never seen an operation like this, I get it there are constraints but put tables outside. Theres room, regardless if it's cold. We sat in line for 35 mins just waiting for people to eat and leave. The problem is the food is good the spot is great and nobody wants to leave. It's a great spot for groups. A lot of people left the line understandably , they have to fix their business practice. read more

I really like what the city of Everett is doing with the waterfront, new housing and new restaurants. I've wanted to check this new place out for a bit and finally was able to talk my wife into going. First impression nice modern style building can open wall doors to increase outdoor dining area gives it a nice flexibility. When we arrived we were very lucky to get a parking space in the restaurants lot there is more space but you might have to walk a bit. We arrived around 6 on a Saturday so it was busy you order at the counter and then get a table, the line went pretty fast. They have beer on tap and bottles and cans too. I decided to try their Cioppino and my wife got a salad with a Teriyaki Alaskan Salmon bowl. Didn't take long to arrive I finished mine the broth was lite and it along with the linguine didn't over power the seafoods also it was a generous portion. Because my wife had a salad she bought some home for a work lunch but I tried it and the salmon was cooked to a nice medium and the rice had a nice texture and flavor. Oh and the blistered green beans are awesome too! We will definitely be back read more

Very mixed feelings - we've gone a couple times now, the first on opening weekend and the second more recently and the experience has varied. The service has consistently been excellent with their staff being friendly, helpful and regularly checking in. My issue is primarily with the food. The first visit, we were served perfectly cooked, large portions of fish with our fish and chips. The second visit we received portions that were maybe 2 bites each absolutely soaked in grease to the point of being edible. This place feels like it has a ton of potential but is experiencing some growing pains. read more

We did go shortly after they opened so it was very busy & outside seating was not yet available. Kudos for how well they get you seated. My son had the Lobster Roll sandwich I had the Lobster Bisque. I am very sensitive to overly salted food so always have my son taste it so I don't fault them. Bisque was VERY salty with NO viable lobster....just an odd deep orange. Lobster had been frozen & not thawed properly. Why do I know this? My father ran all the Pacific Pearl canneries in Alaska before the fishing fleets became self contained, so I KNOW about frozen fish & what it should taste like. Had a gift card to use. I had the blackened cod tacos and a cup of chowder. The tortilla was pretty tuff, but the fish and filling were tasty. The chowder was pretty salty and could use more herbs. My husband had the cod fish and chips. Fries aren't anything special, could have used another dip in the fryer to crisp them up. The battered cod was fine. Added a water and a soda and the bill with tip was $72. Kind of spendy for the food but I guess you pay for the location. No views yet as it is a construction zone. The service was perfect. Fresh seafood - and everything on the menu sounded good. Scallop bowl was good - fish and chips (cod) was 5 star, crisp and not greasy. Service was helpful and friendly. Don't sleep on the warm chocolate chip cookie! Ordered two lobster rolls, $34 each, comes with a very small tin of Cole slaw. They only included two decent pieces of lobster (which were very chewy). The rest was made up of chum pieces that you would normally never eat but throw to the birds. Very disappointing, very poor quality; probably the worst lobster roll I've ever had. Fish & chips were good, green beans were just okay, and the crab & cheese 'toast' was soggy. The chicken tenders were good although a little on the dry side. For three adults and one toddler, with tip the check came to almost $200. Considering you stand in line to order your meal - I'm not sure why my hubs tipped. They did bring our food to us so there's that. One of their employees (Chris) was super nice when we needed to flag him down for some ketchup. We also didn't know you weren't supposed to grab a table until you had an order number in your hand (even if someone from your same party was ordering your food). They will scold you about it - even though there is no signage anywhere stating this is protocol. Not online and not onsite. Chris was at least gracious about it being our first time and not knowing the 'rules.' There were table nazis who decided to behave otherwise which was actually quite funny (it's not that serious dude, there were plenty of seats. But we know now and if we go back, we will order first before grabbing a table. This place just opened six months ago so not sure if all the negatives are normal for this restaurant brand. We live about 1-1/2 hrs away so we won't be rushing back any time soon. (Note: the bathrooms were disgusting....like really, really gross.) read more

I'm only commenting on the fish market aspect as I haven't had a chance to eat at the restaurant. Now first, I'm going to admit I probably had a very different idea on the concept. When I saw the words "fish market and eatery", I envisioned a full fish market on one side and a full restaurant on the other. Instead, it's a restaurant that happens to have a small fish case and some bits and bobs for ingredients. I was very disappointed in this finding as I was very excited at the idea of finally having a good fish market in Everett. Again, this was probably just me having the wrong idea on what the concept was. There's absolutely nothing wrong here. So happy to see a new seafood place come in to the Everett Marina. Service was excellent although I found it odd that the folks who seated us placed the order number on our table and then another server would come over and put our number placard on a lip above our seat. He said that putting it up high would get us faster service. Not sure why but I'm believe it made it easier for the food deliverer to see. Also no prices on the menu so i took a picture of the board. A QR code for the menu would be nice. I had the lobster bisque. Good flavor but quite salty. A few tiny chunks of lobster in the bowl but mostly soup. Also ordered the Halibut with chips. My favorite fish! Good slaw. Again the salt level was quite high but that could be my personal taste. I use little salt when cooking and add more as needed. I look forward to warmer weather so we can sit outside to eat. Seafood and sea air! read more

Excellent service and delicious food. My meal arrived on a bed of cold french fries. I made Katie my wait person aware of it and she corrected it IMMEDIATELY. This was our first time there. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. Hopefully we will get to sit outside. They are in a delightful location. read more
