So happy to see a new seafood place come in to the Everett Marina. Service was excellent although I found it odd that the folks who seated us placed the order number on our table and then another server would come over and put our number placard on a lip above our seat. He said that putting it up high would get us faster service. Not sure why but I'm believe it made it easier for the food deliverer to see. Also no prices on the menu so i took a picture of the board. A QR code for the menu would be nice. I had the lobster bisque. Good flavor but quite salty. A few tiny chunks of lobster in the bowl but mostly soup. Also ordered the Halibut with chips. My favorite fish! Good slaw. Again the salt level was quite high but that could be my personal taste. I use little salt when cooking and add more as needed. I look forward to warmer weather so we can sit outside to eat. Seafood and sea air! read more

Very good, most everything cooked from scratch no frozen food factory stuff served here, very fresh seafood.

Excellent service and delicious food. My meal arrived on a bed of cold french fries. I made Katie my wait person aware of it and she corrected it IMMEDIATELY. This was our first time there. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. Hopefully we will get to sit outside. They are in a delightful location. read more

The food is very good but the portion size for the price means that I will not return. $30 when you add a tip for 3 very small cod pieces and a good coleslaw served in a 1-1/2 oz container. And for there focus on local seafood all they had was New Zealand salmon. Really not very local. read more

This place nailed it Great customer service! The food is amazing Love the oyster shooters and the calamari is spot on. read more

A new restaurant on the Everett waterfront. Great experience! I had the crispy calamari. Delicious! They added Pepperoncini Peppers to the calamari and that really enhanced the dish. They have a good variety of foods and a decent selection of beers. Nice location. Excellent service. read more

Outstanding food!! Great atmosphere. I ordered the lobster roll and loaded fries- superb. Hubby ordered lobster crab cheese toast and clams. Everything was delicious! I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu. This area has desperately needed a great seafood place like this. Can't wait to sit on the patio during the summer and have a lobster roll and sav blanc. read more

See all

The food was very good but it was busy and ordering was a little bit confusing when the person walked by and asked if we had any orders to go, but really that just meant patio setting, which was our original intention. Brought my three boys here for Mother's Day and they absolutely loved the food and want to come back. read more

Came in on Saturday afternoon, had the calamari & chips again (4th time). This time it was very over cooked. I could only eat about half of my order. The rest was a dark brown, dry and very chewy. Disappointed. read more

Very friendly staff! The food was amazing too! Excellent spot. There is plenty of seating and they also have raw seafood you can purchase to take home read more

Just had lunch here with a friend. She had a shrimp dish and I had the tuna Nicoise Salad. Both were absolutely delicious. My friend received a more than generous portion of large, perfectly seasoned shrimp. I had a big chunk of beautifully seared ahi, a good mix of greens and veggies and possibly the best potato salad I've ever had. Staff was friendly and best of all, didn't make us feel at all rushed. Will definitely return. Very casual, medium pricey (but well worth it). Highly recommend! read more

Came with some friends. Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and a great addition to the Everett marina.

I wanted to try a new lunch spot so I took my Mom here for lunch today. 10 out of 10 recommend!! Relaxed vibe, scratch made fresh food made this a spot I will be coming back to regularly. read more

Delicious!!! Ono, oishi!!! This place is a vibe. Staff is friendly and on their game. Family friendly

I'm updating my review from the first day because they've really made efforts to improve the seating situation and I've dined there several times now. The clam clowder is the absolute BEST I've ever had, I wish it was available in larger quantities to take out. A bowl is about 2 cups I think but sometimes a bowl isn't enough! I tried the crab bisque and that's good too but based in a tomatoey broth and while it was good, I would pass next time and just stick w clam chowder. The Caesar salad was delicious, will definitely order again. Oh! And I requested the malt vinegar tartar sauce w my fish and chips this time on the advice of a friend and couldn't believe how delicious that was! To me it didn't sound appealing, but when once I tasted it, that's all I wanted. I really appreciate the fact that somebody is figuring out where you're going to sit before you place your order and then they walk you to your table, that's a huge improvement over my first experience. And if you're a party of two, you're not forced to sit at the cafeteria style table, which I appreciate. Everybody is very friendly and attentive. I think I've been back three times in one week, mainly because of the clam chowder. One more thing, the little bread piece that they give you with your soup is delicious. I'm going to ask next time if you can order more than one because it's a pretty slim petite slice, but very delicious. I've heard really good things about the sable fish. I think I am going to try that next time. read more

Great service! Welcoming atmosphere. Food is fresh and delicious! Loved soups and fish bowls. Definitely coming back!

We had a birthday party of 11. They did great with everything. Everyone had no complaints and the best fish and chips I have ever had. Great tartar sauce and fries. Will definitely be back for that again soon. read more

Delicious! Wonderful service as well. Fresh seafood to purchase definitely make the trip!

Food was amazing! Highly recommend. Staff was very attentive and the line went quickly.

Tonight was our 5th visit to the Net Shed and we will be back! The crab bisque is great, and with an entree the cost of a bowl is only $5 ($15 otherwise)! Though folks around us mostly ate fish & chips we have tried their unique sable fish and noodle bowl and other unique dishes. All have been delicious- but that crab bisque is a must every visit! read more

$30 for a couple bites of poke. You can get better poke with larger portions for 2/3 the price other places. The vibes were good tho.

I really want to like The Net Shed as it has a lot going for it and incredible potential. Our first experience wasn't so hot. - Service: Service was excellent, staff was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and they are doing everything right to make customers feel welcome. Grade A+. - Ambiance: Relaxed, fun vibe with tons of natural light. I'm looking forward to outdoor dining when the patio opens in warmer weather. Grade A. - Food: What's with all the salt?!? We were so psyched to try the clam chowder and crab bisque, but both really disappointed. Salt was the only thing we tasted, and the portions were small with barely a clam or crab detected. The smoked salmon melt was just ok - the idea is great but the execution was subpar, with a damp and stale-ish brioche bun and a salty cheddar/salmon combo. The leftover portion actually warmed up and tasted much better on day 2 at home! A generous portion of blackened fish tacos with salmon were absolutely excellent and saved the day. I love that they had local root beer available from Mukilteo. Grade C+. Great service and ambiance are crucial for a successful restaurant, but reliably excellent food is what keeps people coming back. I'll definitely give this place another shot, and hope they are taking constructive feedback being offered. read more

now I know why they don't publish their prices. WAYYYYYYY overpriced. no one uses market price for chips. lol

Starting with the customer service, as two restaurant industry people we were thoroughly impressed. All staff was happy and excited to be there, attentive to say the least. We were greeted by the owners brother who set us up at a table and with a stroller he had the table waiting for us with a chair removed so we didn't have to stress about anything. Their focus was definitely creating a stress free easy experience for us. The gentleman taking our order had a good energy and had good dialogue with us and the food. We tried the lobster roll, beechers Cajun fries, and blackened salmon tacos. All were exceptional and delicious. Salmon was perfectly cooked! We can't wait to try the warm lobster roll next time we come in, and the tomatillo sauce was amazing with the stacked fries. Such a positive experience! read more

Food was good. Was hoping for great. Had the clams, lobster fries, and poke bowl. Clams were just ok, lobster fries were good, poke bowl was good. Had 1 beer with lunch. Service was great but you order at the counter. If it's not busy they will wait on you. No cocktails. Only beer, ciders, seltzers and wine. Again I was expected to be blown away for $97 after tip for lunch for 2. For that price I'll go somewhere else and save this for a boat visit in summer. read more

Had lunch there yesterday during the lunch rush. It was busy, but they were efficient and we got our food fast. The cod fish and chips were great and the cheesy crab lobster toast is amazing! Great location, and great vibe.. Gets tons of sun it'll be even more amazing with outdoor dining in the summer. read more

My husband had the cioppino seafood stew which was pretty flavorless. I ordered Cod Grilled Tacos and got the Grilled Salmon. They left the salmon ones since they had already placed them on the table and then somewhat promptly replaced with the correct item and both dishes were quite good - the second, corrected order was lacking the 2 sauces and slice of lime thaty come with the dish, which was kind of disappointing. It's a casual, inviting environment albeit a little cold - as most of it is garage doors and no insulation. I would probably return EXCEPT for the fact that you order first, pay and then sit and get your food. I don't have a problem ordering at the counter and then sitting AND then paying (think Blazing Onion). However, I do not like the fact that you pay for your food and service BEFORE you get either. Won't return for this reason. read more

just had a great meal and and early lunch experience at the Net Shed. I'm a retired Everett business owner and sometimes at bit more critical when it comes to, especially, new businesses in my hometown of Everett cuz I'm behind them to succeed. we had an early lunch on February 1st for our first time with just the 3 of us. arrived at 12:30 and called earlier the day before to make a reservation. wasn't necessary cuz they'll only do reservations for parties of 10 or more. we arrived and wasn't that busy and immediately got a table and received some adult beverages as we were seated. we grabbed the the menus that were laid out as we got there. only issue was that it wasn't the complete menu that you could pull up online and with no prices. I asked why not and was told that the seafood prices fluctuate so much that they don't publish them. I thought strange but our serve with her handheld device could quickly describe each item and the current prices. our serve Alicen (spelling) was extremely efficient and she knew everything about the menu and the pricing of all. my suggestion would be to have a tablet of sometime on each table that could be on a lazy Susan so each diner could spin it around and see the entire menu with prices and could either order from the table or download it to our server. I never saw an appetizer menu or a dessert menu at the restaurant. it was only after searching on the website menu. it would definitely cut down the time for every server to spend considerably less time putting together a table menu for the kitchen staff. my only food criticism is that we ordered the steamed clams and even though they were fresh and delicious, they were cold, not hot at all and just a puddle of broth in the bowl. if the liquid was full, then the clams would remain hot and more delicious with the bread that you could immerse in the broth. my friend had th seafood Chippino (spelling) and it was extremely hot and stayed hot during our meal. we were table number 27 and our bill for just three of us was over $153.00 not accounting the tip that I left for our excellent server. hope that you'll just consider this as being constructive. thanks, Marc read more

We had the clam chowder, cioppino, and lobster roll. All three were fabulous. The service was fantastic. The person at the counter made recommendations and the servers were attentive. The place has limited seating, but it's spacious. I'm excited to go back and try more. read more

This is a neat spot along the boardwalk. We ordered fish and chips, coppino, chowder, calamari and beer. The ambiance was casual and clean enough being new-ish. Not keen on the unisex bathrooms because urine is on the floor around the toilet, the toilet seat is left up and also sprayed with urine. That alone puts you off eating. Nevertheless we stayed for the meal. You order at the counter, they give you the privilege of adding a tip at the till. We started with the chowder, it was flavorless but still my Husband enjoyed the warmth of the soup. The cod in the fish and chips tasted fresh but unfortunately the portion was very small and batter was soggy. At $24, it felt like a ripoff that restaurants these days can justify the price with catch phrases like "we use sustainable seafood" so we can gouge you. The calamari was served over a bed of Jalapeños. I usually love calamari but not this version. The pieces were over fried and over salted which ruined the taste of everything else for me. The cioppino was not very flavorful and worse, it was incredibly oversalted. The manager was kind enough to take it off our bill and have it remade twice. The third time was without salt but by then, my tongue was numb or swollen with the taste of the excessive salt previously. We appreciated how the situation was handled, it shows they want their guests to be happy. I hope they dial in their flavors better. Overall the ingredients were fresh, but the food isn't something that will keep you going back. The boardwalk is going to be a nice place to promenade along in the summer and you might get hungry and desperate, you will spend a fortune at one of these restaurants along it. read more
