Looks small from the outside but don't be fooled by the shabby exterior. Everything you could want at a south east Asian market.

In short We haven't had this kind of shopping around here,…read morelet alone focused in one store. This is where you get the super-nice meat and fish that supermarkets and big-box stores don't have. And their house-made fish dips are amazing. In long It's a little strip mall by the Speedway that would be kinda sleepy except for the drive-through coffee line constantly forming around the whole building. E&O have the end unit. You walk in to a shelf full of solid-value wines, mostly local, aimed to pair with whatever you might take home with you to cook. The ceilings are high, and the walls and floors are all spotless white. No decorations, very little merchandising, if any. There's a long butcher case on the left full of all kinds of crazy treats. Prawns the size of bratwursts. Steaks, roasts, different fish. They skip most of the stuff that supermarkets carry and focus only on more-specialty stuff. Their stock is either a nicer version or it's something that's unavailable elsewhere. You do pay for quality like this on some of the stuff, but if you're cooking a meal you're really looking forward to, the value makes it reasonable. Not everything is expensive, either. They had fresh lemons on the case for 40% less than the supermarket up the street. They had reds, whites, bubblies, and pinks in the wine section with every bottle under $20. And those fish dips, man. I'm surprised they don't sell out by afternoon every day. We had wild salmon and black cod dips before dinner last night, and both were fantastic. They're very well balanced, so maybe you could add hot sauce or fresh herbs to taste, but we've had them several times and never felt compelled to tune them up. The dudes behind the butcher case have decades of industry experience, and they couldn't be nicer, more patient, or more helpful. I love shopping here.

This market is farther than Evergreen Asian Market from where I live, but I prefer to stop here…read morefirst for what I need. There is an amazing selection of meat, fish, and vegetables here. Every time I visit, I pick up a fruit or vegetable that I haven't tried before. Today it was a small Korean melon with bright yellow skin. The guys who work the fish counter are personable and knowledgeable. The man who helped us made a good suggestion for the type of fish to use in a soup, and didn't grumble when, near closing, he had to start up the equipment to cut it for us. The parking lot can be busy but I just choose to park farther away from the door. Also, try to go during an off hour--the veggie section (and the store in general) can get crowded. I suggest stopping by the deli section at the front of the store to see what treats are available. Last time I tried a tasty steamed cake wrapped in banana leaf. Another tip is to jump on specials as soon as you see them. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up an entire pack of oxtails for 1.99 a pound. I went back a few days later and they were gone. I still bought oxtails, for up to $2.00 less a pound than other stores. Lastly, double check the expiration dates on prepackaged foods. Every once and a while you'll find one that is past it's prime.

We've had their fresh poke several times and our favorites are the spicy ahi and traditional ahi, and their mac salad is similar to what you can get in Hawaii. There's a great selection of fish and we appreciated them cleaning and scaling our branzino that came out delicious on the grill. Prices may be a little higher than other markets, but you can definitely tell you're getting top quality. No seating available to enjoy your chirashi or poke bowls, but plenty of parking. One of my first meals after moving here was a poke bowl from this spot! I've been here almost two months and have already visited at least 4-5 times - I've lost count, actually, but I know I'll be back for more. This is already on my place to go treat myself for my upcoming birthday. I'm now totally addicted to their salmon dip. The pricing is reasonable (please don't change), which is fantastic, and the staff I've encountered have all been very kind.

We ordered an abundant spread, and every dish impressed. The clear crowd favorite was the Singapore black pepper prawns - fragrant, perfectly spiced, and completely addictive. That black pepper sauce was hands down the star of the meal: rich, peppery, and deeply flavorful. It was my favorite and could easily be eaten on everything. The Mala curry crab and XO crab were both outstanding; layered with complex, indulgent flavors. The Thai green chili clams and saus mentega clams were vibrant and comforting, while the crab fried rice had generous morsels of crab folded throughout the dish. We also really enjoyed the Indonesian chicken wings, which were crispy and flavorful, and the stir-fried vegetables, which added a fresh, well-balanced contrast to the seafood-heavy menu. Everything traveled well, was thoughtfully prepared, and made for an unforgettable catered meal. If you're considering catering from Marimakan Crabhouse, I can't recommend it highly enough. Get the black pepper sauce! Amazing from start to finish, and Chef V or Rachel is lovely to work with.

The ani poke was drenched in the vinaigrette and was too sour for me. The croquettes and the crab cakes were good. Came out hot and fresh, also had alot of seafood filling which is nice! We also ordered the steak bites on crostini's and that was really good. Wasn't expecting a crostini bite but the presentation was good too. Would definitely come back for HH again.
