In my H Mart Shopping Career, I can say this one is pretty good. Lots of parking. CHECK. Clutter free aisle. CHECK. Okay friendly cashier. CHECK. Decent K/J Beauty selection. CHECK. Push Asian Aunties all over the place. CHECK. Of course in Georgia we're spoiled with our larger than South Korea H-Marts that take up half the state and you need a roller skate just to get through it all. But that's okay.Not every state can have the 2nd largest Korean population outside of Korea. They got fresh veggies, fresh seafood, a really yummy food department and shopping carts that aren't falling apart. I know my standards are low but you know us Asians, the more money they spend on the build out, the more the groceries cost. Asians, we don't pay for ambiance. Who cares. Low prices, free samples and free gift with purchase. That's what I'm talking about! read more

My go to store when I stayed longer in the Seattle area and wanted to make Korean food on the regular. This is where I'd pick up my kimchi making supplies. Honorable mention: they offer a wide range of Mexican pantry/produce/dry goods at H Mart surprisingly. Tip: Their alcohol is priced higher here, try the other asian super markets on Hwy 99 for more competitive pricing for everything else. read more

Came here because we needed some Beard Papa and I think this is the only one in the state. Mom discovered it was at an HMart and before we could park the car she hopped out to go shopping. My SIL said, "Oh no. We'll be here for hours." She had a right to be afraid because this is the biggest HMart my Mom has ever seen. Mom needed to get soem bitter melon for Dad and she was craving one of her Filipino dishes after a few days of eating white people food, so she needed ingredients and he found them. When I occasionally want to shop at a different H-Mart, I come here. Prices seem to have gone up a lot compared to before, and there were fewer promotional items. It was very quiet, probably because it was Tuesday. Because it was not busy, the vegetables didn't seem very fresh, so despite coming here with the intention, I didn't buy many items. There's also a food court here that I visit when I come. I always have the old-school Jajangmyeon and Tangsuyuk, which still taste good, but it seems like the portions are gradually getting smaller. Prices seem to be rising everywhere these days, not just here tho. Well, it wasn't busy at all but the cashier still made mistakes. Just make sure to check your receipt for items scanned twice or more so you won't overpay. I live too far so I won't go back for a refund. read more

I've been visiting this H Mart for decades and have always appreciated their wide variety of Asian foods, fresh meat, and vegetables. I also love their food court, where I can enjoy good fried chicken and jajangmyeon. Parking is convenient as there is a parking lot, and their staff is helpful if you have any questions. I feel their inventory labeling is relatively good compared to some other Asian markets. Overall, good experience coming here except the checking out lines may get really long. read more

HMart has pretty big varieties of fruits, vegetables, seasonings, meats, seafood, rice, noodles, seaweeds, ice cream, snacks, etc. I also can say the meats are FRESH! I usually feel skeptical about the quality of the raw meats in some asian groceries, but not here :) In fact, I bought salmon few times from one of the biggest grocery stores in the state, they are always went bad & smells as soon as I got home. That is not the case here. This place is pretty organized. Service is okay, nothing memorable. It can be better if they don't mind to do extra miles by greeting customers or offering helps whenever the staff passing by. read more

A lot of competition in this category and I don't think H Mart will last. Lots of newer asian stores and regular groceries have started carrying more Korean brands at much much better prices than H Mart. PROS: - convenient location tons of parking - wide variety of products and fresh produce always well stocked, a lot of options for hot pot - hot and cold food served daily - enough cashier lines to keep lines moving which I appreciate - mini food court right outside - variety of price points there's something for everyone CONS: - Silly expensive prices for simple regular things have gone up aggressively over the years - mixed veggies and raw octopus salad prices are really expensive. You get a small finger worth of food for over 7 dollars (I'm laughing as I type this) - pickled radish prices are so bad here I go anywhere else for reasonable prices. Recommend Town & Country grocery store! They carry a great variety of Korean products and pickled radish at normal prices - cashiers are not friendly, no one smiles - hot food looks overly handled and is questionable. Not to mention that they fill up the whole bowls with a tub of rice, sprinkle 3-4 pieces of meat on top and sell you a tub of rice basically for 10-14 dollars. Don't do it! - seafood prices are atrocious and look overly handled. I don't recommend buying fresh buy frozen from them - half of a small snow crab leg price? $93 before tax - same type of kimchi sold in large volume. Lacks variety of kimchi brands. No sweet kimchi. I highly recommend going to Town & Country to get better reasonable prices than HMart. I don't buy beef or meat here mostly come for some produce and restock of kitchen items. Just an update from my first review that was just two weeks ago. Gimbap is still delish, but unfortunately shrinkflation has hit! Portions got cut down (and price as well) but not enough to cover the difference in size. Bummer, but still a treat just a little bit less of a slamming deal. read more

While in Seattle, we needed to stock up on some Korean groceries, so we came to this H Mart. As other H Mart locations, they have snack items, candies, produce, specialty items, houseware goods, as well as some pre-made hot food. We picked up some veggies, meats for KBBQ, and ramen. The store is a bit smaller, but seems well-stocked. There were also items that I haven't seen in other H Marts, like the butter kimchi ramen! Please don't buy the ready made hot food, it's truly disgusting and has no flavor. Tried the mapo tofu, and couldn't even finish it. Neither my friend could either (and she can eat anything). I like this place. It's probably my new favorite grocery store. Not as hectic as thr Asian family market. But better than the mom and pop markets. They have some very good stuff for people who like to eat healthy. One of my favorite things is their layout. Very authentic feeling and has a good flow for shoppers. Various sections for food and kitchen tooling and even clothing. I will admit their frozen and packaged foods are mostly pork with almost beef options and a few chicken and seafood options. I will still be getting my Shumai from trader Joe's lol. Luckily they have lots of parking and even other stores in the mall this market is located inside of. Lowkey it helps add a layer of security for the store. And if your bored while your shopping with others, you can duck out and enjoy the other stores. read more

I like coming here for a quick meal from the deli. You can get an array of beef, chicken, pork and fish dishes hot and ready. Great stir fry, rice and noodle choices. Comes with a seaweed and miso soup. The first time I went through, the workers scolded me for not taking enough. So I went back to get mor food . Hardly being able to close the lid of your container is perfectly acceptable here. Got like 2 lbs of food. Lots of choices for 15.00. Enough good food for at least another day. You can get roasted duck and bakery items to round out your meal. I got a durian turnover, which was tasty. I feel the hot bar is a great bargain for the quality of of food you get and the amount of food. read more

H Mart is an amazing Asian market, this was my first time visiting this market. I have frequented one other Asian market in town, this one is much better. The market is extremely large, they have everything you would need as far as groceries, as well as large and small appliances like refrigerators. The selection of fresh seafood and vegetables are enormous. This grocery store is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. If you need ingredients for Asian cooking, this market is one stop shopping. This will be my new local Asian market. read more

Pros: Huge store with food court and small businesses including a bakery, bank and salon next to the entrance. Lots of frozen dumplings, large produce section and excellent sauce selection. Cons: Parking lot is a circus. Prepared foods section didn't have many choices (no maki, sushi, dumplings, etc) compared to other HMarts I went to like Cary NC or Arlington VA. Couldn't find any turnip cake. You had to line up (about 10-15 people per line) for multiple registers, in early afternoon. Really? We were queued in the liquor section. An employee helped guide you to an open register once you got close. I'd have second thoughts about coming here again due to distance if I could get the same dumplings at Ranch 99 or another Asian market. read more

They used to have good service, but things have changed. Now they never pick up the phone (tried call them multiple times on multiple days). Also, no one working there speaks Korean. I asked them if anyone speaks Korean and they said no. Customer service is terrible. I come every year or two from Montana and I especially like this location, it's huge, has a ton of different items and fresh fruits and vegetables, the meats and seafood are exceptional. We stock up on the dried noodles and other items and are able to pack up the freshest fish and meats. I love the food court and am addicted to the fresh fried chicken that you can choose which sauce. I ordered the Galbi and the hot, which was super hot but both were delicious, personally I liked the Galbi better though and it had green onions and gojusang sauce, it took about 20 minutes to cool down because it was piping hot and so damn awesome. Next door was a booth that had JaJang men, which are perfectly cooked noodles with black bean sauce and we got beef and vegetables in it, incredible. I always love shopping here and eating in the food court, even though I just got home, I can't wait to go back next year. read more

A pretty good H Mart!!! Great amount of selection on various items such as Korean snacks, veggies, Ramen, drinks, meat and kitchen items. Really like the organization and display of the inventory that are all in stock! Prices are pretty reasonable for a Korean grocery store, too. Kind of like the different types of noodles, Aloe drinks, Korean milks and popular candies and snacks. Probably one of the best H Marts I have ever been to. Was on my way back down from Marysville and I decided to stop by this H Mart since I had never been to this location. It's definitely bigger, better, and newer than the one in Federal Way which is the location where I normally shop. The building reminded me of 99 Ranch in Kent where there's the main grocery store and smaller shops and restaurants within the same building. Something I noticed while walking around the concourse area was the painted ceiling mimicking the sky just like the concourse areas of a couple hotels in Vegas (Paris and Venetian). The deli area has more banchan choices and the aisles are wide. It's not as chaotic as the Federal Way location which was shocking. It's good to know I can stop by here again in case I go on another road trip up north. read more

The H Mart plaza is a sizable mini-mall anchored by H Mart the Korean supermarket. Walking in, on the far left is a food court, dominated rightly by multiple Korean eateries, plus a Beard Papa cream puffs, a sushi restaurant, and a pastry shop. Otherwise, there are beauty shops, a mini-gift shop, a clothing shop, and even a socks kiosk. The H Mart supermarket is a beauty of all things Korean. Don't confuse it with Uwajimaya, which is all things Japanese. And yes, there are common or even similar products between the two, but it is hands down Korean. My favorite areas: - Produce - but fruits are far better than veggies, especially leafy greens. I find the leaf greens commonly are below par. I find myself regularly disappointed at simple veggies like bok choy. - Tofu - every fresh kind. But the produce here is amazing, the meat and seafood has so much variety and options you cant get in mainstream grocery stores. Prices are great. They seem lower that Safeway, Kroger, etc. the atmosphere is more chaotic than other grocery stores but that's the beauty of H-Mart. I always go here for my produce and seafood. Service? It was an early morning during work. I passed by and then turned around to get a drink. It's a typical Asian Grocery Store. I'm here in the Seattle area for work (2 weeks) all the way from Sacramento California. I'm glad there's a store like this in the area. At least I don't feel deprived feeling out of place. Having a grocery store that has everything I need is absolutely a plus. I bought a sailor moon soda. I walked around and found lots of snacks. If I wasn't press for time, I would've bought more food. Conveniently located in the Alderwood area in Lynnwood, this H-mart is somewhat better than Federal Way location when it comes to grocery outlying and cleanliness. Found my favorite Jajangmyeon ingredients by the central fresh produce aisle. The tofu they sell is very fresh too, so add extra points for that. Quality, randomly cut pieces seemed intended to disguise the fact you're mostly getting back parts. very very pieces with meat. If you love expensive fried bones then this will be food for you. Taste, everything was dry and hard. Supper crispy, so if that is what you're looking for you're in luck. The seasoning is spot on and tasty. The only redeeming quality.
